**What do you like best about Alex AI?**

I’ve enjoyed giving candidates the chance to showcase their fit and qualifications for the role beyond what’s on their resume. I also like that it’s fully integrated with our ATS, which makes the data easy to access and search later for future reference.

**What do you dislike about Alex AI?**

Many times, when something is new or unfamiliar, candidates are naturally a bit hesitant. As a result, navigating pushback and resistance from candidates can feel cumbersome at times. I wonder if giving them some sort of visibility into the grading would be helpful, so they can see whether or not they’re qualified after the interview. Maybe it doesn’t need to be too detailed, but some general feedback could go a long way.

**What problems is Alex AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re no longer a black hole for job seekers—every candidate gets a chance to interview for the role they’re applying for. We’re also getting a more complete picture of each candidate’s background captured in Bullhorn, rather than relying only on what’s listed on their resume. We’ve really enjoyed the data enrichment benefit as well.

We use Alex AI for our higher-volume recruiting roles, and it’s been excellent for sorting and filtering large candidate pools. The automated screening saves our team hours each week and helps us prioritize the most relevant candidates faster. A big unexpected benefit has been the consistency in screening criteria, which improves fairness and efficiency across our process.

**What do you dislike about Alex AI?**

While Alex AI is very effective for high-volume screening, it still requires human oversight. Like most AI-driven tools, it can occasionally miss strong candidates with unconventional backgrounds or non-standard resumes, so we treat it as an efficiency tool rather than a replacement for recruiter judgment. Additionally, ongoing configuration and tuning are important to ensure filters align with evolving role requirements and client needs.

Alex AI is solving the challenge of managing constant high-volume candidate flow. For us, it helps with continuous screening and pipeline building, so our recruiters always have qualified candidates in motion without manually reviewing every application. Alex AI has helped me reduce time I personally spend screening candidates. This has helped me free up my workday and Alex's tone and capabilities are so strong, it sometimes feels as if the candidate doesn't even know its AI, thats how genuine and real it sounds.

Currently the issues we are having is with Alex integration into our CRM (Tracker). Although the team has been super responsive with helping us build out these features.

**What problems is Alex AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alex is helping hiring teams reduce the amount of time they spend trying to find the best candidate. Alex will schedule the phone screening, do the interview, and then send the human recruiter a report. This saves me the busy work of trying to gauge a candidate on my own. Now I have the final report with a score identifying if this person is worth my time and that saves me so much time throughout the work day.

I haven’t experienced any downsides while using ALEX AI.

Alex AI is helping us address one of our biggest challenges: evaluating the large volume of candidates we receive. Currently, Alex provides our team with resume fit scores and the capability to interview candidates directly. When an applicant receives a strong score, our recruiters can focus their time on engaging with the most qualified individuals, while Alex pre-vets candidates who may still be a good match but scored slightly lower. This process has made our recruiting efforts significantly more time-efficient and has contributed to higher placement rates.

We have not experienced any downsides.  When we have questions about the product and our configuration, they are quick to help us.

Alex helps our recruiters streamline the applicant review and selection process using its Fit Score technology. Alex AI also helps us pre-screen as many candidates as possible at times convenient for applicants, including after hours. Reports generated after pre-screen interviews include interview scores and summaries of the conversations, helping recruiters narrow their candidate list for client presentation.

**What do you like best about Alex AI?**

Alex is an intelligent AI interviewer. We are impressed with this service and would recommend it. It works better the more you bend and work with it to customize interview kit questions to get the best results to get the best scores for inbound applicants being rated by Alex or taking the interview with Alex. Alex's corporate team takes our feedback really well and implements it immediately into their roadmap to fit our needs as s staffing firm.

**What do you dislike about Alex AI?**

Alex is building the plane while flying it, like most tech and AI startups so you have to be patient, work through issues as a team, collaborate with them and tell your users that they will have the give the product time to get to the best place it can be so its most effective. We have a low conversion rate of candidates that take the AI interview, not the Alex's fault, we are a bit early to the game of AI interviewing, but in a few years time, the job application world will probably have every candidate prescreened through AI and it will become more common. The training/implementation/adoption help of the tool could have been stronger, we leaned heavily on our internal trainer to help us roll it out.

**What problems is Alex AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alex helps our recruiters sort through the noise of all the candidates that apply in that are not qualified, not hirable, qualified but for a different job/client and hirable. It puts the better candidates infront of the recruiter faster so a recruiter doesnt have to manually sift through inbound applicants one by one to find the diamond in the pile! Alex helps us prescreen and also do some fraud detecting as that is an increasingly important issue staffing firms and corporatiosn deal with due to the North Korea Scam.

What really stood out is that Alex does not replace recruiters. It makes strong recruiters better. The platform helps us increase candidate throughput while maintaining quality. It gives our team structured, job relevant insight before a human conversation even begins. That saves time, improves submission quality, and allows our recruiters to focus on relationship building, client strategy, and closing.

