## Worksome Reviews
 ### 1. Ease of Use, But Payments Could Be Faster

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fernanda M. | Translator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I like the ease of use of Worksome. Since I already submitted all the documentation at the time I registered on the platform, when a job is offered and I sign the contract to accept the proposal, it becomes very simple to request payment. After that, I just wait for the client's approval to receive it directly into my account, without needing to send or submit any other document. The integration of Worksome with the platform used by the client (BWX) also speeds up the entire payment process, which flows quickly and easily. Additionally, I had a question during onboarding that was answered by the support team in less than 24 hours!

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

I don't know if it's the platform or the client who sets the deadline for payment after approval, but I would like the payment to be made more quickly.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Worksome for issuing and sending invoices and payment control. After the acceptance of the work, the system for issuing invoices and requesting payment is very simple and fast, without the need to present other documents.

 ### 2. Reliable, but Workflow Is Confusing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mulyadi S. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I use Worksome as a freelancer mainly to request payments from clients on a per-project basis. I’ve been using it for around 2–3 years. The interface looks modern, and requesting payment is mostly straightforward, usually just clicking through the required steps. It works reliably for international setups, and I’ve received all my payments without issues. I’m based in Indonesia, and my clients are in the US and Singapore, and payments in USD have been consistent.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

The main downside for me is usability. While the system works, the workflow can feel confusing at times, especially knowing which buttons to click and in what order when requesting payment. It’s not broken, but it’s a bit cumbersome. I previously worked with Plunet, which felt easier to use, even though it looked less modern.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksome solves the problem of handling international freelancer payments in a structured and compliant way. For me, the main benefit is reliability—I can request payment from clients in the US and Singapore and get paid in USD without worrying about cross‑border payment issues. It also gives my clients a standardized process to manage freelancers, which makes payments more predictable even if the workflow can be a bit confusing at times.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> 2-3 years and payments across Indonesia, US, and Singapore with zero issues. That's exactly the kind of cross-border complexity Worksome is built for. Compliance and payments handled across 150+ countries so neither side has to figure out the logistics.

The workflow usability point is fair. Looking modern is nice, but it needs to feel intuitive too. We're actively simplifying the payment request flow. Appreciate the honesty, it helps us prioritize.

Thanks Mulyadi.

 ### 3. Streamlined, Transparent Freelance Management in One Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marty C. | Ad Ops Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

What I like most about the Worksome platform is how streamlined and transparent it makes managing freelance engagements. I regularly use the contract creation and approval workflows, and the fact that contracts can be generated, reviewed, and signed all within the platform saves me from juggling multiple tools and email threads. The automated compliance checks are another standout feature—they give me confidence that everything is aligned with local regulations without needing to manually verify details each time.

It’s had a noticeable impact on my workflow. For example, the centralized dashboard lets me track freelancer status, contracts, and payments in one place, which cuts down significantly on back-and-forth communication and admin time. Instead of chasing updates or documents, I can quickly see where everything stands and take action immediately. The payment processing is also seamless, reducing the time spent coordinating invoices and ensuring freelancers are paid on time without extra effort.

One unexpected benefit I’ve found is how much it improves collaboration and trust with freelancers. Because everything—from onboarding to payments—is handled so smoothly and professionally, it creates a better experience for them as well. This has made it easier to build long-term relationships and re-engage top talent without friction.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

While my overall experience with Worksome has been positive, there are a few areas where the platform could improve. One challenge I’ve encountered is around payment visibility and timing—while payments are generally reliable, the notifications and status updates can sometimes be unclear, which makes it harder to know exactly where things stand without double-checking. Another downside is that the talent marketplace aspect isn’t always as strong as dedicated freelance platforms. Depending on your niche, there can be limited or less relevant opportunities surfaced, and the matching or recommendation system could be more precise.

Overall, none of these are deal-breakers, but refining these areas would make the platform significantly more efficient and polished in day-to-day use.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, the biggest benefit is how much it reduces administrative overhead and uncertainty. Instead of spending time coordinating contracts, verifying compliance, or managing invoices manually, those processes are automated and standardized. That means I can onboard freelancers faster, pay them reliably, and have full visibility into their status and costs in one place. It also removes the stress of worrying about misclassification or legal risks, since the platform helps ensure everything is set up correctly.

An additional benefit is speed and scalability. Because everything is structured and centralized, it’s much easier to engage freelancers quickly or manage multiple contractors at once without things becoming chaotic. Overall, it turns what used to be a fragmented, manual process into something streamlined, predictable, and much easier to manage day-to-day.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> This is one of the most detailed reviews we've gotten, really appreciate it.

The bit about it building trust and long-term relationships with freelancers is something we don't hear often enough, but it's a huge part of why we built Worksome this way. When the admin, compliance, and payments just work, both sides can focus on the actual work. That flywheel is real.
Payment visibility: fair point. We're improving how status updates and notifications work so you're not left double-checking. Should be obvious at a glance.

On the marketplace and matching: worth clarifying that Worksome is built as a vendor-neutral platform rather than a traditional talent marketplace. Companies bring and manage their own talent sources, whether that's existing freelancers, staffing agencies, or third-party pools. We don't take markups or push a proprietary network. The trade-off is that the "browse and discover" experience can feel thinner than a dedicated marketplace, but the upside is no conflicts of interest and full control over who you work with. We're investing in smarter matching and recommendations to close that gap without compromising the vendor-neutral model.

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback. This stuff genuinely shapes what we build next.

 ### 4. Fast, Helpful Chat Support, but the Interface Can Be a Bit Frustrating

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nanda F. | Indonesian Linguist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

Fast chat response. Whenever I have questions or need help, I just chat with their agent, and one of them comes as soon as possible to provide assistance. Most of issues were solved in minutes because how helpful they are.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

The interface is frustrating. I’ve already processed invoices nine times, yet I still often find myself getting stuck and having to stop and figure out where to go next.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I received my salary for the first time through Worksome, $38 USD was deducted from the amount I was expecting. However, my coworker, who received their salary using a different bank account, didn’t experience the same issue and got their salary without any fee. After that, I asked a Worksome agent to help me change my payment details, and they responded promptly and quickly. No deduction for my next salary. I'm so happy.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Great to hear the support team is that responsive. "Issues solved in minutes" is exactly the standard we set for ourselves, especially for freelancers managing cross-border payments where things need to move fast.

And glad the payment deduction got sorted quickly. That's the kind of thing that shouldn't require stress, and it sounds like the team handled it well.

On the interface: hear you. We're improving the invoicing flow so it feels natural rather than something you have to figure out each time. Thanks for the honest feedback, Nanda.

 ### 5. Simple, Easy-to-Navigate UI That Makes Messaging and File Sharing Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vibe Harboe C. | AI Automation & Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

It has a simple UI design, it’s easy to navigate, and it makes it straightforward to send messages, files, and more.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

I cannot upload all my LinkedIn info directly - I often end up de-prioritizing it because I still have to enter the same information again. That’s why my profile isn’t always up to date, and over time I even remove it from other profiles because it falls so far behind.

