What I like most about the new Amplify Platform is its support for full-stack CI/CD with better flexibility for modern frameworks like Next.js and React Server Components. It also offers a developer-friendly backend configuration using TypeScript, making it easy to manage and scale backend services like APIs, Auth, and Storage directly in code. This makes the development and deployment process much smoother and more integrated Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Amplify has improved a lot recently, there are still a few areas where it can get better. For example, more flexibility in customizing backend resources beyond the standard abstractions would help advanced use cases. Also, debugging locally with Amplify mock tools can still be tricky, especially for things like AppSync or complex auth flows. Better integration with other AWS services out-of-the-box and more transparent cost estimation during setup would also be helpful for teams managing budgets Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
