I dislike the screen recorder. It is hard to maintain a stable build when the html coding is dynamic. when the recorder is unable to reasd a static url the bot crashes resulting in an unreliaable build

I have recently moved to A2019 Cloud version, previously I have worked on other versions of Automation Anywhere. Automation Anywhere is one of the most convenient and useful RPA Tool as compared to the others in the market. Automation Anywhere offers you a wide range of commands to automate nearly every application ( Web Based or Windows Application). Email automation, Excel automation, Object Cloning, PDF Integration, App integration, Web services are some of the listed commands. Automation Anywhere ensures the client data security by not letting the sensitive Login credentials out in the open. There are dedicated Credential Vault feature in the Application which holds all the Login credentials without letting it visible even to the developers and there are features such as PGP which helps to encrypt and decrypt the files. The best part of Automation Anywhere is its interactive Control Room Dashboard, which gives the insight of almost everything out there. one can see the status of all the deployed task in the production along with the audit log details. The introduction of the Workload balance feature in 11.X version has made the job of load balancing much easier. Moving on to the A2019 Cloud version, there are lots of changes in this new version of Automation Anywhere as compared to its previous versions like 11.X. The look and feel got entirely changed along with many of the new commands and the existing commands also got modified. v11 vs A2019 which is complete changeover of the architecture where organizations think before migrating. People might opt for other competitive tools which won't let this changeover happen example UIPath or Blueprism.

Most notably, automation is very easy to build and handle bots. Web automation and Excel automation in particular are made very straightforward. From basic bots to complicated bots, we can build any bot in no time. You don't have to be an expert in programming to build automation processes that allow users with limited experience to grow their robots, maybe the method I use the most and consider the speed at which you can create a bot through their commands and gui. Metabot reliability and consistency are the best thing about this RPA and make it the best device in the industry, it has choices to work with. It is a cost-effective programme, designed for big corporations who can pay for permits, it doesn't mean that it's evil, but I believe it reduces the need for the automation of their enterprises for small businesses. They have a control room in the development and programming that I had to use to perform it correctly. In my view, the documentation is much less helpful. I would really appreciate some AA or documentation support if I got lost on something when designing the bot. I like to use Python to integrate more in this language of programming. It is easy to use, easy to understand, and easy to automate the processes with Drag Drop functionality.

I mostly like the functionality of Metabot which makes AA more scalar, robust, reusable, and can be used to automate a wide variety of applications (SAP, web application, windows application, outlook, excel). It supports running Jave script and vbs.

It has fewer features for excel and email automation commands and sometimes object cloning doesn't work properly. Debugging feature is not much enhanced. It has less variable type and so we face issues with dates and numbers format. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In Automation anywhere, I mostly fond of IQ bot where bot can learn by doing alotted work , later it comes to meta bot, where we can write scripts to automate sequence of complex, scalable process steps in a single application window.

It has built in machine learning capabilities as well as natural language processing, which will help to read pdf's and image processing to read data from images also.

Any novice user, who spends some time can learn easily, such a well organized tool. Built in tools for API's and FTP's.

Installing automation anywhere server and client is a bit complex and difficult job to do. Reading hand written documents and scanned pdfs are difficult even to a IQbot, the resultant data is not accurate.

when compare to other RPA tools, debugging mode is poorly functional. in blue prism its very nice and you have full control over the code in a debugging mode.

while running in a debugging mode, variables don't store values of current debug run, to check the result always need to use message box to check.

Automation anywhere stands ahead compared to other RPA tools because of Meta bot and IQ BOt which helps us to automate PDF and Image Documents.

The interface is user-friendly and good.

Easy recording options are available, which are very useful.

Less coding required.