There’s also a delay with notification emails: when I receive an answer, it sometimes takes hours before the email arrives.

Finally, there’s no app, so there isn’t really an easy way to check things on the go.

Not much ROI vs the work you put into it

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It clearly offers the best overview of freelance work—those kinds of jobs often get buried on other platforms (Linkedin, Jobindex, Glassdoor, etc.).

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Hi Vibe, it’s great to get feedback from someone in the AI and Automation space. I hear you on the manual profile updates - we’re looking into how AI can help automate that data mapping from LinkedIn so you don't have to keep re-entering information. I’ve also noted the notification delay and the request for a mobile app.

One thing to keep in mind is that Worksome is a Freelance Management System (FMS) rather than an open marketplace, so the goal is for your profile to work for you as a gateway to private client talent pools without you needing to constantly 'hustle' for assignments.

Thanks for being with us,

Happy friday,
Mathias

 ### 6. Easy Process and On-Time Payments

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andreia S. | Translator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

The process is easy to follow, and payments are on time.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

When I started using Worksome, my payments were always late, and the support wasn't able to tell me what was wrong. I had to open an account in a new bank to resolve the issue. What frustrated me the most was that the support didn't seem to understand the issue or how to help me at the time.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To be honest, the old payment process was much easier for me because it was entirely automated, and I didn't have to do anything other than check if the invoice was correct. This new process is not complicated, but it adds steps that I didn't have to follow, and, as a consequence, payment now is about 10 days later than before.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Glad things are running smoothly now and payments are arriving on time. That's the standard we hold ourselves to.

On the early bank issue: cross-border payments can sometimes hit snags depending on the receiving bank's setup, and it sounds like the switch resolved it. Sorry the support team wasn't able to pinpoint it faster though. We've since invested a lot in our payment support capabilities, especially for international freelancers.

Thanks for the review, Andreia.

 ### 7. Effortlessly Manages Contracts and Compliance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark C. | Freelance Artworker, Designer and Retoucher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I find the chatbot on Worksome really useful, and it's great that I can also ask to speak to a human; it's nice to have a point of contact. I've been using Worksome since September with no issues. They've been paying me regularly and without any problems, which is reassuring. I also like that I am part of their talent pool, which helps me find more jobs in the future. The process of setting up was straightforward, and I was accepted into the talent pool, which has led to my current client renewing my contract six times. Worksome has been really good in that aspect.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

Nothing I can think of!

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksome helps me with timesheets, invoicing, and contract extensions. It keeps me be compliant with an easy setup and extension of contracts. The chatbot is useful, and it's nice to have human contact too. I'm paid regularly, and the team is helpful.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Hi Mark, thanks for the great review! Six contract renewals is incredible - I'm so glad we've been able to help facilitate that partnership. It's also good to hear you appreciate the mix of our chatbot and real human support. We really try to make the compliance and invoicing side of things feel effortless so you can focus on the creative work.

Cheers,
Mathias

 ### 8. Effortless Freelancer Engagement and Compliance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luca M. | People Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I really like how easy and quick Worksome is to use. It's great that I've been able to create a framework within our business for engaging with freelancers efficiently. Our resource managers can provide information for contracts and handle all liaison with freelancers. Once the process reaches our team, I can easily and quickly create a contract and provide a platform for our resource managers to approve freelance invoices. The platform to create contracts saves us a lot of time and effort, allowing us more time and energy to focus on other tasks.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

Possibly some customization options. So maybe just being able to customize the user interface specifically for myself or my team. And more freedom for this on the user's part.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Worksome to engage freelancers and manage compliance easily. It takes the hard work off my HR team, makes compliance checks effortless, and saves time by simplifying contract creation and freelance management.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Hi Luca - it's awesome that the framework you've built is letting the HR team breathe a bit easier! Simplifying that contract hand-off between your resource managers and HR is a huge part of why we built the platform.

I totally get the desire for more UI customization. We try to balance a simple, standardized interface to keep compliance tight, but I hear the need for more personal flexibility for your specific team. If you ever find you need a more tailored way to view or manage your data outside of our standard dashboard, our public API is a great way to sync Worksome info directly into your own internal tools: https://docs.worksome.com/

All the best,
Mathias

 ### 9. Effortless Contractor Management with Impeccable Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gem A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I use Worksome to handle our contractor management, and it's great because it allows incredibly quick and compliant contract issuance to our contingent workforce. I love the fantastic UI; the software is incredibly easy and intuitive to operate, and it's backed up by first-class user support. The AI-backed help module quickly finds the correct solution, no matter how complex the problem seems. I can also get patched through to a human right away if needed. This means I can work at a fast pace without getting stalled. Before Worksome, handling contract issues and compliance manually was tedious, but now I can prepare and issue a contract within a couple of minutes, all handled by Worksome. The initial setup was very easy, thanks to a dedicated customer service agent.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

I would love to see the ability to generate reports including and using the custom fields on the hire pages.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksome allows quick and compliant contract issuance to our contingent workforce, replacing manual handling. I can prepare and issue contracts within minutes and get compliance status determinations.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> This is the kind of review that makes our day. "Prepare and issue a contract within a couple of minutes" is exactly the speed enterprises need when managing a contingent workforce at scale. And glad the AI-backed support is doing its job. That's Worksome Intelligence at work, designed to get you answers fast and route to a human when it matters.

Custom field reporting: great suggestion. We're expanding our reporting capabilities and this is on the list. Appreciate you being specific about it.

Thanks Gem.
Mathias Linnemann, Worksome

 ### 10. Convenient Payment with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth C.

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I like Worksome for its ease of use and the way it connects directly to my bank. It simplifies the payment process by charging the agency once they approve the invoice, so I don't have to worry about chasing down payments. Also, having their own invoice system is a plus.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

One time I had major issues because I am located in Canada and the agency is in the States. It gave major issues all of a sudden, and I never got an answer as to why, since we had been working for 5 years and it was never an issue before. I'd chalk it up to a system update. Another thing I don't like is I don't get a notification or reminder that my contract is ending. It's frustrating because sometimes I don't bill for a month and then my contract is up, and then I need to contact the agency to re-open, and it's a huge hassle. I also think there seems to be a cap on contract time. Honestly, there aren't a lot of tools on there that I find useful.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksome handles payments efficiently for me with direct bank connections and integrated invoicing, completely automating agency payments after approval and eliminating the stress of chasing payments.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> The contract expiry point is really useful feedback. You should absolutely get a notification before a contract is about to close, especially if there's still unbilled work. That's the kind of thing that should just be built in. Taking this one to the product team.

