# Has anyone using Avalara experience issues with this service recently 2021?

Website issues? Customer Support Issues? Cancellation Issues?
Better yet, does anyone have any solutions that have helped them solve any of these issues?

I canceled on February 20, 2026 and on May 5th, I'm still battling them to confirm cancellation of my account. They've continued to bill me and withdraw money from my account. The most recent ACH was a substantial amount of money and my new provider says the money wasn't deposited into our tax accounts. Avalara reps promise to call back but they haven't. Nobody responds to emails and they avoid taking responsibility. Avoid them completely

There is nothing we haven't had an issue with regarding Avalara. Website goes down randomly, customer support is the worst, wanted to cancel a service, but didn't receive a notice our annual term was up so it auto renewed. We'd had so many problems with them that they credited us for part of the renewal cost. Our only resolution is to learn how do to all of this in house.

I'm sorry to hear Avalara is still horrible. I don't understand how they are in business. Look into TaxJar! They have been great.
