I find it frustrating when the desktop version occasionally freezes. Fortunately, this issue is quite intermittent and typically resolves itself within about 30 minutes. A payroll system is basically a simple model BUT

I like the versatility and the ability to customize to what I need no matter the part of the program I am in, down to menu names.

When you know how it works as well as I do, I can make it do more than the average user which makes it even better for my needs and makes the experience a very positive one.

Some of the tech is starting to fall behind some of the other big shiny providers, though for this price point it is quite robust and still I'm able to get what I need done and want most of the time f get it to a format to get there and I'm a big supporter. I love it's Canadian (Albertan) that started small to the company it is today and still have the personalized client feel. They really work hard to put out a great product and they do!
