**What do you like best about AvaHR?**

I appreciate the accuracy of the personality testing results. We use D.I.S.C. along with a few other assessments, then process the results through AI to generate our job interview sheets. This helps us make sure we hire the right people for the right positions.

**What do you dislike about AvaHR?**

We’re unable to upload a fillable PDF form. When we share our link on social media, it only directs users to a general application page. We’d like to have a fillable application form as the landing page instead, so applicants can complete and submit it directly to us.

**What problems is AvaHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking for a new approach in our interview process. Having the ability to use the camera allows us to verify whether candidates are actually completing the assessments themselves, rather than having someone else, like a spouse, do it for them—which has happened before. Additionally, the assessment results help us more accurately identify candidates who are a good fit for our company.

**What do you like best about AvaHR?**

The option to set up a prescreen questionnaire that all potential applicants have to fill out prior to setting up an interview. It really helps narrow down our target audience more efficiently.

**What do you dislike about AvaHR?**

We are still getting a lot of applicants that do not read the ad prior to applying. I’m wondering if it has anything to do with some platforms, allowing a one click apply rule where it allows applicants to bypass actually going to the job ad and just clicking to apply without taking the time to look at the job. For some platforms, they also target applicants using keywords that link up to their resume words and again it allows them to quickly apply without actually reading the ad.

**What problems is AvaHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of having our job ad on multiple platforms, Ava HR is allowing us to filter that in a more streamlined way, and again again having a questionnaire to prescreen really adds a lot more efficiency to the process

**What do you like best about AvaHR?**

What I like best is how AvaHR saves me both time and money. Instead of paying to post directly on Indeed, I can use AvaHR to publish jobs across multiple sites from one platform, which has already cut down on costs. On top of that, everything is organized in one place, so I’m not wasting hours managing different job boards or sorting through messy emails. It makes hiring faster, easier, and more affordable for our business.

**What do you dislike about AvaHR?**

I’d say it just took me a little time to get used to the new system, but once I did, it’s been smooth and easy to use. Compared to the old way we were hiring, it’s a huge improvement.

Before AvaHR, hiring was scattered. I had to post on multiple sites, keep track of resumes through email, and spend money on paid job postings like Indeed. It was time-consuming, expensive, and hard to stay organized.

AvaHR solved that by putting everything in one platform. Now I can post jobs in multiple places at once, track applicants in an organized way, and communicate with candidates without the stress. It’s saving me both time and money, while also helping me find stronger candidates faster. For a growing business like ours, that makes a huge difference.

What I like best about AvaHR is how easy it makes the hiring process from start to finish. It keeps everything in one place, from job postings to tracking applicants, and saves us hours each week. The platform is clean, simple, and powerful without being overwhelming.

Honestly, there isn’t much I dislike. If I had to choose one thing, it’s just that it took me a little time to learn all the features, but once I did, it’s been smooth sailing.

Before AvaHR, hiring at our shop was disorganized...we were juggling job boards, emails, and spreadsheets just to keep track of applicants. It was easy to lose good candidates in the shuffle and honestly, it took up way too much of my time.

I like how easy AvaHR is to use. It's perfect for me as a small business, and it's optimized for hiring quickly. I love the SMS feature as it helps us quickly connect with candidates and notifies us of responses without giving out our personal cell phone numbers.

The thing I don't like is it doesn't have a payroll system embedded in the platform.

When pausing or closing the ad it takes time to be removed from all the different sites so potential applicants call because it shows them it is still active.

AvaHR is very user friendly! The integration and implementation was incredibly easy. I appreciate that we can include screening questions for applicants to answer so we have a pool of the most qualified candidates. I also like that AvaHR has options for their HR packages.

The platform saves us money compared to posting only on Indeed.
Everything is organized, no more juggling résumés through email threads.
The team is super supportive and quick to answer questions.
It helps us collaborate better as a clinic when reviewing applicants.

There was a small learning curve at the beginning while getting used to the system, but their team walked us a learn an onboarding demo that helped! 
Notifications can feel a little overwhelming if not adjusted to our preferences.

