What do you like best about Avalara?

We use ECM which helps us centralize certificates, keep track of expiration dates and tax id numbers. It also provides us a resource center with a lot of important information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Avalara?

It does not automatically reject certificates with missing informations. It does not allow to create customize report which contains tax ids. We asked our account support to create a customized report for us but it does not capture all the customers with uploaded certificates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helped with sales tax compliance and audit exposure reduction"

What do you like best about Avalara?

The ability to organize customer certificates and maintain records easily. Being able to quickly and easily validate certificates keeps our business moving because our customers do not want to pay sales tax when possible, so having an efficient system to add certificates means they can order quickly without paying sales tax. What do you dislike about Avalara?

It would be nice to see some updated features around linking certificates to multiple states after the certificate is already added to the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Avalara solving and how is that benefiting you?

Avalara is helping to ensure that we are charging the appropriate sales tax rates when customers are not exempt and keeping records up to date based on requirements of expiration on certificates with states. We have seen a significant reduction in audit totals since implementing Avalara even in the most difficult of states. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
