**What do you like best about Sage AR Automation?**

The thing I like most about Lockstep is the people.  Everyone I have worked with so far has been very friendly and attentive, and my issues and questions have been addressed promptly.  Lockstep has excellent customer service.

The feature I like the most is the automated reminder notices, which allows our collectors to make phone calls instead of sending emails. Phone calls are an opportunity to develop relationships with our customers. In turn, our customers are more likely to pay our company over other vendors because they value the business relationship. The Lockstep platform allows the admin to create rules to generate activities. It is very user-friendly from an admin and a credit user perspective.

**What do you dislike about Sage AR Automation?**

We dislike having to use a third-party merchant vendor for our credit card and ACH Payments.  We want to switch merchant vendors, but the options are limited. Finding a merchant vendor to meet all of our business needs has been difficult.

**What problems is Sage AR Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lockstep has acknowledged our need for more options for merchant vendors, and they are developing a solution. I have realized that one of the benefits of doing business with Lockstep is that they listen to their clients and work diligently to provide solutions that work for us.

**What do you like best about Sage AR Automation?**

I like the automated reminders set up to help make contact with all open accounts that you may not have time in your day to address! I also like the reporting aspects and customized reporting you can pull with this application!

**What do you dislike about Sage AR Automation?**

I dislike unpaying customers but know there is a reason they are not paying their balance. These collection tools help to develop reason codes and visibility to collections issues!!! I have no dislike of Lockstep or their support!

**What problems is Sage AR Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My DSO has greatly decreased after implementing automated dunning letters and statement reminders.
We are looking into the payment automation features through their customer portal implementation

**What do you like best about Sage AR Automation?**

Help me to organize and prioritize accounts. Where before I kept all my records in excel with formulas to track what I had done, now Lockstep Collect does a lot of the heavy lifting for me. I noticed a huge difference in me ability to stay on top of accounts with the automatic reminders, which prompts me to call or e-mail those particular clients.

**What do you dislike about Sage AR Automation?**

The email feature needs work, it's a little archaic. However, Lockstep has been nothing but helpful with addressing any issues.

**Recommendations to others considering Sage AR Automation:**

If you and your team are having any issues keeping up with your receivables I would recommend Lockstep Collect as superior accounts receivable solution.

**What problems is Sage AR Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Takes care of the small menial tasks for me, so I can concentrate on those tough accounts. Days Sales Outstanding has dropped significantly since implementing Lockstep Collect. My initial process for collections was ‘archaic’. I used Excel to create AR aging reports and keep notes of which clients I contacted. This often-left room for error or missed accounts. Things would get pushed down the list or entirely ignored because they either didn’t owe as much as others or they just got lost along the way. With Lockstep Collect a lot of this is taken care of automatically.

**What do you like best about Sage AR Automation?**

The ability to send invoices and reminders on time, and to verify that it has happened. We don't have any issues where a client doesn't pay simply because they haven't received the invoice. The administration of the system is also quite easy, and if any issues do arise, Lockstep support is always very responsive and quick to help.

**What do you dislike about Sage AR Automation?**

The client portal is very useful, but there is some confusion over which browsers are supported.

**Recommendations to others considering Sage AR Automation:**

I highly recommend Lockstep. We made the decision to automate with Lockstep a couple of years ago and have been very happy with the decision, especially considering all the disruption the world has experienced in 2020.

**What problems is Sage AR Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to centralize the distribution of invoices and periodic reminders. This has reduced A/R aging, improved cash flow, saved admin and manger time on following up on unpaid invoices, and increased visibility into true credit risks. We are able to focus our efforts on adding value for our clients.

Automated invoice and statement email. Portal for customers to see their invoices.

Not being compatible with Safari has been a big issue with our customers.

We are seeing faster turn around on payments. Not having to rely on the mail has been a big benefit.

There are too many steps to complete one action -- the navigation is a little clunky.

My team does not have to spend as much time reviewing our open aging and emailing customers individually.  This is down automatically, so this is a huge time saver.

