**What do you like best about Textmagic?**

Typing texts by keyboard is so easy. The templates made our communications with patients smooth and speedy. The new email facility has made mailshots much more affordable.

**What do you dislike about Textmagic?**

The desktop app won't work with our older iMacs.

**What problems is Textmagic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our patient database doesn't send SMS and that is the quickest way to contact patients so Text Magic makes that so easy. When a practitioner is ill and we need to contact patients outside work hours, we can log into Text Magic offsite and contact patients efficiently. We also want to contact patients who have opted into email marketing and the cost of things like Mail Chimp was prohibitive but Text Magic emails are a price we can afford.

**What do you like best about Textmagic?**

I appreciate Textmagic's simplicity and ease of use, making it a standout choice compared to other vendors. Setting it up was incredibly simple, which was a pleasant surprise. I like the feature that allows me to set up and save templates, enabling me to use them with ease. The ability to send messages to multiple customers simultaneously is a huge plus. Textmagic effectively addresses our need for real-time customer updates, significantly reducing the number of phone calls we receive and keeping our clients informed. Its straightforward nature and practical features are what make it an invaluable tool for our business.

Nothing. TextMagic is not perfect, but not far off.

If you are a big organisation with an IT department there may be other or even better options, but for me on my own, Text Magic is just perfect.

I run a mower servicing workshop and Text Magic gives me fast communication with my customers and also a second channel as a backup to emails.

Very easy to use. I was hesitant to buy a monthly package so went month to month for several years. Now that I am sending more frequently I upgraded to monthly amount. But it is easy to change if my needs change. The messaging feature is good as well. Good notifications by email.

Can't think of anything. Working very well for me.

This was easy to set up and low cost to test. Recommend adding to your small business to reach customers that don't read emails.

As a small business, this is an easy way to reach customers that don't read emails. Inexpensive way to remind about your business. Less clutter than email list. Was very easy for small business to set up and cost effective.

**What do you like best about Textmagic?**

After trying out many texting apps, I discovered Text Magic. I have been using it for over five years, and I haven't found anything else that comes close to offering the same features. My entire texting history is stored, making it simple to search for old messages and resend them if needed. Group texting is effortless with Text Magic, there are no restrictions on how many people you can include in a group message. I use the web app daily and also have the mobile app, which allows me to easily review sent texts and resend them whenever necessary.

There is nothing to dislike! Text Magic does everything you need.

Service is easy and affordable. Support team helped with original validation failed. I tried to use a different service at first and after a month I still couldn't text. I was able text within a few days w/ text magic and it has been working seamlessly since for our needs.

**What do you dislike about Textmagic?**

I don't think we have had any issues with text magic at this time. Oh, I wish it would integrate with Ring Central for a CPAS or w/e its called. But I knew it didn't when we bought the product so hardly a complaint.

**What do you like best about Textmagic?**

I really like how simple and intuitive TextMagic is. Setting up SMS campaigns is quick, and the platform allows me to send messages to thousands of contacts with just a few clicks. The delivery rate is excellent, and I also appreciate the scheduling feature — it helps a lot when managing messages for different time zones. The mobile app is an added bonus for on-the-go use.

**What do you dislike about Textmagic?**

The pricing could be a bit more flexible for smaller businesses or startups. While the pay-as-you-go model works, sometimes I wish there were more bundled plans for bulk usage. Also, the reporting tools, while helpful, could be a bit more detailed or visual in terms of analytics.

Easy to get in touch with customers during the working day as not everyone is able to answer a phone call. You can save templates which saves a lot of time when messaging customers.

There isn't any downsides to Textmagic for me as the user but some of my customers do mention it would be helpful if they could send pictures through.

Saving time when giving customers updates on their job. Helps to get a hold of customers easier if they are busy. Lets the customer know when their vehicles are ready without having to call them and potentially interrupt their day.

