I cannot upload all my LinkedIn info directly - I often end up de-prioritizing it because I still have to enter the same information again. That’s why my profile isn’t always up to date, and over time I even remove it from other profiles because it falls so far behind. There’s also a delay with notification emails: when I receive an answer, it sometimes takes hours before the email arrives. I hear you on the manual profile updates - we’re looking into how AI can help automate that data mapping from LinkedIn so you don't have to keep re-entering information. I’ve also noted the notification delay and the request for a mobile app. One thing to keep in mind is that Worksome is a Freelance Management System (FMS) rather than an open marketplace, so the goal is for your profile to work for you as a gateway to private client talent pools without you needing to constantly 'hustle' for assignments. It has been popular amongst my clients because it simplifies onboarding and raising invoices. Starting new roles has been easier to set up with the client, from accepting contracts to getting paid, while also adhering to compliance and payroll requirements. There are also clear updates on when I will be paid, which I appreciate for the visibility and transparency. Pricing on fees and what i have been paid is also clear. The website performs well and i found it easy to navigate and find relevant information. Such as filling in timesheets, reviewing contracts and getting approvals. I’d really prefer more feedback on the state, status, and stages of my application. At times, it also feels like some jobs remain listed even when they’re no longer active. More broadly, I’d like clearer status updates throughout the process, even if it’s just an automated message confirming my application has been received. Ideally, there would be more detail beyond that too, for example, whether candidates have already been shortlisted, or any other indication of where the job posting is in its process. I believe it is focusing on addressing client issues around compliance, onboarding paperwork and payments between clients and contractors. The goal is to make the process easier for both sides, so resources can be brought in quickly and without the delays that often occur, particularly in large corporations where compliance and governance can be a real pain. So it is making those aspects easier for me and them. When I started using Worksome, my payments were always late, and the support wasn't able to tell me what was wrong. I had to open an account in a new bank to resolve the issue. To be honest, the old payment process was much easier for me because it was entirely automated, and I didn't have to do anything other than check if the invoice was correct. That's the standard we hold ourselves to. On the early bank issue: cross-border payments can sometimes hit snags depending on the receiving bank's setup, and it sounds like the switch resolved it. Sorry the support team wasn't able to pinpoint it faster though. We've since invested a lot in our payment support capabilities, especially for international freelancers.