Lockstep has automated our AR and allowed us to go from 99 days DSO to a DSO of less than 60 in less than a year.

Right now it is super easy to accept credit cards through the portal, would like for ACH to be just as seamless.

Lockstep has unlocked cash for us and allowed us to focus on running our business rather than on cash flow.

**What do you like best about Sage AR Automation?**

Anytime collect's email automation is my absolute favorite feature. It has significantly helped streamline our collections process and reduced the average number of accounts past due. The software also maintains a well-organized history for each customer account including any collection attempts, past payments, special notes, and responses from customers. Version 4 was just released and I am loving the new sidebar menu that provides simple and efficient navigation to many of the software’s features. 

**What do you dislike about Sage AR Automation?**

There is really nothing notable that I dislike. When issues do occur, ATC's customer service makes resolving it a top priority. They have a support chat available during regular business hours, that makes the entire process effortless. 

**Recommendations to others considering Sage AR Automation:**

Setting up your automated emails is key to getting the most out of this software. The customer service staff is fantastic, so be sure to reach out to them anytime you need assistance. 

**What problems is Sage AR Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Anytime Collect has significantly cut down on the time that I need to spend on collection activities. Its automation is a huge time-saver and I would be lost without their organizational tools. I would highly recommend it to any business looking to reduce their past due accounts.

**What do you like best about Sage AR Automation?**

The ability to manage and customize collection efforts in a clear and organized way.  Providing customers a way that they can view their account details, get pdf invoice copies and even make payments without contacting us directly has freed up the time spent on collections efforts.

One of the newest features is an optional sidebar which can make maneuvering thru the menus easier and even provides a quick history of accounts viewed.

Another new feature gives the customer options on how they want to export a given report.

We are excited to hear there are future plans to hopefully make the customer portal a bit more self-serving so less efforts need to be made by the individual collectors.

**What do you dislike about Sage AR Automation?**

For the customer a few types of transactions are not intuitive such as paying in advance or taking advantage of a credit on their account so you may need to help them understand how the system works.  For a few of our customers this has been a topic where they have expressed they would prefer to not use the customer portal.

Just a preference but in the newest version the pdf icon used seems to be a little less noticeable than previous versions (ex. lack of colors used).

**Recommendations to others considering Sage AR Automation:**

If you are looking to make the switch from manual collections efforts to systematic efforts this software is a must have.

Be prepared for the initial setup to be a bit of a learning curve, but don't let that be a deterrent.  After the initial setup it's not long before you see significant results due to the software's efforts.  

**What problems is Sage AR Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since making the switch to Anytime Collect:

- We have significantly improved our DSO.  

- The quantity of issues that are significantly past due has greatly decreased, so we are better suited to devote our time to areas that have been neglected previously.

- We utilize the ability for multiple users to see notes made on previous issues and the resulting efforts that have been made.

All your customers credit is so easily visible.  The collection feature for contacting customers is so intuitive.  You can send an email to a customer and attach a statement, invoice within seconds.  Using the follow up feature is a huge plus and you'll never miss making the very important collection follow ups.

**What do you dislike about Sage AR Automation?**

The only thing I don't care for is the issue set up process for any mail that goes into your unfiled mailbox.  I would love to be able to create an issue from the email and be able to change the description of the issue.  

**What problems is Sage AR Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Benefits are absolutely being that you will see how easily it is to handle collections and credit for all your customers in one place.  We have seen a significant decrease in our aging due to the intuitiveness of Anytime collect.

The automatic email reach outs to clients let's our collections team to focus on responses and research instead of manually sending out email reminders.  The scheduling of human touch reach outs helps our collections team know where they should focus.  

**What do you dislike about Sage AR Automation?**

Performance is sometimes slow, but I know they're working on that.  Since the merger there have been a few hiccups in buggy releases, but they're also working on that and the last one was more stable.  

**Recommendations to others considering Sage AR Automation:**

Get to understand how scheduled actions work as quickly as possible.  This was a learning curve for the team because you can't edit a scheduled action, you create a new communication from it.

