What do you like best about Arctera Backup Exec?

Veritas Backup Exec alows us to quickly and effectively backup critical systems to external drives. This allows us to restore files and systems in the case of disaster or accidental deletion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arctera Backup Exec?

The version we used did not have a native cloud backup option. This left us vulnerable to total data loss in the case of a physical disaster that affected the office where backups were stored. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Arctera Backup Exec?

The product works for the most part as it should. It runs backups and allows me to restore files and/or vm's as necessary. I also use it to run SQL and O365 backups. That part works well. The interface is fairly easy to use, although not as easy as some other products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arctera Backup Exec?

Restoring Office365 items has been a bad experience so far. There is no way to restore to a local pst file, rather you have to restore to an Office 365 account. This takes significant time and expensive resources. Every other backup product I have ever used had this functionality. I like the layout of the different jobs and the reporting you can get on those jobs. If you need to do a restore, the restore process is much more straightforward then many of their competitors Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arctera Backup Exec?

One of the main things I dislike about Veritas Backup Exec is that you have to pay for a different version license even when your license is still valid and hasn't expired