Sorry about the cross-border hiccup. Canada-US payments should be seamless, and if it happens again, ask support to escalate it directly.

Thanks for the honest review, Elizabeth.

 ### 11. Worksome Makes Contracts, Invoicing, and Payments Effortlessly Organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

Worksome makes invoicing and payments straightforward, especially for contract work. It keeps jobs, contracts, expenses, and payments in one place, which makes admin much easier. I also like that it gives flexibility to work across different projects while still keeping everything organised and professional. It saves time compared to handling contracts and invoicing manually.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

The only issue I’ve noticed is with the mobile version when downloading contracts. On my phone, contract downloads sometimes open incorrectly as unreadable file text instead of a proper PDF, which makes it awkward to review documents on the go. It works perfectly fine on laptop, so improving the mobile contract download experience would make things much smoother.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksome solves the admin side of contract work by keeping contracts, invoices, payments, and expenses in one place. Instead of chasing paperwork manually, everything is organised and easy to track. This saves time, reduces mistakes, and lets me focus more on the actual work rather than admin and payment follow-ups.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> The mobile PDF bug is annoying, thank you for flagging it specifically. We'll get that sorted.

Everything else you described is music to our ears. One place for contracts, invoices, expenses, and payments. No chasing paperwork. Focus on the work, not the admin. That's the whole idea behind Worksome as a freelancer management platform, and it's great to hear it's working that way in practice.

Cheers,
Mathias

 ### 12. Effortless Contract Management with Some Improvement Needed

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin B. | Director, Engineering Student Life, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I like that Worksome makes it relatively easy for me to find the contract and payment information and check the status of payments with my client, which saves me from sifting through hundreds of emails for each project. I also appreciate being able to quickly get my tax information at the end of the year. The initial setup was relatively easy with the step-by-step process.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

I don't know how to find other clients through Worksome. When I first set up my account, it seemed like I'd be able to find other clients. I also prefer talking with people over talking with robots, and Worksome seems to operate robot-first. Maybe have a tutorial on how to find clients or how to use the platform for that and other things easily accessible. Usually, when I log in, if I don't know what to do, I have to reach out to the help feature. I'd rather have some kind of how-to portal to search.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like Worksome because it makes it easy to find contract and payment info, saving me from sifting through emails. It also lets me quickly access tax info at year-end.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> The self-service help idea is a really good one. You shouldn't have to reach out to support just to figure out how things work. A proper how-to portal is something we need to build better. Noted.

On finding clients: we could probably do a better job explaining this upfront. Worksome isn't a marketplace where you browse and apply. Companies use the platform to manage and pay their external talent, so new work typically comes through direct invitations from clients. Think of it as the infrastructure behind your freelance engagements rather than a place to discover new ones.

Glad the contracts, payments, and tax info are saving you time though. That's the stuff that should just work.
Mathias

 ### 13. Effortless Invoicing with Reliable Payments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeppe H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I really like the monthly invoicing process in Worksome. It runs like a dream: I mark my workdays, click submit, and a month later the payment arrives on time, every time. The contract and daily rates are embedded into the system, so invoicing is super simple and very effective. Everything has worked fine from the very start. I received an email with a link to the contract with my customer straight into Worksome, clicked on it, accepted, and after filling in a few essentials like my company name and bank account, I was up and running. It's very easy to use, and the platform provides a service very well. Also, I use an expense management system and I can export the invoices from Worksome into it.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

Nothing

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksome simplifies contract management, monthly invoicing, and client communication. The invoicing process is super simple and effective, requiring just a summary of workdays to complete invoicing, ensuring timely payments.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> It's great to hear that being a non-UK freelancer on Worksome has been a smooth experience for you - making international payments feel "local" is exactly what we're going for. I hear you on that first-day admin load; we try to front-load the compliance heavy lifting so that once you're in, you can focus entirely on your design work without ever having to worry about it again.

 ### 14. Efficient Invoicing Tool for Agency Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura D. | Independent Brand & Experience Strategy Director , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I love that it's fast and efficient, and everything is in one place. It's easy to track my invoices and payments and know when I'm expected to be paid. The invoicing process is super seamless, and it acts as a third party between myself and my client, making things run smoothly. I also enjoy how everything is managed efficiently, keeping things nice and clean. Overall, I've really enjoyed working with Worksome.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

I don't really use it for looking for new jobs or anything like that or new contracts. It could be integrated with my online software that I use to track my own accounting because I have to raise an invoice in Worksome and then go and raise an invoice in my accounting software so that it reconciles. So it could do that, but it really wasn't a big deal.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksome solves the problem of keeping track of invoices, payment schedules, and payment plans, making invoicing seamless. It acts as a third party between me and my clients, providing a fast, efficient, and centralized place for tracking everything related to payments.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Really glad the invoicing flow feels seamless. The "third party that keeps things clean" framing is exactly how we think about it.

The double invoicing point is spot on. Nobody should have to raise the same invoice twice. We're heavily developing our API and MCP integrations right now, and connecting directly to accounting tools like Xero, QuickBooks, and others is a big part of that. The goal is exactly what you're describing: raise it once in Worksome, and it flows through automatically.

You can already explore what's possible at docs.worksome.com. More to come soon.

 ### 15. Convenient All-in-One Platform, But Navigation Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Assan S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I use Worksome to process work I do for companies and to get paid through it. I value being able to stay within the app for all my processes for a particular job, from signing contracts to getting paid. It allows me to handle everything in one location, which is something I like. I appreciate receiving alerts about what stage the process is in via email or a text alert. The initial setup wasn't too bad; it was quite straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

I think navigating the site could be improved on. It can sometimes be a bit cumbersome. I think the layout isn’t clear enough; you can sometimes get lost within the app. For example, when I am trying to find someone to contact regarding payment, it’s a bit difficult. Sometimes it’s not clear where to go for information.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Worksome to process work and get paid, handling everything from signing contracts to payment in one place. It gives me alerts about job stages, making the workflow seamless.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Having everything from contract to payment in one place is core to what we do, so glad that's landing well.

The navigation feedback is fair and specific, which makes it useful. Finding the right contact for payment queries shouldn't be a treasure hunt. We're investing in making the app clearer and easier to move around in. Don't forget to check the "Worksome Intelligence AI feature" - its able to provide a lot of what you're asking for here. Appreciate you taking the time to spell it out.