Automation of our email reach outs has had a huge impact.  In the first year of using ATC, our AR Over 60 Days improved by 40%!

This is a program that offers the best of collection technology.  The automation of the collection processes has improved our ability to efficiently and effectively collect our AR.  The elimination of manual emails, the ability to imput and track collection contacts has reduced our DSO and allowed us to easily meet our collection goals.

I would like to see a real time environment.  Currently the program only updates data once a day.

Don't wait on implementing this software.  It's a great value.

We are able to make initial collection contacts automatically which frees up time to work on the problems.  The ability to track and easily respond to disputes, resulting in a faster resolution.  Customers also have the ability to see their statements and download invoices, making their job easier.

**What do you like best about Sage AR Automation?**

Anytime Collect offers so much to the collection industry.  It can automate emails and responses and include individual links to customers' accounts so they can even manager their own open receivables.  It is easy to assign accounts to collectors and to design collection plans and tasks so that each account received the right level of attention.

**What do you dislike about Sage AR Automation?**

The only downside to ATC  is that it does require some ramp-up time for employees and this kind of additional training can really strain already overworked departments.  The upshot of all this is that with the increased automation with ATC, the future will always be better than the past collection procedures.

It is a serious upgrade over almost any competitor's collection software.

**What problems is Sage AR Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We solved the issue of dealing with acquisition account receivables which can overwhelm a department when loaded all at once.  With ATC it is possible to handle an influx of accounts with ease by sending automated email collection messages with payment links so that many accounts can be handled without direct collector interaction.

There is no mobile app currently, it would be great to have some visibility through the mobile device.

ATC has consolidated our communications and A/R management into one system.  This has greatly increased our efficiency.  Also, the communication templates and automation have reduced the amount of manual work that needed to be done.  The implementation and support staff have been excellent.

Since it is a web based program we sometimes see slow downs of the website.

The ability to customize the software to fit our specific business needs, as well as customize our customer's dashboard.
Communication Templates are easily customizable and customer response time has significantly increased.

Recent upgrades and improvements have resolved past concerns and made the program much easier to use for Admins and customers.

**What do you like best about Sage AR Automation?**

No longer using spreadsheets and handwritten notes for collections! Anytime Collect has made it super easy with the automation of collection emails, the capability to maintain notes. Our customers love the self-service ability to retrieve their statement and invoices, as well as, pay with credit card through Anytime Collect. The ATC team is constantly looking to improve their software and values their customer's feedback.

**What do you dislike about Sage AR Automation?**

There is a bit of a learning curve especially during setup, however you do have access to a very knowledge team that is always willing to train and assist. There is also a great resource of online video tutorials and they have monthly training webinars as well.

**What problems is Sage AR Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Anytime Collect has helped us greatly improve our DSO. It's also such a time saver. For me, it's much faster and easier to send invoices/statements to our customer through ATC than through our ERP system. I also like that anyone with the proper access can easily see all of my notes on a customer's account, should any question arises. ATC allows me to focus my attention on other issues now that some tasks are now automated.

**What do you like best about Sage AR Automation?**

I like how easy it is to make scheduled calls and keep track of were you are at in the collection process with each customer. You have everything for each customer in one convent location, invoices, payments, payment plans, emails, everything!

**What do you dislike about Sage AR Automation?**

Sometimes the system does have glitches, but what technology doesn't. It can also be slow at times so when I am on the phone at the time it can be challenging. 

**What problems is Sage AR Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our average days to collect has gone down significantly and that is due to how easy it is to keep track of calls and days past due with the system. Auto-Emails being generated by Anytime collect have not only helped customers with paying invoices but saved the company so much time.

**What do you like best about Sage AR Automation?**

I like that everything is noted in one place.  There is no longer a need to copy and past emails from Outlook into the ERP for everyone to see.  I love that we can organize automated efforts and easily edit them as things change with our aging.  Additonally. the team at ATC makes it easy to ask questions and quickly replies to all concerns.  My day revolves 80% around utilizing this system; knowing the support is there and that our concerns/needs are taken seriously make this product a definite win. 