**What do you like best about AvaHR?**

I have used many ATS's in my career, but when I made a job change to a much smaller company, they did not have any sort of ATS in place. I wanted to find something functional but budget friendly. I didn't need to build capacity (HRIS). This system has everything I need plus more! I am more than happy with this service and would recommend to any smaller company who doesn't need something so robust (such as ADP or Paycom)

**What do you dislike about AvaHR?**

I have not taken a ton of time to learn the scorecards and I dont think its very clearly explained. I would like to dive deeper into all of the features that im sure i am not using correctly or to their capabilities.

**What problems is AvaHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time management! I am able to post to all of the major job boards plus many others that I was not aware of. All of the applicants are in one centralized location which is nice. I used to have to go to each job board to find the applicant i was about to speak with.

**What do you like best about AvaHR?**

I have used VivaHR for almost 5 years (between 2 positions at different companies) and have recommended it to at least 3 clients. Each time it was a easy set up and an instruction filled walk-through for everyone. Also it integrates with our payroll platform so I do not have to enter hired candidate data, I just transfer it.

**What do you dislike about AvaHR?**

It would be great if there were some features that allowed me to duplicate an existing questionnaire and edit it instead of having to start from the beginning each time. Also it would be great if the email that sends with the resume also included the questionnaire answers.

**What problems is AvaHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

VivaHR makes posting a job quick and easy. I only have to post in 1 board and it is posted across the internet compared to taking 3 days to post in multiple boards and maintaining the accounts, then removing all the post after the job is filled.

There are a lot of analytics, the results are amazing. There are lots of leads and the information being received is very complete. Customer service is top notch, friendly, informative, fair, and considerate to the needs of the customer.

We are a small non-profit and we were looking to hire in one or two states. It is not fair of me to say that tailoring to specific areas cannot be done, it is something that we are working on at this time. There is nothing I can think of that I dislike.

We needed applicants we received lots of excellent applicants, we only wish we were able to utilize many of them. Time zones limit us in our geographic area.

**What do you like best about AvaHR?**

VivaHR is user-friendly for us as an employer and for applicants. VivaHR has allowed me to create my own "Buckets" for moving applications, scorecards for phone screens, and interviews giving us an overall score. Setting up templates for emails and ads saves time. The Staff is awesome at VivaHR, and Dani is a gem. Honestly, VivaHR has been my lifesaver for recruiting in remote areas. We are finding strong applicants across the board. Thank you VivaHR for providing an awesome platform for recruiting.

VivaHR has been fantastic at addressing any issues that have popped up, as technology has from time to time. There is nothing I don't like about VivaHR.

VivaHR has solved my remote recruiting struggles as we now have applicant flow with quality candidates. Also the ease of having everything in one place with the ATS system is a beautify thing.

I like how our posting gets placed on Indeed for others to see and then updates us on when people have filled out the application. It then lets us contact the applicant and take them through different stages of the interview process.

Very seldemly we will get an applicant that doesnt have a resume attached to them even though it is marked as required.

They make it an easy one way stop to track applicants and where they are in the interview stage. It sends out our application to multiple locations and we can allocate extra advertizing from one location with one payment.

**What do you like best about AvaHR?**

The ATS itself is easy to use with clean smooth navigation.  Once I post my open job it gets kicked out to many sites so we get maximum exposure to our jobs.  I love that I get an email with each applicant that includes their resume. In addition to the great product, the team is phenomenal.  Ryan and Marissa have always been there to address any concerns or questions.

**What do you dislike about AvaHR?**

I would like to find a smoother way to move between candidates resumes when I am in the ATS, but that is not a huge deterrent.

They are allowing me to track all of my candidates in one easy to use site.

Ease of use. Very intuitive and not unecessarily complicated. Really simple to setup and start using. Qucik support from team via chat if you need assistance.

When updating certain settings after posting, such as the hiring team for the job, it has to go through the review process again. Would like to see certain updates not require the review/reposting process.

**What do you like best about AvaHR?**

I work for a small organization as the sole recruiter, and in this case, VivaHR is simple and easy to use. It's easy to create job postings and have applicants populate in the ATS. It's easy to customize your own pipelines and disposition candidates. It was important that our ATS linked to BambooHR which we use for onboarding, and VivaHR has an easy integration for that. My Account Manager is easy to reach and is super helpful when I have questions about the product.