 ### 16. Streamlined Freelance Management, Needs Better Support Communication

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kunle J. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I use Worksome to process all my contracts, acceptance of contracts, invoicing, and receipt of payments. One of the most valuable aspects is that Worksome has streamlined all my documentation, providing a one-stop check for all my historical contracts and invoices. The standout feature for me is how Worksome reduces the timeline for invoice processing, cutting it from the usual thirty days to just about fourteen days. This efficiency means I sometimes receive payments in less than forty days, which is fantastic. The setup was very straightforward for me, and I found the support quite straightforward as well. For anyone looking into a freelance management system, I'd recommend Worksome for its usefulness, efficiency, and ease of setup.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

One feature that I think could be improved is the area of clarifications and engagements with people at the back end. I think Worksome can improve this area, and that would be great. A specific suggestion for improvement would be continuity in the personnel trying out support. If there could be continuity across several days, with historical background to carry out support through to conclusion, that would be great.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksome streamlines all my freelance documentation, making it easy to find previous contracts and invoices. It also significantly cuts invoice processing time from 30 to about 14 days, which is really fantastic.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Really appreciate the detail here. Cutting invoice processing from 30 to 14 days is one of those things we built specifically to make freelancing less painful. And it goes both ways: companies that pay faster and make the admin simple tend to attract the best freelancers. We hear from enterprises all the time that their top talent actively prefers working through Worksome over other setups because of exactly what you described. That's a real competitive advantage for them.

The one-stop archive for contracts and invoices is something we're proud of too. Sounds small, but having everything in one place saves a lot of headaches come tax season.

The support continuity point is a good one. Getting handed between people and having to re-explain your issue is frustrating. We're working on making that more seamless so your context carries through from start to finish.

Thanks for the thoughtful review, and for recommending Worksome. Really appreciate it Kunle.

 ### 17. Straightforward Timesheets, but Setup Checklist Needs to Be Clearer

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

Once you’ve jumped through the setup hoops and your account is verified, the actual timesheet process is straightforward. Any corrections are flagged, so you can see what needs fixing and feel confident you’ve done it correctly when you submit.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

I felt like I wasn’t made aware of a complete checklist of what I needed to provide, and if I was, it wasn’t very clear from the start. I was pinged if items were incomplete or if additional information was needed and then was happy once I had final confirmation that everything was good to go and that I would be paid on time. I used the chat feature and I think I was emailed by a human that helped me upload some things too.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is really an employer question - I am a freelancer using the platform as a point of connection to that organization.

 ### 18. Worksome Makes Global Staffing Seamless and Agile

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

With an external workforce spread across the globe, Worksome streamlines the process, is very agile across set-up, tax rules and currencies and with short timespans makes it possible for sompanies to staff up seamlessly in busy periods

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

I think it the seach function under payment request could be improved to make it possible to do groupings in currency and expense claims for example

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Worksome every day at work. I find the platform very intuitive and excellent for freelance management, both for the managers in house and the external workers. With a workforce spread across the globe, Worksome streamlines the process, is very agile across set-up, tax rules and currencies and with short timespans makes it possible for sompanies to staff up seamlessly in busy periods. Further I appreciate that its possible to pull data from the platform to improve and identify internal gaps and spendings.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> It's great to hear that Worksome is making your global staffing so much more agile - especially during those busy periods when scaling fast is critical. I also appreciate the specific feedback on the payment request search; we're always looking to improve how our Freelance Management System handles groupings like currency and expenses for our enterprise partners.

Thanks for using us every day to manage your external workforce!

 ### 19. Efficient and User-Friendly Platform with Room for Support Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Loreta M. | Lecturer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

The platform is intuitive and easy to use, and the invoicing process is very simple and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

My experience with customer support was not as positive. Responses were slow and not always helpful, which made resolving issues more difficult than it should have been.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksome solves the complexity of working as a freelancers by bringing everything into one place – contracts, invoicing, and payments. Instead of dealing with manual processes, separate tools, and administrative overhead, everything is streamlined and automated.

For me, the main benefit was simplicity and efficiency. The platform made invoicing very easy and saved time, and it was convenient to have all work-related processes in one system instead of managing them separately.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Thanks for the honest feedback. Glad the invoicing and overall experience has been smooth.

The support point is fair and something we take seriously. We've been investing in faster response times and better resolution quality - so if you run into anything again, don't hesitate to reach out. It should be a different and better experience. for sure. Thanks again

 ### 20. Seamless Global Payments and Compliance for Freelancers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Translation and Localization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

As a Turkish-English translator working with global clients, the biggest headache used to be the 'black hole' of international bank transfers and varying tax forms. Before Worksome, I’d finish a technical translation and then spend hours figuring out how to get paid without losing 10% to intermediary fees. Now, the narrative has changed. Worksome’s automated payment system handles the currency and transfer logistics seamlessly. I no longer have to worry about worker classification issues when working with US or UK-based companies; the platform ensures everything is compliant from the start. It’s allowed me to scale my freelance business beyond local borders with total financial confidence.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

As a linguist, I’m naturally sensitive to localization. While the platform is excellent for global compliance, I’d love to see more localized support for Turkish-specific tax documentation or a Turkish language interface option. Currently, the platform feels very Western-centric (US/UK/EU), and while it works perfectly for international payments, having a more tailored experience for freelancers in the MENA or TR region would make it a 10/10 experience. The only minor friction point is the frequency of automated email notifications. Because Worksome is so thorough with compliance and worker classification steps, you can sometimes feel a bit 'poked' by the system to upload documents or verify steps that you’ve already initiated. A more customizable notification dashboard where I could batch these alerts would be a great quality-of-life update for busy freelancers.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a freelance translator working between the Turkish and English markets, the biggest problem Worksome solves for me is geographic and administrative friction.
Before using the platform, I struggled with two main 'narratives' in my business: the stress of cross-border payments and the complexity of international worker classification. Many of my UK and US-based clients were hesitant to hire a freelancer in Turkey because they weren't sure how to handle compliance or tax reporting (like IR35 or 1099 rules).
Worksome has completely rewritten that story for me. By providing an automated classification tool, they give my clients the legal green light to hire me instantly without their legal teams getting involved.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> This is one of the most detailed reviews we've received, so thank you for taking the time.

The cross-border payment story is exactly why we built Worksome. Hearing that it's removed real friction between you and your clients is the best validation we could get.

Both points on localization and notification control are well taken. We're expanding our regional coverage and the notification batching idea is smart. Passing it along.

Thanks again 🙏

 ### 21. Helpful Glossary Integration, But Crashes and Uncomfortable Navigation

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karla A. | CEO Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

This is the platform my client prefers, so using it helps me continue working with them smoothly. The glossary integration is also very helpful and makes my work easier.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

It crashes constantly. When I use the filter and unblock several segments at once, it refreshes automatically and sends me back to the first segment, which makes it hard to find where I was in the file. The view is very uncomfortable to work with. Glossary terms don’t always appear. The AI sometimes changes what I just wrote when I switch tabs, so I have to go back and fix it again.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None.