We have seen measurable improvements in speed to submission, candidate engagement, and overall workflow efficiency. More importantly, our recruiters trust it. That was the true test.

**What do you dislike about Alex AI?**

There is nothing much to dislike. Alex often makes changes and updates to the platform without letting the user base know.

**What problems is Alex AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have seen measurable improvements in speed to submission, candidate engagement, and overall workflow efficiency. More importantly, our recruiters trust it. That was the true test. Alex adds real leverage allowing us to engage candidates faster, gather meaningful insights, and create consistency in our early stage evaluation without sacrificing the human element that matters in recruiting.

**What do you like best about Alex AI?**

I use it mostly to build test candidates knowledge in the technical areas that we need. I build questionnaires with progressing levels of difficulty, and the AI is able to adapt and skip tougher questions if the candidate is unable to answer simpler questions. It makes it easier and faster for me to review their answers and check if they are reading from a prompt or answering truthfully.

**What do you dislike about Alex AI?**

I have two main complaints. The first is that interviews can feel very fast paced. If the candidate needs a minute or two to think about an answer, they usually don't get it. Alex prompts the user immediately after less than 10 seconds to ask if they are still there. That can be very distracting and annoying. Secondly, the pacing of the voice can feel quite unnatural. I have noticed many situations in which Alex took weird pauses in the middle of a question that make it sound like the prompt ended when it hadn't, yet.

**What problems is Alex AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's making it easier and quicker for us to sift through candidates that are just spamming the market for positions. Those are typically not good fits for our small business.

User-friendly and very customizable with our ATS. The workflow was easy to set up, and it took very little time to tailor it to fit our recruiting process. Overall, it’s been a good addition to the team.

I wouldn’t say there’s anything to dislike, but I’d love to see it keep a history for returning candidates and provide a better experience if they’re interviewing again with Alex (aka Raya).

It’s giving our recruiters time back so they can effectively soft-close the right candidates for the job. Alex has also been able to prep candidates based on the rules we set, so they’re ready for client interviews.

Great product.  The AI is very humanlike.  The support team is very responsive.  The integration with Bullhorn is great.  The team, all the way up to the founder are generally interested in your feedback and suggestions.

**What do you dislike about Alex AI?**

The lack of participation by the candidate base.  (currently running in the mid 20% levels). I think it will take some time until the candidate base is generally accustomed to interviewing with an AI Agent.

Considerably more interviews resulting in the capability for recruiters to get to the best candidates quickly vs. recruiters weeding through a pile of incoming candidates or a large list of candidates from search results.

I think that the Automated AI interview capability allows us to provide a standardized way to interview candidates and have all candidates on a level playing field since they are asked the same questions. Also, it streamlines the interview process by wedding out candidates so that interviewers can save time by just reviewing their Alex AI interview data and making an informed decision ion asto whether to continue to the next steps in our interview process.

If there are system issues, I can reach out the their support team via email but they are not responsive in real time. It may take a few hours to have the issues resolved. Also, there is no telephone support.

There isn’t anything I dislike or see as a downside. That said, there’s an opportunity for Alex AI to ask deeper follow-up questions and more critically assess candidates. It has improved over time, and I’m confident it will continue to get better.

Alex AI is solving a major bottleneck in our interview process and benefits us as identifying the right candidates quicker while also providing a more engaged and faster process for our candidates.

Cheating detection is not always accurate. I also wish they could automatically blur the background of the video interviews since the candidates don't always know how to do it

I love how easy it is to add job descriptions. The process is logical and user-friendly, and Alex always interprets my notes accurately.

**What do you dislike about Alex AI?**

If I were to change anything, I’d make the auto-reject process a bit easier to use, and, whenever possible, include more specific feedback for candidates.

**What problems is Alex AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alex AI is helping our team move quicker, be more accurate, and (my favorite!) allowing us to be more human in our conversations with candidates.  Instead of "how many years of java do you have?" I get to ask things like "tell me about a project you're really proud of" and hear candidates light up - because I know Alex has already checked the basic boxes.

Cuts down on the logistical workload of a recruiter! More time evaluating candidates, less time scheduling etc

At the end of the day, the human judgment needed to truly identify the right candidates is difficult to replicate.

It's easy to use and advanced in Interview instruction. It has an intuitive design, accurate responses, a strong privacy focus, wide functionality, ethical AI, and seamless integrations.

**What do you dislike about Alex AI?**

It is a little bit Costly, and Apriora AI could include a poor user interface, inaccurate responses, privacy concerns, limited functionality, ethical issues, and integration challenges.

Efficiency, automation of tasks, data organization, personalized insights, and 24/7 accessibility, lead to increased productivity and informed decision-making.
