Great support team, but too many issues and unexpected costs **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2025 **What do you like best about AiTrillion?** We booked AiTrillion for our Shopify store at the beginning of 2025 because we were looking for an all-in-one solution for customer engagement, email marketing, product reviews, and web push notifications – and wanted to replace tools like JudgeMe and Omnisend. To make the transition easier, we also booked the paid setup service for about €500. The hope was to save money and simplify processes – unfortunately, that was not the case for us. The support is really top-notch – fast, friendly, and always eager to help. If you have a question, you usually get an answer within a short time, often directly in the chat. Even if it sometimes takes several attempts, they ultimately try to solve every problem. The loyalty and review functions worked well technically and are neatly integrated into the store. It was particularly convenient that everything is available in one tool – at least in theory. **What do you dislike about AiTrillion?** Unfortunately, there were many points that were not practical for us: • Email marketing was difficult to use, so we quickly switched back to Shopify Forms & Flow. • WhatsApp marketing did not work as expected in Germany – messages never arrived, even though the dashboard showed otherwise. • The biggest problems were with the billing model: We are being charged for 3.5 times the number of customers who actually purchased from us. I have no idea who the others are – presumably abandoned carts, bots, or similar contacts. AiTrillion classifies them as "active customers" – and charges the higher fees without warning. • Our subscription was automatically "upgraded" twice without us being able to influence it. • Actual usage was very low: Less than 1% of orders were processed through AiTrillion. Overall, it was an expensive experiment for us with many unresolved issues. **What problems is AiTrillion solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our goal was to use AiTrillion as a central solution for customer loyalty, product reviews, and email marketing to simplify our tool landscape and reduce costs in the long term. The integrated loyalty system and review function were particularly helpful for us and worked reliably. The idea of bundling multiple channels like web push and WhatsApp in one place was also fundamentally promising. However, in practice, it turned out that not all functions are optimally tailored to the German market – for example, the lack of SMS support or limited WhatsApp functionality. Nevertheless, AiTrillion has helped us take the first steps towards holistic customer loyalty. ### 7. Soon after the free install, they set up a zoom meeting (showing their face) and talked about my needs rather than just a demo. I've spoken to the same individual since in a Slack channel which is, once again, much better than the typical ticket that responds to asking more questions. They even fixed a code error in my Shopify theme that was causing an auto-sign out for the user after a few clicks / ~45sec sign in session I software itself seems to be the best for my use case since it is loyalty-based, but has other rich features that naturally compliment it e.g. membership/subscriptions and even sms. Although I haven't used it long, everything seems to be running well, and the UX/UI is good. I was able to ditch 3 other apps, that although I didn't save money, it was very close and now i no longer need to Frankenstein those apps, especially when they all 3 need integration. With this, I only need to integrate one app, of which has my back. Looking forward to getting more settled into it; thanks again. **What do you dislike about AiTrillion?** So far, nothing to mention really. It would have been great if we had known about Aitrillion earlier. For review and loyalty services, the most important concern isn't just the features but also ensuring they don't slow down your site. With Stamped.io, we had to contact them almost every year with evidence from site performance tests, asking them to optimize their server hosting. Stamped.io was causing high TTFB and slowing down our site, especially with WooCommerce. Unfortunately, no action was taken, leading to our decision to migrate to Aitrillion out of frustration. Our first experience migrating from Stamped.io to Aitrillion was the seamless and professional support we received, making the transition hassle-free. Secondly, despite Aitrillion being an all-in-one sales and marketing automation platform with many great features, it did not slow down our site at all. In fact, our site speed improved significantly. Thirdly, the professional support from Aitrillion is prompt and efficient, whether via email, live chat, or WhatsApp. When we encountered a problem, it was resolved within 1 to 2 days. Contacted support and they said I had to first upgrade to a higher package, then I could access my saved files and delete the old submissions. Then I had to downgrade back to the plan I was in...kind of a hassle, wish I could just access the database and delete if needed. Also would be good to get an email when our space was close to running out so we could delete submissions before this whole kind of issue happens. Well, I degrees... it's still the only form builder submission app I could find with video attachments so I keep it around. Thanks, guys, make these updates above and I would give you a 10.
