Airwallex has frozen $4550 in funds and deactivated my account without any prior notice and not allowing me to move funds from airwallex to any other US BANK, even the other bank that is under the same name of the same LLC. AIRWALLEX IS SCAMWALLEX.

Airwallex provides a clean and well-documented API that makes integration straightforward, especially for global payment and multi-currency workflows. I really like how easy it is to set up cross-border transfers, issue virtual cards, and manage different currencies within a single platform. The FX rates are competitive, and the developer experience is smooth thanks to clear documentation and reliable performance.

While Airwallex offers a lot of value, there are a few drawbacks: the sandbox environment doesn’t always mirror production, which can make testing complex workflows harder. The account / onboarding / KYC process sometimes feels opaque or arbitrary — users report rejections or delays without clear explanations. Also, customer support can be slow or hard to reach at times, especially when issues arise with compliance or funds being held. Airwallex makes international payments super easy. I can send and receive money in different currencies without the usual bank delays or crazy fees. Airwallex platform is very simple to use and has helped us merge all our different providers into one place for Staff expenses, Corporate cards and international payments. Also by using the global wallets as our account on Shopify we have saved on conversion fees associated with Shopify payouts. Implementation was very straight forward. What I like most about Airwallex is how seamless and intuitive the platform is for managing international payments. The ability to send and receive funds in multiple currencies without excessive fees has made a big difference in our day-to-day operations at Tuning Bill. The real-time FX rates, virtual cards, and ability to hold multiple currency balances give us flexibility and control. The onboarding was smooth, and the user interface is clean and easy to navigate—even for non-finance team members. One downside is that while the platform is powerful, some features can be a bit hard to find or understand at first—especially when it comes to setting up more complex workflows. A bit more in-platform guidance or tooltips could help new users get the most out of it faster. Also, customer support is responsive but can sometimes take longer during peak hours. Sandbox environment could do with some improvement. It's mostly good but there are cases when it returns insufficiently coherent response for inconsistent API request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I tried Airwallex to manage my business finances and expenses, and created multiple currency accounts to make transfers. I found the platform fast and easy to use, and I didn't experience any security issues when I was using the platform on a regular basis. I tried reporting, contacted customer service and got a virtual company card as well. I found it easy to create new cards (physical/virtual). I loved the Rewards features, providing discounts with various service providers, such as Canva or Zendesk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When compared with Wise Business, Airwallex doesn't offer cashback rewards or savings for business funding. Also, I would welcome new features related to lending & borrowing in the future, as small businesses always need access to funding. There was nothing that I disliked in particular.