**What do you dislike about AvaHR?**

One thing that is difficult is the search feature. I often search a candidate's name and they don't populate because they have been dispositioned. I then have to change the filters to allow me to see dispositioned candidates but I wish they would always populate. VivaHR also doesn't seem to notice duplicate candidates, so I unfortunately have a lot of duplicate profiles in the system. I wish it would keep track of all applications within one candidate profile instead of creating a new profile for every time a candidate applies to a new role. This also makes it difficult to keep track of notes when I have to try to find my notes on a candidate but there's a profile for them for each role they've applied to. I also wish I had the ability to edit and/or delete a note.

Our business didn't have an ATS system prior to VivaHR so it has helped us organize our candidates and applicants and keep track of who we've spoken to and have a place to keep all candidate resumes.

**What do you like best about AvaHR?**

VivaHR is a great all around solution for companies that do continuous or frequent hiring of professionals.  It is relatively easy to use.  It includes ways to brand yourself as an employer.  Cost effective for those who have multiple job openings, frequent openings, or for continuous hiring.

**What do you dislike about AvaHR?**

I was not pleased to learn that pausing a job was not the same a pausing the account.  We ended up paying for the account for many months after no longer using it.  If we were notified each month, by email, that the monthly charge was being processed, we could have cleared it up sooner.

We are no longer using Viva HR

Posts on multilple services to give us the right cadidates and a broad pool to choose from. Very easy to use and duplicate as well as team implementation is quite easy to integrate into our day to day process.

The dashboard is a little cumbersome and could be more streamlined.

**What do you like best about AvaHR?**

I liked that it was very easy to implement. It took very little time for it to integrate to Linkedin and Indeed. I also like that you can customize so many settings, and that the system is really easy to use. Even my managers like using it!

**What do you dislike about AvaHR?**

Sometimes the integration gets a little lost, and takes some work, but my account manager has been helpful.

Google Calendar integration. This is in testing mode, and will be very helpful soon!

VIVA HR makes it simple to post a job on multiple platforms for a reasonable cost.

**What do you dislike about AvaHR?**

Rating each applicant takes a couple clicks that I feel like could be consolidated to the screen where you are reading the resume.  Font size on some resumes come through too small. Need to download to make readable in some cases.

**What problems is AvaHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking applicants over time, quickly able to go back and look at star ratings given to past applicants. Shows you if someone has previously applied and when they applied. Can also see at a quick glance which applicants haven't been reviewed yet.  Also makes it easy to share resumes with other team members and get their ratings / opinions.

**What do you like best about AvaHR?**

We love the customizable options it provides. It has allowed our office to make a job posting that attracts more qualified candidates. It also integrates extremely easy with Indeed, which is the main platform in which we receive applicants. We are a fast growing dental office and are frequently using this platform to post open jobs. It is extremely easy to use, and their customer support are quick to respond when we've had questions.

There really isn't anything that we do not like!

It solves the issue of time wasted that was created when using Indeed directly. It is beneficial due to it posting the open position on multiple platforms.

I have been using VivaHR for just over a week. I really like the product so far. It's easy to use and has resolved the problems/ issues we had with Indeed at a low cost. The best part of VivaHR so far, has been the support from the sales/ customer support team. They have been extremely helpful and are great at following up!

Some of the job posting fields could have more options. For example, I mention to the sales rep that manufacturing wasn't listed  as an option in the industry field; they added it within a day.

Solved the issues we were having with Indeed job positings at a low cost.

I wish the website made it easier to post a simple job posting. There's at least 10 different things I have to input and think about adding which isn't beneficial for the job I am posting.

**What do you like best about AvaHR?**

I like the visual appearance of the job posting as well as the ability to add a questionnaire for candidates to fill out so we can screen them. There is quite a bit of options to be able to add as well but as a small business with only 2 hiring managers, it fits our needs without being as expensive as the competitors. We can easily screen cadidates, move them through the stages from applicant to hired, and we can add notes as well. We also like that VivaHR integrates with Gusto so we can export candidates there.

**What do you dislike about AvaHR?**

I would like the ability to make questionnaires required for candidates, as many of them do not fill out the questionnaire. Also, when we are emailed about a new candidate, we click to view them and it logs us into the dashboard instead of going straight to the candidate. This company has some smoothing out to do from a logistical side of using the actual platform but they are small things that they seem to be working on a little at a time.