 ### 22. Efficient and Reliable for Invoicing and Contracts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lolly A. | Footage Research & Creative Development Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I like that Worksome is easy to use, especially for invoicing and contracts. It’s reliable for payments, which is crucial for my work. The platform saves me a lot of time on back and forth and back end paperwork. I also found the initial setup pretty easy, particularly with the ability to import from LinkedIn.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

The only issue I have is that my rate varies whether it’s my standard day rate, overtime or weekends so having a bit more flexibility on that would be beneficial as currently I have to ask the team to adjust the settings for me to put it through as a whole amount and detail the breakdown in the notes

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Worksome for invoicing and contracts. It solves invoicing issues and helps chase payments reliably. It's easy to use, saving me time and paperwork. The platform is invaluable in managing my contracts efficiently.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Hi Lolly - This is great to hear, thank you. Reliable payments and less paperwork is exactly what we're optimizing for, so glad that's landing.

Good shout on the variable rates. You shouldn't need a workaround for something that common. It's on our radar.

 ### 23. Efficient Contract Management and User-Friendly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna A. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I really like how easy to use Worksome is. It's very user-friendly and makes everything smoother when accepting and working on jobs with agents. It's concise, clear, and easy to manage, which helps me figure out what's entailed in jobs. The straightforwardness in finalizing contracts and processing payments is another plus. Worksome also has a really good customer service that helps promptly if I have any questions during setup.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

It'd be great if you could see previous payslip on Worksome. That would be easier than having to trail back through emails for the payslip. It'd be good to have a record of it somewhere on file there.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Worksome for finalizing contracts and processing payments with my agencies. It's really clear and concise, making it easy to manage work and understand job details.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Hi Anna, thanks so much for the feedback! I’m really happy to hear that the contract management and agency payments are feeling so straightforward for you. I totally hear you on the payslip records - having a central file for those instead of digging through emails is a great call. I’ll make sure to get that suggestion over to our product team as we keep building out our Freelance Management System.

Best,
Mathias

 ### 24. Intuitive with Quick Support, Minor Feature Overload

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karl D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I really like that Worksome is very intuitive. It doesn't take long to find out what I need to know, and it's easy to navigate. The chat feature works well too; if I have any questions, I know someone will reply fairly quickly. I also appreciate the two-factor authentication feature.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

There seems to be features of Worksome that I have never needed or experienced, so maybe they need to be reviewed if they are necessary. I'm not sure what the marketplace feature is and feel it's not needed. The initial setup wasn't that easy, particularly dealing with the inside IR35 element, which was a pain.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Worksome for project bookings and getting paid. It solves scheduling and contact management issues. It's intuitive, easy to navigate, and the chat feature provides quick support.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Hi Karl, thanks for the honest feedback. Great to hear that the UI feels intuitive and that the 2FA and chat support are giving you that extra peace of mind.

I hear you on the IR35 setup - it's a complex beast to navigate in the UK, but we've built the system to handle that heavy lifting so you're fully compliant once you're through the initial hurdles. You actually hit the nail on the head regarding the "marketplace" feature; we've shifted our focus heavily toward being a Freelance Management System (FMS) specifically to solve those compliance and payment issues.

Best,
Mathias

 ### 25. Simple, Fast Freelancer Management That Cuts Admin Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mert S. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

Worksome stands out for how simple and efficient it makes the entire freelancer management process. The UI is clean and intuitive, so onboarding, contracts, and payments are all handled without friction. Performance-wise, it’s reliable and fast, which matters when you’re dealing with multiple projects and timelines. What’s particularly valuable is how it reduces admin overhead. Things that would normally take hours are streamlined into a few clicks, letting you focus on the actual work rather than paperwork.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

I don't see much to dislike about Worksome.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to keep track of invoices, messages with clients, timesheets...

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> It is great to hear that Worksome is helping you cut down on that admin overhead. As a Director, your time is far more valuable when spent on the work itself rather than chasing paperwork. I’m glad our UI and the speed of our FMS are hitting the mark for you across your various projects.

Best, Mathias

 ### 26. Effortless Freelancer Experience, Needs More Clients

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I really like the back of house CIS for the admin part; when you get a contract, it's very easy. The payments are always on time, and the invoicing is very user-friendly. It's just a very simple, smooth experience. It's also very safe. I also like how you can update your profile on the platform. It's just very, very easy to use as a freelancer. It's great. The initial setup was super easy, which I appreciate a lot.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

There's not that many clients on Worksome. The clients I used to work with aren't using Worksome anymore, or they're not using freelancers. If it had more clients, I would use it more.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksome makes it easy to connect with great clients remotely, ensures timely payments, and requires minimal communication, making the process smooth.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> "Very simple, smooth, very safe" and "payments always on time." Hard to ask for a better summary than that.
On the client side: we're growing fast (60%+ last year) and more enterprises are joining the platform, particularly in marketing and creative. The briefs you see depend on which companies' talent pools you're part of, so as more clients come on board, the volume naturally grows for freelancers like you.

We want you to use Worksome more too. Glad you're here.

Mathias Linnemann, Worksome

 ### 27. Worksome Makes Contracts and Payment Requests Fast and Effortless!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

The site is extremely easy to navigate, making it both time-efficient and dependable. I don't have to spend valuable minutes of my day hunting for the location of a contract or payment request. All documents are stored in clearly labeled folders on my home page. I can easily check the status of a payment request at any time, rather than having to wait on hold with a company during their working hours to obtain this information from a person. And instead of my having to request documents in the same manner, I can effortlessly download them from Worksome's website, again saving me time and frustration.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

So far in my experience, I've not encountered any downsides to utilizing Worksome aside from the fact that the site's Marketplace often does not show any available jobs in my field (copyediting and proofreading). If I were able to use Worksome to discover and connect with potential clients, I would be thrilled, as I would like to continue working via the extremely efficient Worksome platform.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding has long been one of my least-favorite aspects of working as a freelancer due to missed/buried emails I have to constantly resend to HR team members. Worksome has eliminated that issue since all communications are stored on the website, and parties are notified when new messages arrive or documents are uploaded. No more time wasted waiting for a call back from an HR rep to determine whether or not my documents were received!

 ### 28. Worksome Makes Freelance Management Flexible and Compliant

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

Worksome makes it easy for us to manage freelance workers across our group, alongside providing us with the reassurance that we stay compliant when hiring. Our team uses Worksome on a daily / weekly basis, as we work in a fast moving environment that requires flexibility. It's great that we can invite specific contractors to work with us, while still being able to search a wider pool of talent when needed.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

I can’t think of anything negative to say. Any questions or concerns we’ve had about the platform have always been addressed and resolved by customer support.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compliance is a key area of concern for us as a business, so Worksome’s compliance workflow, which is completed for every hire, gives us reassurance that we’re staying compliant and helps reduce the risk of an unpleasant surprise from HMRC.

We've recently received refresher training from Emma Parker, who tailored the training to our needs as a business, focusing on the specific areas we use. This was incredibly beneficial and will be a great resource for us to reference in the future

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Really appreciate this — especially the point about flexibility and compliance working together, not against each other. That's exactly the balance we're building for.

