"Great, Easy to Use Event App - Lots of Potential"
What do you like best about EventUp Planner (formerly Attendease)?

My colleagues and I have used many event platforms over the years. Attendease is one of the most user-friendly for building event sites. Due to complexity, only one or two of the staff knew how to use the past platforms. With Attendease, it's simple enough that any staff person can stand up an event page and add to or edit the event details, registration, schedules, etc. Moving the event between in-person, hybrid, or virtual is also simple as the needs change.

Also, our attendees seem to like it. We've used some platforms where even registering for an event was difficult. It's the opposite with Attendease. Our attendees can quickly register and get access to the content and information they need easily and right away.

For us, we pay one annual fee, and we get to run an unlimited number of events from Attendease. Whether it's a small event of 20 people or a large conference of 1000, we can host them all from one central platform.

Their support team is also very responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EventUp Planner (formerly Attendease)?

Attendease isn't as full-featured as other platforms, especially regarding in-person/hybrid events. For example, there's no on-site walk-up or on-demand badge printing at the event. Instead, we must print and organize all the badges before the event. That's a lot of bulk that we have to ship. Further, there's no "one-click" feature to do batch badge printing from Attendease. We have to export the attendee list, mail-merge them into a Word or Publisher template, proof everything, and then print.

If you have complex ticking procedures/rules, that can also be a pain point, though simple ticketing should be no problem. It would also be nice if the system could generate unique, one-time use discount codes. With Attendease, we have to manage many discount codes to ensure they aren't being shared and used outside their intended use.

Many other more mature platforms have these and other standard features built in. It would be nice to see these in Attendease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Michael Cawston-Stewart of EventUp Planner (formerly Attendease)

Hi Giles!

Thanks for taking the time to put together an honest review of Attendease for G2.

We're very glad to hear you and your team are finding the application easy to use, that your attendees are finding it effective, and that our support team is doing such a great job keeping your work flow flowing!

We hear your desire for more complexity with discounting and/or pass management, and regarding pass printing. We're always happy to talk with our users regarding parts of the application we could strengthen. If your customer success manager hasn't already reached out to you about this, please contact them! They'll want to talk with you