It works as designed!  We had a billing matter (making our account tax-exempt) and the customer support folks made it simple, quick, and easy to address the matter and apply our tax exemption.  Honestly, I was surprised about how easy they made the process.  It was seamless and their responses were super-fast - the way customer service should ALWAYS be but seldom is!

Scheduled messages can't be edited from the app - they have to be edited from a browser.

I wish there was a way that if you're sending out mass texts to do in a group format rather than having to spend out to send lots of texts.

Being able to communicate with various people whilst they are out on the job, sending them booking links etc, using bulk text sends, is a lot more efficient than email.

**What do you like best about Textmagic?**

We have been using TM quite intensively for the last few years. Our daily operations depend on it, so it's a lifesaver. We considered various options, but none of them suited our business needs better than TM. With the new design of our interface and other improvements, we are quite happy to continue working with TM for years to come. Customer service is good, but would be even better without outsourcing call centres.

**What do you dislike about Textmagic?**

When things go wrong, it's quite significant. Mostly it's beyond TM, e.g. mobile providers, but the TM customer service team always helps. There were some issues with integration with our email system, but nothing is perfect in this world, so as long as it sorted without much damage, then it's ok.

Direct communication with both our clients and our workers.

Sometimes after so many texts they just don't appear anymore, you have to type the last 4 of the number and it will pop up.

Can't send and receive images, photos, etc and don't believe that the person who replies understands that and there should be a message back to them saying failed or unable to send/ receive photos, we are constantly telling people this. Would be good if this feature was enabled, we are automotive business so pictures of parts, rego's kms, would be good

In above question I said phone verification but am not sure that actually applies, I just use it to communicate with my customers in an efficent way, they can reply to messages over the weekend and after hours without interuppting my non work time

I used it with the COVID Lockdowns while working at a school district. We had to interact more with parents and texting was nice but I didn’t want to give the parents my cell phone number.

Don’t really have anything bad to say about it.

As I say it allowed for me to text parents in a school district without actually giving them my cell phone number.

The History is great, with the ability to Edit and send an SMS makes it quick to create and send new messages.

Occassionally the SSO integration or similar affects my login, although this appears resolved for the last few months.

I like it because it's easy to operate, quick, and not complicated.

Recharging seems inconvenient, and sometimes it requires manual review, which is extremely inconvenient.

It has played a significant role in the global expansion of our company. I hope we aren't too strict with our corporate users, as we need a relatively flexible promotion system. Of course, we will adhere to rules and regulations, and all of this is under the premise of compliance with the law, allowing us greater freedom within that framework.

Previously enjoyed the ability to text from our landline number.

They changed their functionality to be able to text from landline numbers, never informed us, and continued to charge us despite our texts failing for 6+ months.

It is super easy to have a a text go to unread as the function doesnt require a double click, only to have it be open and if you are still in the text on your desktop from the time before and theyu reply it will show as read, we occassionally miss texts

Textmagic makes sending texts easy.  We use it for alerting both for infrastructure issues as well as any potential building emergencies.

There really isn't anything I dislike.  I don't want to make something up just to have something here.

**What problems is Textmagic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a solution that would take email alerts and generate texts.  Textmagic solved this for us.  We simply send an email to the appropriate Textmagic address and it generates texts to the people designated.  We use this for issues within our infrastructure as well as potential issues in our building.  I can send very specific texts to only those designated.  Changing recipients and groups is super easy.  It's also VERY affordable.

**What do you like best about Textmagic?**

It's simplicity. Sending a message is incredibly simple. Just input the number (which autoformats), type your message and hit send. Programming messages and scheduling them to be sent at a later date/time, is also very easy. What is most useful, is the ability to upload pre-written messages that are saved in a library. These messages are then easily sent to new contacts or those in our Saved Contacts. Finally, its very inexpensive and doesn't require any contracts!

**What do you dislike about Textmagic?**

Can't send messages to emails. Which, I know, this is "Text"Magic and not "Email"Magic, but the ability to send a short, text-only message to an email would be ideal.