Glad the support team has been responsive too. We'll keep that bar high.

Thanks for taking the time.

Mathias, Co-founder

 ### 29. Worksome has given us assurance and made hiring freelancers an easy process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

Worksome has made it a breeze for us to hire freelancers and be safe in the knowledge that we are complying with all the relevant HMRC rules. The platform is very easy to use for both ourselves and new freelancers signing up. It has given us great peace of mind since the IR35 rules were widen that we are not going to fall foul of the taxman. We regularly set up new hires and the platform makes it easy to determine weather a hire is inside or outside of IR35. Information is readily available on all previous hires and the system is speedy to navigate. The support is always quick to reply and gives great help any time it is needed - weather that is for ourselves querying a situation or for freelancers wanting to understand specific details.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

There have been very few blips with Worksome and if any the team have always been quick and helpful to resolve them.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The assurance around our compliance with IR35 is a key factor in us using Worksome. It also makes keeping records for any HMRC inspections extremely simple.

 ### 30. All Job Conversations in One Place

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

i can view a whole conversation for one job in one place

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

As a freelance designer, I know which invoices are which based on the job title (for example the name of the TV show). However, I find that the job title is always listed as my role "Concept artist" and the ACTUAL job title tends to be at least a couple of clicks away so I need to search around for it. It would be nice if i could see it alongside the main information. Currently all of my payment requests and conversations look almost identical to each other.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the live chat. When i had to add a VAT number to old invoices it was very helpful

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> I love that our centralized messaging is keeping things organized for you, but I totally see how frustrating it is when every project looks identical. Having the actual project name - like the show title - front and center instead of just your role makes perfect sense for a designer's workflow. I'm taking this specific feedback to our product team so we can make those job titles more descriptive at a glance.

 ### 31. Quick and Simple, but Lacks Integration Features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon J. | Technical Production Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I like that Worksome is quick and simple, which is key for me. It's streamlined and efficient, which is important for consultants and freelancers. It's good that the process is straightforward, making things like SSO an extra process to manage easily. Additionally, being able to link to accounting software such as Xero and pass data directly into Worksome would be a valuable asset. Setting it up was easy too.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

It can be frustrating that Worksome adds another stage in the process. It would be good if it could simplify the workflow by linking directly to accounting software like Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Worksome to get contracts and get paid by agencies. It's quick, simple, and streamlined, which simplifies the process for consultants and freelancers.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Hi Simon, Appreciate the feedback. The integration point is fair and something we're working on.

Worth knowing: we have a public API that make it possible to connect Worksome to lots of accounting tools. Some of our freelancers have actually built their own integrations using our docs at docs.worksome.com. Easier than you'd think with a bit of vibe-coding

Glad the core experience is smooth for you though. We'll keep pushing on making the workflow tighter.

Thanks again,
Mathias, Co-founder

 ### 32. Straightforward Invoicing and Easy Task Discovery for Freelancers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ulrich Wagner G. | Developer and architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

Invoicing is straightforward, and as a freelancer it’s easy for me to find new tasks.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

Lately, it seems like a different kind of tasks are available. In the early days, there were a lot of tasks for developers; now it seems to be more focused on marketing.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For almost five years, I did almost all my work through Worksome. It was very simple to keep track of invoicing, and I didn’t have to worry about overdue payments—Worksome took care of that.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Five years on the platform, that's incredible. And "didn't have to worry about overdue payments" is exactly why we built Worksome. Guaranteed payments to freelancers, no chasing invoices, no stress.
Thanks for sticking with us this long.
Mathias, Worksome

 ### 33. All Legislative Processes in One Place—Cuts Admin Time and Costs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I like that it contains all the legislative processes in one place and covers invoicing and processing. I also like that it does not offer a talent market place in the way yuno juno does (as far as I know). I run a talent agency and this presents a conflict of interests. Fo the clients we work with via Worksome it cuts down admin on both sides. Thus saving time and money.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

I don't have any dislikes.
I did think we could use it on a pay as you go basis because this would have been convenient for some of our needs (AOR) and potentially a way to expand our use of it. However I have explored this path and learned that we'd need to process a lot more through the platform an the onboarding and minimum spends were out of our league.
It's not just about efficiency for us...
If we put everything through the system we'd need to lose our accounts team and they do more than process - there is a very human aspect of our accounts operation - even though in parts there are inefficiencies - the human aspect outweighs, it's very important.
Also - we discovered through exploring worksome - that for our business we are more wanting to invest in a CRM and scheduling system that does things Worksome does not do - ie the scheduling part of it and coms with talent and clients.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From our Agency perspective - a Talent Agency as opposed to an ad/creative agency. We are flowing with the desire of our clients to process their work through the platform. And thus we are able to continue working with our clients seamlessly.
With Yuno Juno we lost business (eventually) from engaging through the platform - though likely also because of the change in industry - thre is less work at the moment.
So the problem Worksome solved was for our clients (their desire for efficiency and better controls) and I believe that it avoided us having a bigger problem of losing work - as we experienced with YJ.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> It is refreshing to read such a thoughtful breakdown of why the difference between a marketplace and a Freelance Management System (FMS) actually matters for an agency. We intentionally built Worksome to be a neutral partner - we want to be the infrastructure that keeps your client relationships seamless without ever presenting a conflict of interest. I’m glad to hear we’ve helped you retain business that might have otherwise been at risk.

I also really value your perspective on your accounts team. While we talk a lot about automation, I firmly believe that technology should support human connections, not replace them. Inefficiencies often hide the "human glue" that keeps a business running, and I love that you’re protecting that.

Regarding the CRM and scheduling systems you're looking for, I wanted to mention that you don't have to choose between our compliance engine and your preferred tools. We have a very flexible public API designed exactly for this. You can easily integrate Worksome into your own tech stack - whether that’s a CRM or a custom scheduling tool - so your data flows where you need it without losing that human touch in your back office. You can check out our developer docs here: https://docs.worksome.com/

I also appreciate the honest feedback on our AOR onboarding and minimums. Our current focus is on solving large-scale compliance in the UK and US, but your comments on more agile, pay-as-you-go needs give us a lot to think about as we grow.

Best,

Mathias

 ### 34. Effortless Freelance Management with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Holly R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I really like the user interface and how easy the platform is to use. The fact that compliance is built into the contracting process is a big plus, ensuring we don't forget to manage it. The reporting feature is really good, and the customer support team is always on hand to assist, whether it's by making custom reports or providing support to our contractors. Also, the initial setup was very easy, and we were set up within 1-2 weeks.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

N/A

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksome automates freelancer management, reducing manual input for contracts, and helps us easily manage compliance. It streamlines our processes with a user-friendly interface, built-in compliance in contracts, excellent reporting, and responsive customer support.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Hi Holly - Set up within 1-2 weeks is something we're proud of. A lot of enterprise platforms take months. We've designed onboarding to be fast because compliance shouldn't be something that slows you down, it should just be built in from day one.