**What do you dislike about Sage AR Automation?**

I only one have one dislike and that has to do with the inability to copy and paste an image into my emails.  In order to send a screenshot of information, the user must paste it into a word/excel document and then attach.  There are times I want that image to be right there to see without opening an attachment.  All too often a customer will say they never received it, or they are skimming an email and don't take the time to review anything that isn't "in their face". 

**Recommendations to others considering Sage AR Automation:**

Implementing Anytime Collect to handle our collections workflow was a very east process. The team at ATC is very supportive and makes themselves available to answer any questions regardless of where in the process you are.  This software offers the ability to categorize receivables without the need to create additional reports within your current ERP. 

**What problems is Sage AR Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use ATC to organize all of our collections efforts. The software has assisted in our ability to contact any customer with a past due balance with their automated notices. Additionally, we have been able to segregate portfolios and then adjust as necessary to manage workflow.  ATC makes this process easy and efficient while also saving time.

I like that when I have something I need help with that Anytime Collect is there to help right on the spot.

I would really like a printed manual. There is an on line help that you can print out. But I would like everything in a printout so I can make my notes.

This software will help automate your Accounts Receivables. You will have more time to do other things. You will know each day who you need to contact and what action you need to take. Makes like easier. Great Customer Service. Always ready to help with anything you need. Great Company !!

What I like the best, is the ability to automatize processes and supervise my agents work. As well, the dashboard offers a clear view of the Receivables to make the right strategic desicions

I really like everything, since if I dislike something I talk to the developers and fix it in the next release.

**Recommendations to others considering Sage AR Automation:**

If you want to reduce your DSO and have an "extra Agent" working 24/7, Anytime Collect is your best choice.

We have over 3000 customers to be contacted in a certain period of time and ATC does the first contacts like I have 2 more agents working for me.

We use this to send out Open invoice statements to dealers every 10 days as well as month end statements.  We see an increase in payments after we sent the open invoice report out

sometimes a little slow switching from one items to another

no problems at this time.  Any time there is a problem, they are very quick to respond.  The benefit is being able to send out the bulk notifications with current statements attached with little or no effort

**What do you like best about Sage AR Automation?**

Highly customizable software solution that should work with almost any business model. Also very responsive/knowledgeable customer service and onboarding support; top-in-class sales and support team. They even worked with us to create the Intacct integration as well. Unfortunately, we are only really using the automated email workflow as that was the most pressing need for us and as you can see below, the rest of the product wasn't up to speed with our needs.

**What do you dislike about Sage AR Automation?**

The hosted version of this product is fairly slow which makes the email workflow basically useless - workflow is about 4x slower than just using gmail so we haven't been able to use any of the email or event tracking or team management features. Their analytics are mostly useless too as they are not flexible and frankly too ugly to share with anyone except junior staff. Probably lower 5% of all UI/UX that exists in the market today (think 2003 salesforce). Also, they could really use a re-occurring payment feature for our customers' payment portal. However, what can't be figured out intuitively through design is easily handled by their very competent support team.

If you want to go with an established player to help improve collections, Anytime Collect is the solution for you. If you are interested in working with startups who may be more innovative in terms of ease of use and features, there are a few other players out there worth looking into.

**What problems is Sage AR Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sending reminder emails to customers is very tedious and manual without software like Anytime Collect. After about 100 invoices a month, you are certainly losing money by not investing in collections management software. We are using the automated emails that include links to invoices with payment portal. Through revamping our collections policies and practices, including using ATC, we cut our DSO in half, with our best DSO only a couple days beyond our average terms.

I love that Anytime Collect was able to filter out the accounts that I need to focus on and I was able to set up reports and emails to run automatically.  Was definitely a big time saver!

It's not necessarily a dislike but it took some time getting to know the system and how it works.  I've been using it for almost a year now and I know there are still SO many things that I don't realize it can do.  I've just been focusing on the stuff that I have learned and am slowly branching out and exploring all the other possibilities.

