It needs a long time of learning to flexibly use him, and his permission control requirements are very high. I truly appreciate the flexibility and value that BigPicture offers, especially in the context of the financial sector. It has allowed us to abandon traditional tools like Microsoft Project and use Gantt charts and the flexibility of Jira for more centralized and efficient project management. It is very easy to set up, practically plug and play, which makes it easy for anyone to start benefiting from it without much initial knowledge. It is extremely powerful thanks to BigPicture boxes that allow information to be grouped at multiple levels, reducing cognitive load and helping to manage more than 800 projects online. I highly value the functionality of the Gantt chart, which is quite comprehensive, and the ability to manage individual capacity including schedule and vacation planning, as well as automated alerts to prevent work overload. The combination of BigPicture with Jira and Google Calendar seems to me an unbeatable solution for managing waterfall-type projects, which would definitely encourage me to recommend it. Finally, the use of the BigPicture API has allowed us to perform automations and offer customized solutions, which is tremendously beneficial for our operations. This plugin used to be problematic, buggy and slowing our instance down. However over the last couple of years it has become reliable, to the point now where it has become a critical part of our project management approach. When our PMO was established, we experimented with various app options in the Jira environment to find a suitable solution for reporting. BigPicture stood out due to its clear interface and integration of Gantt chart. The timelines can be displayed in an organized manner, which enhances the presentation. It is also convenient to adjust the dates on the charts. The information on the entries can be instantly updated to reflect on the Jira side as well. The infrastructure is stable, allowing us to rely on it for our daily work.

The support provided by the team has been tremendous, with my tickets being handled overnight. The technicians guided me in identifying and resolving the core issues.

For our organization currently, we primarily use the Overview page to distinguish the reports from various departments. However, there are certain fields in that view that are not connected to Jira, so we are only able to create customized fields.

BigPicture & BigPicture Enterprise really levels up Jira when it comes to project management and project planning. Many users can benefit from features like the Scope or Resource modules that can really provide a good overview if implemented correctly. BigPicture is an amazing tool for project planning and project and portfolio management at an enterprise level. Its integration with JIRA helps to track the entire delivery in a clear and concise manner. It provides Gantt, Scope and Board view of all the projects that are being worked on. It also helps to manage risks and issues and provides a summary picture to Senior Managers on status and timelines of projects through comprehensive reporting.