Problem reaching clients via SMS text easily, economically, and without a contract. TextMagic checks all of these boxes.

I appreciate that I can have a text number to contact my clients through the computer that keeps a thread of the chat like a cell phone would.

**What do you dislike about Textmagic?**

I would love if I could choose which number I am sending through so my clients could call the text number and reach me through my teams number. I also don't like that a longer text costs more - it feels a bit like early cell phones and we've grown past that.

It was simple to setup. Their support is helpful and easy to use. Our customers love being able to text our main company landline. I integrates with Zapier. So, we can send our customers automated text messages.

I am unable to connect new landline phone numbers. However, that may be more of a regulatory issue than an issue with Text Magic.

**What do you like best about Textmagic?**

I love that I can use my landline number and get the texts messages on my PC, get email notifications of the texts, and even use the TextMagic app so I can receive work texts on my personal phone that uses a different phone number. I've been quickly assisted by a knowledagle person when I've called cutstomer support. Price, integrations, implementaion have all been great and easy! I use it every day.

**What do you dislike about Textmagic?**

The app on my phone works great and I use my web browser to use TextMagic on my PC. But the "desktop app" started having loading problems so I stopped using it and that is why I do it from the web browser instead.

The ability to use a landline phone number as a "textable" phone number so my customers have another form of contact to reach me. I needed an actual landline for my business purposes and I'm glad I can use the same number to send and receive texts through the TextMagic service.

Using my landline number and not a mobile number.  I had an Employee that used her cell to text pictures to Customers,  they would call her cell for company business.  When she left she quit answering texts and calls or directed Customers somewhere else!  Now I spend $20 to $30 per month and use my landline number.  Cheaper than a dedicated cell plus texts can be read on any computer!

Nothing that I have found!  It works great!

Like I said, used to be a good company.  The web interface was strong, the mobile app lacked basic features like tags though.

Customer service is terrible, we haven't been able to use our numbers for over a year and they won't fix whatever is broken.

We used to use TextMagic to communicate with our clients outside of email, but not anymore.

In 2022 and 2023, we have informed you on multiple occasions that local US numbers now require a 10DLC registration. This is an industry-wide requirement, which is why your US local number cannot be used for texting. 

Regarding the unwanted incoming texts, it is important to note that all virtual numbers, including mobile numbers, are reused. It appears that your virtual number belonged to a different business previously. We can replace it for you free of charge.

There is very little that I like about Textmagic at this point.  That it works most of the time is about the best I can say.

Customer support is rude.
1. Chats pop in as "read" causing them to be missed.
2. Reports of chats not received consistently.
3. Rate increase was drastic.  Now one of the more expensive providers.  And the messaging to clients about the rate increase was very poorly done.

We do not use texting primarily for sms marketing--we use it as the primary method of customer support.

I was hoping for a smooth experience like id had before.

**What do you dislike about Textmagic?**

It wasn't until AFTER I spent the money and sent the messages (that were never delivered) that I learned about the FCC rules for mass texting. No apologies, No refund. No assistance to help make the message compliant. It was a time-sensitive issue and I got zero use out of the money and time I spent.

**What problems is Textmagic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used TM in 2022 to send the same message out to several hundred clients at once. It was slick. I tried again in 2023 and went through the whole process, paid and sent the text out before being told my text message needed to be more FCC-compliant. It was not solving a problem, but creating a bigger problem. And there was no help making things right.

I really can't think of anything other than it took us too long to find TextMagic!

We chose Textmagic because it works well with Make.com, and has a good mobile app.

The pricing has become too high, in addition, there's a $2 fee each time you add credits to your count by the credit card company.

It allows us to commincate quickly and easily with our membership. We auto load our contacts weekly, and send out emails as needed.

After 16 years of loyalty you gave us a massive price rise which made me look elsewhere. In the end I got the same for less and better support.