So much information at your fingertips and you can sort and rearrange it so you can see what you need.

I've been able to save tons of time with the automatic emailing.  I also love that I'm able to leave notes on each account and that the system keeps all correspondence.  It's easy to open up the program and know exactly where you need to start that day.

I like that I can set up Credit Classes to send out mass email blasts

I don't like the customer view, the amount of locations I have to use to set up a credit class, and the fact that the verbiage is confusing.  There are a TON of options to select from when setting up a credit class which can be great but is not user friendly.  I needed to have someone walk me through it multiple times.  

**Recommendations to others considering Sage AR Automation:**

Make it more user friendly.  Its a lot of great features but much too difficult for someone to jump in and start using it.  Maybe create some tutorials so we can help ourselves before having to schedule time with a support agent.  the Support Team is GREAT, but I hate to waste their time.

**What problems is Sage AR Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am making sure all of my customers are being touched via email at very specific times in their invoices history which is great.  Most people dont realize they are missing invoices until it is very late and this helps remove that issue.  They can see all their invoices in one spot and that is very convenient

**What do you like best about Sage AR Automation?**

The system allows for automated work queues, detailed notes at the account and invoice level. Automated email communication with statement and invoice attachments. Nice Dashboard with top-level analytics and major accounts presented. Great customer portal allowing for self-service of pulling missing invoices by customer and allow for online payments on account.

**What do you dislike about Sage AR Automation?**

SAAS model is slow at times and the outbound emails are not using our domain email extension. This causes concern with some customers that it is spam until they confirm with our Accounting department.

**What problems is Sage AR Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consolidated receivables view of all 4 companies which share common customer base. Allow for single communication/focus on collection effort. Eliminate need for paper statements.

The online credit card payment abilities have had more than one issue. I still have yet to have our ACH payment option setup so will have to have some patience in this area.

You have to put work into the setup for this product to be most valuable.

I solved getting invoices to my customers in a timely manor as well as collection follow ups by using Anytime. This product allows you to automate both these process after initial setup.

Being able to store contacts and notes all in one place. Simultaneously send emails, look up information and store notes. The system syncs with our accounting system daily to keep everything up to date.

Frequently logged out while using, attachments often do not attach, some days we are not even able to log in to the system. ATC can also be very slow when trying to send emails or attach documents making efficiency lack.

Solutions - Being able to send emails and look up information as well as store notes all in one location. Benefits - all information is easy to access and in one place. ATC syncs with our accounting system daily and keeps up to date.

The best feature of Anytime Collect is that you can keep track of everything in a simple way, setup and program alerts for specific customers.

I didn't like the fact that it's web-based. I hope to see a downloadable version in the near future.

Use this software. Really. It's the best for gathering all the info and putting it in the right spot, with alerts, schedules, reminders, notes, emails, EVERYTHING you need.

I like that customers can see all their account details and payment history. They can also pay through the portal via credit card or ACH. Customers can send message directly to us in the portal.

The system is not very user friendly. Training is definitely required to set up the account and emails. We have to contact report pretty often for minimum changes needed through out the time, however, the support turn around time is pretty fast.

Client can pay via ACH or credit card via link provided in email or portal directly.

The best thing about ATC is that it touches every single past due account with email templates that the user sets up.  You are not limited to collection letters, you can send Welcome letters, or any other type of communication you need to push out to your customer.

There isn't really anything I dislike, e2b is consistently listening to their customers and enhancing their software.

The demonstration was amazon, but unfortunately that's where it ended. This program on paper was ideal, but it never even launched. Botched delivery from day one.

The site is extremely slow. I am better off downloading my data into excel from EPICOR and creating statements myself versus trying to make sense of Anytime Collect. Every click is another point of frustration and permanent buyers remorse.

Dont. Just don't.

No AR problems were solved as a result of purchasing Anytime Collect. In fact, it only created a larger one when I had to justify the wasted expense to my CFO and Controller. The only benefit from my mistaken purchase is a life-long lesson to never believe a software sales professional.
