What do you like best about SC//Connect?

What I like best about Adaptiv is its ability to seamlessly integrate diverse network protocols into a unified, high-performance fabric. By leveraging Software-Defined Networking (SDN), it intelligently prioritizes traffic in real-time, ensuring that mission-critical applications maintain peak stability even during heavy congestion. What do you dislike about SC//Connect?

Since Adaptive Networks (or Ciena's Adaptive Network vision) are intended to be self-healing and highly automated, my main “dislikes” tend to focus on the complexity of the initial transition.

The biggest drawbacks are the steep learning curve for teams that need to operate and trust AI-driven automation, along with the high upfront cost of replacing legacy infrastructure to enable a truly programmable, sensor-driven ecosystem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC//Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?

It solves the complexity of managing branch-office connectivity and the high cost of traditional private networks. By using cloud-managed SD-WAN and SASE technology, it eliminates the “single point of failure” risk and reduces the need for expensive, specialized on-site IT staff.