Helping us advertise our positions across various platforms, gathering information, resumes, questionnaires, and helping us communicate with candidates and track them across the hiring process.

It's a very easy process for job posting. Very quick and efficient review process and gives your jobs lots of visibility to different platforms.

It's not easy to view the applicants contact information and resume at the same time, they're often on two seperate pages. Also the volume of applicants is very low, however, you get what you pay for!

I wish there were more video tutorials explaining how to use VIVA HR. Somtimes I don't understand what a button means or how to perform a task. I also would really appreciate it if y'all could make notes on what features will notify applicants. Sometimes I'm nervous to try a feature because I'm afraid it may automatically tell an applicant that I labeled them as "tardy" or that their profile got rejected.

VivaHR is easy and convenient.  I just wish there was an easier way to sponsor posts you need to hire for most urgently.

We no longer need to manage postings on several different platforms.  It's so convenient to manage the posting in one place and still reach all the candidates we would get to if we posted on 10+ of the largest platforms.

The software is very easy to use and I like that it posts my job listing to multiple job listing sites, leveraging key search words to show up in search results. I've had great success in sourcing candidates and have been able to manage them very easily within the system.

I wish there were some additional features like asynchronous video interviews.

I have to source candidates for production and sales roles on a semi-regular basis. VivaHR has been really great at sourcing these candidates.

**What do you like best about AvaHR?**

VivaHR is one the most amazing things that has ever happened to our business. I'm a Dental Office Manager and was so overwhelmed with taking on the responsibilites of hiring new employees throughout the year, on top of everything else that I manage. VivaHR has made it so easy to hire great candidates from start to finish. Seriously. Their software helped me manage the entire lifecycle of the hiring process from creating the perfect job listing, posting the job to all the main job boards, managing applicants, and even sending out the job offer. It truly is an all-in-one system. It was also super easy to use! Simple, yet elegant at the same time. I have been using VivaHR for about 6 months now and it has helped me hire 4 amazing employees for our Dental Office!

**What do you dislike about AvaHR?**

Functionality wise I don't have any dislikes but in the beginning there were some issues logging in when I first created my account but their customer support got back to me literally within 2 minutes and got it all situated.

They are helping me solve our hiring process. I have so many other repsonsibilites as a manger in my office and the way we had our hiring process set up was taking away from excelling in my other duties. It has benefited me beyond measure. This platform was better than expected. It is a good price for what its worth. The auto templates are helpful when writing emails and making job postings. I also like the questionnaire addition to the job posting, it helps narrow down candidates faster.

I don't have a downside. It would be nice if there was an option to auto search words to flag resumes, but even without that it is great.

VivaHR is easy to use, and I love the number of features. I also love how easy it is to automatically integrate one ad into many different job boards.

**What do you dislike about AvaHR?**

The only thing I dislike about VivaHR is the time it takes for a job to post. I am in Central Time Zone, but if my ad is not posted by 4 or 5pm EST on Friday, the job will not be reviewed or posted until Monday at the soonest. I find that the majority of applicants come within the first 3 or 4 days of a job being posted, and the weekend always yields better results than weekedays. Because of this, I prefer to post ads on Friday and go through resumes and schedule interviews on Mondays. However, if I get busy on Friday, I only have until around 3pm CT to post the ad for it to be up over the weekend. Really I have to do it by 12pm on Friday so there is time for the ad to be reviewed and posted.

VivaHR is easier to use than Indeed in terms of posting ads, which has been a business problem in the past. Also, VivaHR's pricing is simplier and easier to understand than Indeed. The applicant tracking system has saved time when it comes to logging applicants' names and status.

VivaHR can be an entry point for small businesses, and VivaHR has the flexibility to grow with your company.  As you expand, you can expand your membership to fit your needs.

**What do you dislike about AvaHR?**

Less of a dislike but a recommendation for the development pipeline: add the ability to house contact information similar to a CRM.  CRM embedded in an ATS is becoming a valuable tool for HR Pros who want to optimize all their contacts, whether through job posts or talent, where our contact is their email and phone.

**What problems is AvaHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With one click, I access multiple job sites.  Also, the cost is very low compared to other solutions.
