It does what it does well. Responsive, well thought out, and robust Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Aptean Industrial Manufacturing ERP Traverse Edition? We dropped this software after several years of use. When we first purchased Traverse from OSAS we quickly switched to one of their smaller conglomerates due to many issues directly related to OSAS. Later, Aptean bought OSAS. Aptean then bought the smaller conglomerate just months later. We want no part of OSAS, so we dropped the software. Aptean may be different, but OSAS provided little to no support. There is a healthy initial investment with Traverse City, and to top it off, they charge nearly $1,000 per month for no support, but you get a yearly minor update. Expect a $300 bill showing up in your mailbox for simply emailing their team. Simple issues wouldn’t get fixed and were met with replies such as “Your company doesn’t understand the software” only later to find out there were simple fixes. And instead of helping us understand, we’d be charged thousands with little to nothing to show for it. Training will cost your company around $30,000 to get it off the ground. OSAS actually told us we’d be charged to get a quote from them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Aptean Industrial Manufacturing ERP Traverse Edition: I doubt its possible (because it a huge money maker) but negotiate some technical support that will not set you back thousands everytime you call or email them. You will be paying nearly $1K/month for nothing more than a tax table update and minor bug fixes so try to include it in to that price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. The software itself is decent, but if that is the kind of treatment you like, and you enjoy outdated and expensive products, if you like to feel like you are a hassle or, better yet, a fountain of cash, then OSAS is the company you want to work with. If you have an endless budget, an IT staff devoted to the software, and hours to get simple issues fixed, then this is for you. Again, Aptean may be different, but after dumping a huge sum of cash in the software and being left in the dark with tons of holes to fill, we went with another online product with a great support team, free training, and costs almost 90% less.