Really glad the reporting and support are landing well too. That combination of self-serve platform plus a team that builds custom reports when you need them is core to how we work with enterprise clients.

Thanks for this.

 ### 35. Freelance Senior Art Director

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jo d. | Illustrator & Handlettering Artist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

It allows companies to see that I am a legitimate business and reassures them that I will do a good job, due to previous employers' ratings on show.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

I feel there's a lack of frequency of relevant roles to my skillset on Worksome. It seems like not many agencies in my industry are aware of them.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksome links me to companies requiring my services, setting up the necessary contracts, and reassures them of my legitimacy and performance through past ratings.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Great to hear the ratings and credibility side is working for you. That trust layer between freelancers and companies is something we care a lot about.

On role frequency: worth knowing that Worksome isn't a public marketplace in the traditional sense. The roles you see depend on which companies' talent pools you're part of. So the more pools you're added to, the more relevant briefs will come your way.

 ### 36. Effective freelance payment platform, can be hard to navigate

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jane G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I appreciate that Worksome's support staff are pretty prompt about reaching out and trying to fix any problems or queries. I also found that the initial setup was super-simple, even though I initially over-complicated it.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

I struggle sometimes to navigate around the site. The focus initially seems to be on finding work, which is fair enough, but if you already have gigs and want to log in regarding a specific job, being barraged with lots of 'find your next job' headlines can be a bit distracting. Also, the whole onboarding process made me fret that it would be harder than it actually is.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksome enables me to get paid by my employer.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Hi Jane, I'm really glad to hear that our support team was there to help you through the setup and that it turned out to be much simpler than you first feared.

I completely hear you on the navigation. It’s a bit ironic that the "find your next job" headlines are getting in your way when you’re already busy with work! That’s actually a remnant of our marketplace roots, and as we lean further into being a Freelance Management System (FMS), our goal is to make the dashboard focus entirely on the work you already have. We want to get those distractions out of your way so you can just log your time and get paid without the extra noise.

All the best,

Mathias

 ### 37. Effortless Freelance Management, Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I use Worksome for freelance management, particularly for overseeing resource consumption and payroll. I really appreciate its easy-to-use interface, which provides me with an easier overview and transparency, so I don't need to become an expert in the topic. The support and service are great, making the setup process awesome. Worksome's international scalability options and method are also aspects I like. Overall, it works quite well for my needs.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

A complete managed service would be nice. I wish I didn't have to do anything and they would just have a consultant help me as part of my team but through them.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksome provides an easier overview and transparency, so I don't have to be an expert on every topic.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Really glad to hear the platform is giving you that transparency without needing to become a specialist. That's the goal.

The managed service idea is interesting, and you're not the first to ask. It's something we're building out with our partners in the space as Worksome prefers to focus on the technology and user experience. Appreciate you putting it out there.

 ### 38. Simplifies Freelance Management but Needs Up-To-Date Listings

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** S A. | Paid Social Specilaist

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I use Worksome as a freelancer to find contracts. Worksome provides a good list of contracts to review and apply for, and it handles the client introduction, contract, and payments. I really appreciate the ease of use with clients since it takes out the admin work. The initial setup was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

The job listings are often out of date and the date they were listed isn't easy to view unless you click on the job itself.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Worksome to find freelance contracts. It provides a good list of contracts and handles client introduction, contracts, and payments, making the process easy with clients and reducing administrative tasks.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Good to hear the platform is taking the admin off your plate. That's the core promise: you focus on the work, Worksome handles contracts, compliance, and payments end to end.

The listing freshness point is valid. Making it clearer which briefs are active and when they were posted is something we can do better. Passing this to the product team.

Cheers,
Mathias (Co-founder)

 ### 39. Hassle-Free Invoice Management, Needs More Job Listings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suzanne S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I really appreciate that Worksome keeps all my documents in one place and allows me to effortlessly track my outstanding invoices. It has made my life easier by showing clearly when I will get paid, eliminating the need to chase down invoices. Plus, I no longer have to manually create invoices because the Worksome portal automatically generates them for me. The setup was super easy and quick, which was a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

I wish there were more job opportunities listed on their freelance portal

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksome tracks my invoices, manages agreements, contracts, and compliance effortlessly. It automates invoice creation, so I don't have to do it manually.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> "Eliminating the need to chase down invoices" is one of the best one-line descriptions of what Worksome does. Guaranteed payments, auto-generated invoices, full visibility on when you'll get paid. No more awkward follow-up emails.

On job listings: Worksome works differently from open freelance marketplaces. The roles you see come from companies whose talent pools you're part of, so it's more curated than a job board.

Thanks Suzanne!
Mathias

 ### 40. Effortless Payment Management with Great Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I really appreciate Worksome for handling my payment as a freelancer for Moonbug. I like the responsiveness of the helpful staff, which makes dealing with issues pleasant. The ability to easily see my previous payment requests and payslips is quite valuable. Also, I found the initial setup of Worksome to be very easy.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

I would really appreciate a more up-to-date way to track incoming payslips, however this is likely specific to me because of the way Moonbug handles payment.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksome streamlines payment processing, handling automatic tax, pension, and student loan deductions. I value the payment requests feature and can easily access previous requests and payslips.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Automatic tax, pension, and student loan deductions all handled without you having to think about it. That's the kind of invisible heavy lifting Worksome is built for.

On payslip tracking: noted. We're improving real-time visibility across the payment lifecycle, so you can see exactly where things stand without guessing. Should get better soon.

Thanks Alex.
Mathias L.

 ### 41. Secure Contracts, but Needs Marketplace Improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miguel C. | Branding Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I like Worksome for creating secure contracts and an easy payment method, which as a freelancer, makes it a secure way to get contracted and paid. The initial setup was easy as well.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

The Marketplace section is confusing and could be better designed. UX-wise, it could be better. It is not easy to search for roles; the search bar is almost nonexistent because it keeps showing the same roles. Also, it could have more roles. The Profile section is not very appealing.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Worksome to access briefs and projects. It's an easy and secure way to get contracted and paid, with features like secure contracts and a simple payment method.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Glad the contracts and payments side feels solid. That's the foundation we want to get right.

The marketplace feedback is detailed and helpful. Search, role discovery, profile design. All areas we're actively working on.

Thanks for being specific, it genuinely helps us prioritize.

 ### 42. Intuitive and Streamlined Invoicing Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Linh D. | Account Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I use Worksome for freelance invoicing, and I find it so easy to use. I appreciate how it combines freelance invoicing and expenses in one place. The messaging contact feature is really beneficial, allowing me to message someone real and get an answer on a wide range of topics. Worksome is really intuitive, simple, and the functionality is straightforward. The initial setup was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

NA

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksome helps me with freelance invoicing and expenses in one place. It's intuitive and easy to use, and I appreciate the ability to quickly message someone for answers on various topics.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Hi Linh, thanks for the review! I’m really glad the invoicing and expense features are making your life easier. We put a lot of heart into making sure you can reach a real person when you have questions, so I'm happy to hear that the messaging feature is hitting the mark for you. Thanks for being part of the Worksome community!

