"Azore CFD for all the Fluid Dynamics solutions you need."
What do you like best about Azore CFD?

The gas species and different liquid mixing technology helps a lot in mixing and creating different specific volume solutions for dispensing unit technology. Studying heat and mass transfer is very easy with Azore CFD due to its wide range of tools and tabs. Using it regularly lets users to study different fluid laws practically. Wide range of pre and post processing software integration helps you easily study, review and present data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azore CFD?

The customer support could be developed more to help users solve their problems due to the lack of resources available about the software. Adding a how to do series on a data platform would really make users strive more in using the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Robert Mudry of Azore CFD

I appreciate you your comments about Azore and its applicability to your mixing technology and heat transfer work.

Regarding your comment about customer support, please know that our technical team is always available by email or web-based collaboration for questions and support. We are also expanding our online tutorials and case studies, so please check our website regularly. The base tutorial library that comes with the initial installation package is small (5 cases) so as to keep the initial file size down. But there are additional tutorials and learning videos available on our website and YouTube page. See the following links for these learning options, and feel free to contact our tech support or me with any additional questions.

"Work in Progress"
What do you like best about Azore CFD?

Ease of use and import abilities. Also solution monitoring is not bad. Has the feel of a commercial solver, no additional use tutorials are needed its very intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azore CFD?

Many models and settings not implemented yet. Attempted to use for actuator disk model which sadly wasn't available. Additionally many external flow simulations are not possible due to lack of SA and k omega SST models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Robert Mudry of Azore CFD

Thank you for your review of AzoreCFD. In late March 2024 we released a new version of Azore with the k-omega SST turbulence model. It has been fully implemented and is working well. There are a number of case studies now on the Azore website, including some very deep-dive technical discussions by Azore's lead developer. Check out this link for more information: https://www.azorecfd.com/blog/turbulence-modeling.

Also, Azore does have a moving reference frame model which could be applicable to your EVTOL application. I have used the MRF for fans, impellers and other devices on several projects.

I would be glad to provide another 30-day trial for you to check out the latest Azore.

"CFD simulations you can trully trust"
What do you like best about Azore CFD?

- It is intuitive and straightforward enough to use that you won't feel lost when you try to take on your first project.

- Some tools like mesh checking and interface creation are very handy to try and troubleshoot your mesh.

- Technical support is top-notch. They will help and advise you throughout your simulations.

- Whenever you feel the need to automatize some simulation process or, for example, create an isosurface animation, you can code a JS script and run it through Azore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azore CFD?

- At the time of writing this review, although it will on future versions, it does not have transient capabilities implemented on the interface, which would be something quite useful for time-dependant simulations.

- It would be great if they uploaded some simple and advanced tutorials on their webpage to make it even easier to start with the software and its post-processing functions.

- Some other CFD packages include an unlimited number of cores with no extra cost in their Advanced version. In contrast, in Azore, you are limited to 32 Cores unless the Premium version is acquired. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great CFD tool!"
What do you like best about Azore CFD?

The software is very easy to learn and is very customizable to a user's needs. The tutorials are very thorough and provide users with basics they are able to build upon with continued use. I would highly recommend this software to any user looking to virtually simulate the behavior of fluid systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azore CFD?

I am looking forward to seeing new tutorials and examples of this software in use, as there are many available resources, but not extremely extensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Tool for Flow Simulation"
What do you like best about Azore CFD?

Azore CFD was built with the intention that the user could customize their experience. From expediting the plotting tool through JavaScript to modifying boundary conditions without having to open the model, this program makes for accurate and efficient modelling. I have enjoyed learning all the ins-and-outs of this tool and would recommend it to engineers and scientists looking to solve their own fluid problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azore CFD?

As with any tool, the user needs to take time to learn the commands. There are lots of resources online, and I am looking forward to seeing more posted to make it easier to learn the lesser-known features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Primary Air Flow Simulation using Azore"
What do you like best about Azore CFD?

An user friendly GUI enables to have quick toggle between various tools. In particular, the post-processing vector contuor, helps to understand the flow in the system and also to determine whether the simulation is modeled in proper way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azore CFD?

It's difficult to find some online forum or discussion regarding the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Azore CFD "
What do you like best about Azore CFD?

The software was pretty easy to learn. I read in a mesh created in Trelis and it only took about 30 minutes to put in all my boundary conditions and get the simulation running. I also like the post-processing GUI, particularly the pathline animations. These were useful to show my colleagues who are not well-versed in CFD. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azore CFD?

It would be nice if I could automatically export a video file. Please add this to the next release. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great CFD tool for ductwork systems"
What do you like best about Azore CFD?

The solver ran fast on our 24 core machine, pretty much overnight runs at the longest even for a large mesh. The postprocessing was easy to learn, and I really liked the "save scene" option to get exactly the same view and data to quickly compare each of my design runs and present them to the client in an organized way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azore CFD?

I used a separate software to make a movie animation of streamlines. Would be nice to have this integrated immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
