"All My Taxes in One Place, with Research Done for Me"

What do you like best about Avalara?

What do you dislike about Avalara?

Sometimes the support experience has felt a bit clunky, with some miscommunication—especially when I’m dealing with new integrations. I’ve also noticed there are a lot of add-on services required to get everything I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Avalara solving and how is that benefiting you?

Premium Returns has completed a full review of all 51 jurisdictions to ensure we’re reporting our returns correctly, and that has been very helpful. Avalara Tax Research also helps our purchasers and AP staff evaluate the taxability of what we’re buying more quickly and accurately. "Avalara files automatically, but frequent errors and slow tiered support are frustrating"

"Easy to Use and Keeps Up with Tax Changes After Setup"

"Sales tax does not display in Quickbooks sales tax field"

What do you like best about Avalara?

I don't like Avalara their sales tax does not display in the sales tax field in quickbooks. Instead it displays where in the product service field. We had to uninstall it to prevent our clients from rejecting invoices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Avalara?

They don't stand by their product and claim the issue with their sales tax not displaying in the sales tax field is a quickbooks 'display error'. They refuse to cancel our invoice even though the product does not work for the purpose of putting sales tax in the sales tax field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that Avalara takes the guesswork out of sales tax. I don't have to know all the tax laws for various states. I spend less time on taxes and more time focusing on my company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Tax Calculations and an Ever-Improving UI"
