The export report does not include registration dates, there is not any filter for which we could pull the report to just see the registrations as of a specific date. Also when pulling the report we could not find out the changes in registration easily- such as those whose registration might have been removed/deleted/canceled after the last time the report was pulled. As a speaker and participant, whova's features made it easy to connect with participants and other attendees, as well as promote my session and provide handouts. **What do you dislike about Whova?** Some things were a little hard to find, like how to add a copresenter, figuring out uploading handouts, and finding the social promotion features. When a time shifts forward or backward, organizers can push out messages to attendees alerting them. This actually happened at our Annual Business Meeting. Early schedules said our Service Awards dinner would begin at 6 p.m., but it was shifted to 6:30 p.m. and a cocktail reception in a different location was scheduled from 6-6:30 p.m. **What do you dislike about Whova?** There is nothing that I dislike per se. For instance, I was talking with someone outside of one of the rooms, his coworkers showed up and interrupted our conversation, but you could tell he still wanted to talk. So I looked at his name tag and did an attendee search and found him. Sent him a direct message and we continued the conversation over the messages tab throughout the week. Also, I did this with everyone I met. It was really quick to find someone and continue on a conversation beyond face-to-face. **What do you dislike about Whova?** The notifications got confusing because they were all piled into one notification icon. It would be better to split the notifications as to the ones that come from your messages vs. the ones that come from specific channels. I couldn't keep up with the notifications throughout the event. Maybe have it so that the notification that is tied to something you said is clickable and it takes you to the actual reply of your comment rather than the comments in general where I'd have to go through all of the comments just to find that one reply. **What problems is Whova solving and how is that benefiting you?** It would be great to have a feature where anyone that I "bookmarked" and if I had messaged them and they responded, I should be able to export their info so I can contact them after the event. ### 11. When I scan their QR code, their contact information is mostly filled out, which is great for us. **What do you dislike about Whova?** I am unsure. Considering I just used it to scan leads, I don't have much interaction with the app. However, I do like the instant messaging with the event organizers, and it does provide a list of attendees and vendors. This is great if I needed to contact a vendor regarding a potential partnership. **What problems is Whova solving and how is that benefiting you?** Well my program director was the one who set up the account for the event. But I have an account from previous events using Whova. So for whatever reason, when I would scan a QR code, I would get the information from the attendee, but the it wouldn't register in the attendees app that they have visited my booth. But when my program director went to the event the following day, it worked just fine. It wasn't the end of the world, but just a small glitch. It was a great way to prepare for the confernece and select my seminars. Once I was at the event, I used it for note taking, mapping of the event and reaching out to other conference participants. **What do you dislike about Whova?** I would have liked an easy way to transfer my seminar notes to my email or to a Google Doc. Also, if you invted large numbers of ppl to a "meet up", it created a long list of messages in your list, and it appeared to be impossible to sort the list by most recent, so you had to scroll to find most recent replies, or new messages. **What problems is Whova solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ability to better engage with conference delegates. Whova made everything so much easier and fun. The app lets speakers connect with attendees, organizers, and other speakers. I could make and update my speaker profile, upload my slides, and share my contact info with the audience. I had the chance to chat with the attendees before, during, and after the event. I saw who wanted to see my session, answer their questions, and get their feedback. I believe the application was fairly simple for the hosts to use as well. The QR codes made a simplified way to receive credits, and I also appreciated the simplicity it created for ventors to interact with attendees. I loved the biographys for the speakers and I enjoyed the attendance sheet -- making it easier to connect with other attendees on LinkedIn, etc. It truly increased networking capabilities. I also appreciate we could download the session notes. **What do you dislike about Whova?** I didn't have much that I disliked. I just recommend there should be a QR poster that event admin can print from the Whova app that syncs to the Whova Surveys; By placing these posters at the exit of sessions, the QR code takes you to the correct survey quickly, increasing completion rates. Whova could also have a Chat with Host option on the Home screen as a way to reach out to the event hosts with questions and receive streamlined answers. **What problems is Whova solving and how is that benefiting you?** Increased registration, increased engagement, engaged sessions, and increased networking. As someone starting out in a new career field, it is twice as important for me to network and grow my contacts. Attending events that uses Whova allows me to network electronically and in-person efficiently and with care. Perhaps I miss an opportunity to connect with someone in person; Whova allows me to send a message to that person and connect with them on LinkedIn to provide an additional opportunity to connect in person at a later date. I also enjoy downloading session notes, because it is so important to review sessions at a later date and reach out to speakers at a later date with questions regarding a real-time work issue. ### 30. I also appreciate the event listings and ability to add. I've been to conferences that didn't use Whova, and the impact on my ability to gain awareness was eye-opening. Finally, I appreciate that Whova keeps exchanges I had at the previous conference so that I can review if appropriate. **What do you dislike about Whova?** I couldn't figure out how to login on my computer this time. This made it challenging to drag-and-drop certain event details into my usual filing system and calendars. Some links didn't work, e.g., folks' LinkedIn addresses. As far as customer support, Whova's got the best team, hands down. - The tutorials and workshops were very helpful as well. - It was super easy to put the full agenda on our website. This year we were able to launch our agenda probably about four months prior to the conference, and make changes quickly. - The templates have been tremendously useful. So uploading the program templates, and the speaker and attendee templates, we use all of those resources. - Speaker center was awesome, we sent sent all of the speakers a link where they could go through and upload their bio and their headshot, and complete things on the back end. - This app helped us with communication at our conference, if we had a change of where networking session is, I could just simply send out a send out that announcement, it really helped with the communication, not only from us to the participants, but within as well. - The check in process was very easy, it was really as simple as just staging people at the door with their phones in hand and scanning people as they go in. - The name badge feature was really easy, too. We were able to have the same template and change colors for sponsors, speakers, and regular attendees. **What do you dislike about Whova?** There is nothing I can really think of. My favorite parts of the app were the overall agenda, where I could find all of the sessions for the conference, keynotes, exhibitors, meet-ups, and special events. Whova also has a place to make my agenda from the offerings at the conference and allows me to customize for personal meetings I arrange with members. As a speaker, I could see who was interested in my sessions, garner their information, and communicate with them before and after the conference. It allowed me to ask questions and to make a poll to gain their feelings on the topics that would be presented. This was very useful in making 'relationships' with those who came to the sessions, and it drove more members to attend. I also like the reminder setting. I also like that all attendees information was available. If you meet someone new - you could like up their contact info on the app. **What do you dislike about Whova?** I would have liked a filter on the chats. Or maybe something that showed the best way to sort chats.