 ### 43. Intuitive UI, Helpful Support Chat, and Reliable Performance

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Achmad A. | Pemilik, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

The support chat is really helpful. The UI is easy to understand, intuitive! And always works with no hindrance.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

I think the AI needs to be upgraded so it could solve real, nuanced problem without the assistance of real human support.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contract and invoice making is really benefiting me. I do not need to make it myself manually.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Glad the platform feels intuitive and reliable. That's the baseline we obsess over.

The AI point is a good one, and it's exactly where we're investing heavily right now. We're building AI-native workflows across the platform and opening up through MCP (Model Context Protocol) and our GraphQL API, so Worksome becomes smarter and more connected to the tools you already use. The goal is exactly what you're describing: AI that handles the nuanced stuff, not just the basics. More to come soon.
Mathias, Worksome

 ### 44. Efficient Paperwork Management with Quick Payments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex E. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I use Worksome for a client who requires the relevant paperwork that Worksome provides. It allows me to easily accept projects or jobs from the agency with set budgets and timeframes. I find it easy to use, and payment is quick once accepted by the client.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

I found it difficult to get a P45 a while ago for a mortgage application. If it was possible to get these types of paperwork online, that would be ideal.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Worksome for providing relevant paperwork and to easily accept projects with set budgets and timeframes.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Hi Alex, thanks for the review. It’s great to hear that the budget and timeframe tools are helping you accept projects smoothly and that the payments have been quick on your end. I’m sorry to hear about the stress with the P45 for your mortgage - that’s exactly the kind of friction we want to remove.

We are actively working on making more of that essential paperwork available directly in the platform to make those real-life milestones much easier for you. Thanks for being with us.

 ### 45. Standout Interface and High-Quality Company Curation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Onur E. | Product Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

The interface and the curation/quality of the companies/teams. It's a rarity or standing out from the linkedin, indeed sort of crowd.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

Less feedback coming from the clients. Lesser projects as contractors we see than other platforms. I use YunoJuno and Malt too. the pain point for all these products are actually same. You don't know what you are missing and why the company just don't like to go along with your skillset.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It feels like there is hope. I can find a right contract from all around the globe especially EU.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Love hearing that we stand out from the noise. That's intentional.
One thing worth knowing: Worksome works quite differently from YunoJuno or Malt. We're not a marketplace that owns the talent pool. Worksome is a vendor-neutral management layer where companies import and manage their own talent sources, whether that's their existing freelancers, staffing agencies, or external pools. No markups, no bias toward a proprietary network.

That's why volume feels different here. The briefs you see come directly from companies who've built their own curated talent pools on the platform, not from an open marketplace.

The feedback transparency point is fair though, and honestly a challenge across the whole FMS space. We're working on giving freelancers more visibility into where they stand when they've expressed interest in a brief. You shouldn't be left guessing.

Thanks for the review.

 ### 46. Easy to Use, Fast and Helpful Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter B. | Translation Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

It was relatively easy to work with and any issues are very quickly sorted with their support team.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

Contract extensions don’t follow an intuitive path and that did confuse me — however it would be easy if you were getting multiple extensions

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gave me an easy platform to collaborate with my employers

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Contract extensions should be simpler, you're right. It's one of those flows that makes sense once you've done it a few times but shouldn't require that learning curve. We're working on it.

Glad support has been quick when you've needed them. Thanks for the review.
Mathias, Worksome

 ### 47. Efficient Billing, User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gemma B. | Senior Account Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I like using Worksome for billing my employer because it's great for expenses and quick invoicing. I really appreciate its simple interface and having everything in one place. The expenses feature is also really easy to use, which makes handling my expenses straightforward. The initial setup was pretty simple too.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

I wonder if there's an app for Worksome because it would be easier for handling expense receipts.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Worksome great for expenses and quick invoicing with a simple interface that keeps everything in one place.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Glad the billing and expenses flow feels simple. That's the goal: one place, no friction.
On the mobile app question, it's something we hear and it's on our radar. For now the platform is fully responsive on mobile browsers, but a dedicated app for things like snapping expense receipts would definitely make life easier. Noted.
Cheers,
Mathias

 ### 48. Worksome: Easy to Use with Prompt, Helpful Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

Worksome is easy to use, clearly providing options and support if needed.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

At first, Worksome's payment request was a bit challenging to figure out. It didn't always prompt me to fill out the timesheets for the week before submitting my invoice. Overall performance and support was prompt and helpful. In terms of AI/Intelligence, I wasn't aware of those features during my time on the site.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksome helped me keep track of invoices and payments made in an organized, efficient, and affordable way.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Good shout on the timesheet-before-invoice flow. That sequencing should be more obvious, and we're improving it.

On the AI side: we've recently launched Worksome Intelligence, which includes an AI assistant that can help with things like checking payment status, pulling up contract details, or answering questions about your engagements. Worth exploring next time you're on the platform. It's designed to save you the clicking around.

Glad the support team came through when you needed them. Thanks for the review.
Mathias

 ### 49. Easy to Use, Fast and Responsive Support from worksome

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

Easy to use, with good service for the end user. I had trouble getting paid by my contractor through my own error, and the team at worksome were responsive and fast, providing solutions and keeping me informed of what was happening.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

So far, I haven’t found any downsides, and there’s nothing I dislike.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I hadn’t entered enough digits for my bank details, but it was resolved very quickly. Also, changing the currency wasn’t a problem and was handled personally over email.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> I'm really glad to hear that our support team was able to jump in and fix that bank detail issue so quickly for you. We know how stressful anything to do with payments can be, so we make it a priority to stay fast and responsive. It's also great to know the currency change was handled smoothly over email - we really try to keep that personal touch even as we grow.

Cheers, Mathias

 ### 50. Effortless Freelancer Engagement, Needs Better Role Matching

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ian T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksome?**

I like that Worksome is easy and unobtrusive to use. I appreciate that they regularly approach me with opportunities rather than me having to reach out. The initial setup was very easy and simple, taking just a few minutes using my online profiles.

**What do you dislike about Worksome?**

The understanding of what roles are appropriate for me aren't always accurate from my background.

**What problems is Worksome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Worksome to find work as a freelancer in the creative, advertising industry. It gives me a regular supply of short-term contracts.

**Official Response from Mathias Linnemann:**

> Glad it's been easy to use and that opportunities are coming to you rather than the other way around. That's how it should work.

On role relevance: it's worth double-checking that your skills and experience are fully up to date on your profile. That has a big impact on which briefs get matched to you.

Thanks for the review.
