My experience with Whova during the PRO Fall Convention & Trade Show was outstanding. Whova offered clear setup instructions, a smooth registration process, access to presenters' handouts, and a Certificate of Completion for each participant. I appreciated how easy it was to access and navigate the platform. I also valued the up-to-date information provided throughout the event, as well as the feature that allowed me to see who else was attending the conference. I have no complaints about Whova. It has consistently provided excellent service during the last 3 Conferences/Trade show I attended. Being a recent attendee to Women of Steel I found their use of the Whova app to be extremely beneficial in connecting with others who I would have not had the chance to meet otherwise. It was interactive, with polls and Q&A for the sessions, incorporated some meetups, and I was able to connect with some potential future clients. I love the way it integrates with Linkedin. I added a number of new connections and look forward to introducing myself. I am going to go through the attendees now that the event is over and see who else I can network with. As a vendor, being able to scan each participant and getting their contact info was amazing. Usually you have to pay a lot of money for this, and while I'm sure the organizer may have had to pay extra, as an end user I really liked this feature. It's easy to show the benefit of the event to my team and to follow-up with important leads. The scanning was easy and the tags/notes were beneficial too. The only real downside I noticed was the community boards and some of the chats. I'm not sure what they are, and how to use them best. Everything is in one place. From the hotel accommodations and directions, to the meet-ups, the floor map. This app is very easy to use. It is simplified, yet with many functions. You can send/receive messages, notifications, earn points, and see the leaderboard in real time. You can view the sessions, then add the ones that you want to attend to your agenda. During your session you can take notes right there in the app next to the session. This helps remember who said what and helps remember the materials. Also, you can add photos of the power points, so you are not busy writing the whole time. The notes and photos are emailed to you so you can retain them - no half-used notebooks with info scribbled all over them - that you can never find! The amount of notifications made it difficult to know when a notification was from someone trying to make contact or just an announcement from the app developer or a “canned” message from the event directors. The entire conference agenda is included, and there is a section for just the things you registered for, making it easy for you to plan your day. There are announcements for location changes. It also integrates with other calendars you may prefer to use. All the attendees are listed, and you can reach out to them to connect, and if you forgot your business cards, you can scan an attendee's QR code. All the networking options you need are there. In each session, there is the ability to take notes that save to the session, keeping you organized, and you can remember who the presenters were. There are also maps attached to the workshop or seminar locations in case your conference is spread out over a large university campus, for example. It's easy to use and figure out, and I used it multiple times per day on my phone and on my iPad, before I left for the conference, and I will use it after the conference to refer to my notes. When I get a notification about a reply or reaction, it doesn’t take me directly to that specific response, which would be a helpful feature.
