## Azore CFD Reviews
  ### 1. Azore _ Reliable and User-Friendly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thi Tuong Vi Q. | Computer Technician, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Azore CFD?**

Azore solver is reliable and easy to use, which makes setting up an analysis a straightforward process.

**What do you dislike about Azore CFD?**

The error messages could be more straightforward, as they are frequently hard to interpret. Furthermore, the limitations placed on imported meshes can feel restrictive.

**What problems is Azore CFD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Azore is useful for addressing CFD problems.

  ### 2. Useful tool for CFD applications

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maher E. | Graduate Research Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Azore CFD?**

What is great about Azore CFD is the user-friendliness of the interface. It doesn't matter if you are an experienced CFD user or a beginner; the software is designed to provide an easy workflow to set up the simulation and post-process the results.
One of the best aspect of this sotware is that it is very quick to download and install with no complex installation steps (at least for a single machine).

**What do you dislike about Azore CFD?**

For general purpose CFD application, Azore CFD seems a good choice. However, for validation studies (ie, turbulence modeling), more turbulence models could be included. On another note (on a purely aesthetic basis), the user interface looks like old software (windows xp style).
Even though tech support is very responsive and helpful, there is still a lack of online video tutorials. I am sure this won't be the case when more users download and start using the software.

**What problems is Azore CFD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being a beginner in Azore CFD, I have started by simulating simple geometries (ducts, pipes, symmetrical airfoils, etc.). Compared to other commercial software, Azore CFD allows much faster case setups.

**Official Response from Robert Mudry:**

> Thank you for your comments and input. We will continue to add more turbulence models (k-omega SST was added in 2024) and also update our online tutorials. We are currently preparing an interesting tutorial featuring the fan curve boundary condition, where you can provide a fan curve and Azore will calculate the fan flow rate based on the pressure losses and distribution in the model. This is a very useful BC for HVAC studies. Please continue to check out our YouTube page as tutorials are added. The link is: https://www.youtube.com/@azorecfd/playlists

  ### 3. Perfect tool for simulation of Air Flow and Temp Mixer in building space

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Azore CFD?**

Azore CFD is nice tool to have since it's user friendly interface will be helpful for any novice person to feel comfortable while use. Whether you're an experienced CFD user or just starting out, the software makes it easy to set up simulations and analyze results. For individual user it works perfect since it's download on machine and easy installation and integration. I do use this couple of times in month for RFQ projects.

**What do you dislike about Azore CFD?**

More tutorial video of Azore CFD will be really helpful for users to utilize it's whole potential and make it fast pace solution to all answers we are looking for.

**What problems is Azore CFD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Air Flow from AHU to building space.
Temprature distribution in to confined space.

  ### 4. Lacks Meshing Power

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Smith L. | Principal Project Manager, Retail, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Azore CFD?**

The AZOR-CFD tool is an appropriate CFD simulation software for novice users. User interface is simple and user-friendly, thus you start with the basic models without getting frustrated. With neatly organized tutorials, it is fairly easy for me to download and start immersing myself in the beautiful world of waterscapes.

**What do you dislike about Azore CFD?**

Azore may speed up simple meshes but difficult shapes will not be easy to work with. But when it comes to the complicated designs, meshing tools will start to limit our capabilities. The words “therefore, sometimes, additional software” imply I needed to employ other software to initially develop the mesh before feeding it into the Azore’s environment.

**What problems is Azore CFD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding, installing, and using Azore's CFD software has been an indispensable tool for visualizing fluid flow in my design process. It really has allowed me to deal with certain possible drawbacks of a design at the initial phase, what makes the prototypes unnecessary. This interface goes along with an overall CFD that is user-friendly, easy to use even for those who are new to CFD.

**Official Response from Robert Mudry:**

> Thank you very much for your comments about Azore. Regarding meshing, Azore is able to handle any range from simple to extremely complex and large meshes. These can be tetrahedral, hexahedral, polyhedral, or hybrid mesh topologies. Azore does not have a built-in meshing software, however, which allows users to utilize the meshing software of their choice. Meshes from software like Cubit, Ansys meshing, CFMesh, SnappyHex, and others can be imported, and these can be any size, topology, or complexity level.

  ### 5. Limited Learning Resources

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thelma B. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Azore CFD?**

A CFD As the Azore's best selling point is its processing power. It solves simulation of flows satisfactory, and therefore I can see in details all the things that happen, and operate with real life conditions. The software has an intuitive user interface too which helps in setting simulations and intuitively visualizing the results, the above-mentioned feature saves my time and efforts.

**What do you dislike about Azore CFD?**

Due to insufficiency of something in the Azores CFD educational products the learning resources of Azores CFD are inadequate. Unlike others CFD software, it is bereft of extensive lesson tutorials and users guides. This can get really annoying for me, as a novice user, particularly when I appear at something totally unexpected or facing certain problems and don't know how to solve them.

**What problems is Azore CFD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Azore CFD has developed itself as a helpful tool in my workflow pipeline now. It was superb capacity which overly helped in executing such deep simulations which was almost impossible in the past. The simplified interface impartially speeds up the process, enabling me to spend my time on reading out results and making the right design decisions.

**Official Response from Robert Mudry:**

> Thank you for your comments about Azore and its benefits to your simulation workflow. Our developers strive to make the user interface intuitive and powerful to allow for efficient and accurate analysis of results.

Regarding your comment about learning resources and tutorials, I agree it would be great to have examples for all possible types of simulations and cases. We are constantly working to add more, so please check our website regularly. The base tutorial library that comes with the initial installation package is small (5 cases) so as to keep the initial file size down. But there are additional tutorials and learning videos available on our website and YouTube page.
