**What do you like best about Tactic?**

From a company perspective, it seems an excellent tool as it helps the company be more organized and aware of who the people are working on any scheduled date. It allows the management to quickly identify the employees' whereabouts and approach them if needed.

**What do you dislike about Tactic?**

So far, I can't see a downside other than the time you need to log in to it. It would be better if there is some integration that it might have with other tools that are used to track the employee's login.

**What problems is Tactic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us identify which desks are available for use so that we won't have people struggling to get a station to do their work on. It also helps us identify the whereabouts of the other employee

**What do you like best about Tactic?**

I like Tactic because it has a fairly simple user interface. It's easy to use and straightforward to understand. The simplicity is really helpful as there aren't too many options, which keeps it streamlined.

**What do you dislike about Tactic?**

They recently added a feature where if you select the desk, it goes into floor plan view or zooms in, which I think is unnecessary. It's like an extra step, so I would remove that feature that's been added. There were a few teething issues during setup. I don't recall exactly what they were, but it was a little bit difficult to set up due to some Nuance applications we tried to account for.

I use Tactic to book desk space, meeting rooms, boardrooms, and parking spaces in the shared office.

**What do you like best about Tactic?**

I really like how Tactic facilitates nimble decision-making through its visual open and easy booking interface. The ability to see where teammates are and resolve tasks next to them has revolutionized our workflow. I appreciate how the app makes data of office users transparent, showing exactly which areas are popular and which are not, allowing us to be much more agile. The recent redesign has made the experience more intuitive and powerful, keeping everything centralized and easy to manage.

I haven't found anything to dislike about the platform. It has met every one of our requirements, and the transition was incredibly smooth. If I had to be extremely nitpicky, I would say I'm just looking forward to see even more integration with our other project management tool. But as I understand, the app is highly functional and does exactly what it promised.

The most useful part for me is definitely how intuitive the booking process is. The initial setup was smooth and hassle-free, and I would love to recommend it 10 out of 10.

I think, if I had one major frustration, it is that you can't actually adjust the room layout or maps yourself within the software. If we move a desk or reconfigure a section of the showroom, which we do fairly often for a new display, we have to send the updated map back to the tech team and wait for them to make the changes. I understand they want to keep the map high quality, but for someone like me who likes to be hands-on, it feels a bit restrictive. I would love to see a self-service tool, where I can make a minor tweak or rename a room on the fly without having to start a support ticket and wait for a turnaround.

**What problems is Tactic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tactic to manage capacity and avoid overcapacity in our creative showroom. I would like to see the platform's performance consistency improved. Under high traffic scenarios or specific network conditions, the interface can become a bit slower than usual. While it's still usable and the lag is acceptable, performance optimization should be a priority in future updates. Small delays in loading maps or room lists can add up to frustration for users. A bit more polish on the responsiveness would take this tool from great to nearly perfect. I had to point out an area for growth, it would be the platform's performance consistency. Under certain high-traffic scenarios or specific network conditions, we’ve noticed that the interface can become a bit slower than usual. While the system remains completely usable and the lag is within an "acceptable" range, I would definitely like to see the development team prioritize performance optimization in future updates. When you are managing a global fleet of offices, even small delays in loading maps or room lists can add up to frustration for the end-users. A bit more polish on the responsiveness would take this tool from great to nearly perfect

Its integration with Microsoft Outlook centralizes resources, resolves reservations swiftly, and boosts employee satisfaction. The centralized dashboard accelerates troubleshooting and improves organizational efficiency. The main challenge Tactic has resolved for us is the fragmentation of our meeting room management. Before implementing this, we struggled to maintain a unified view of our global resources, which often led to confusion and double-bookings across different time zones. Tactic has successfully consolidated our meeting rooms directly into our existing Outlook architecture, creating a single source of truth for the entire company. It has effectively eliminated the "scheduling silo" problem, making it much easier for employees to use the office spaces we provide. From the admin side, it has also solved the problem of slow troubleshooting; with the centralized dashboard, I can now identify and fix booking conflicts or resource issues much faster than I ever could with our previous manual setups.

I really appreciate Tactic's Google Calendar integration, which is a standout feature for our team. I also value the responsive support team; they are incredibly quick to provide solutions, which isn't always the case with enterprise software. If I had to pick a pain point, it would be the human element of the check-in process. While the app makes checking into a room very simple, I find that staff frequently forget to do it once they start their meetings. This is frustrating because the system is set to auto-release the room if no one checks in. Which then makes the room appear available to someone else even if the meeting is in progress. I'd love to see a more aggressive reminder system or maybe a geofencing feature that automatically checks people in when they enter the room area.

I also really appreciate the recurring booking feature, which lets me set my preferred spots for every Tuesday and Thursday without manually updating the calendar every week.

If I have to be honest, the mobile app can be a bit let down sometimes. I would definitely experience moment where the app lags right when I'm trying to check in at front desk or it fails to sync properly with my Outlook calendar, leading to some confusing notification. The customization options for the personal dashboard also will be restricted. I wish I could tweak the layout more to see only the info I care about. I also appreciate how Tactic eliminates unpredictability in office capacity by giving me a real-time view of the floor plan, which reduces office anxiety. It resolved the administrative nightmare for our leader by letting them track office utilization, helping us adjust space allocation based on actual data rather than guessing. The Slack integration is a game changer because I get a little ping every morning telling me which desk is reserved, so I don't have to open the Tactic app to remember where I'm sitting. Additionally, the setup was significantly faster and we didn't have to go through long training sessions to book a space. Plus, the pricing of Tactic is a lot more transparent for our midsized team. The interactive office map is easily the best part of the whole platform. It’s not just a static list of numbers; I can actually see a visual layout of our floor and see exactly where my work-bestie or my manager has parked themselves for the day. Being able to click a desk on a 2D map and see it turn green for "reserved" feels much more intuitive than the old spreadsheet system we tried to use. I also really value the "check-in" feature—having to scan a QR code or confirm presence via the app means that if someone doesn't show up by 10:00 AM, their desk gets released back into the pool for someone else to use.

I like very much that Tactic is being quite integrated with Microsoft Teams and Slack. I love that being a DevOps engineer I can book my desk from chat itself without me opening browser to book it. Very smooth, user friendly interactive office map. The sync is instantaneous and I never see anything except correct status.

**What do you dislike about Tactic?**

The app is slowly loading the floor map at times when our internet is going in and out. Also, the admin settings for setting up new office zones are a little bit confusing on first time setup. I wish they had better API docs for grabbing booking data for our internal dashboards!

**What problems is Tactic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re an entirely hybrid team, and previously it was difficult to know who would be in the office which day. Tactic solves this by making it transparent who is available in the schedules of all team members. “We make more use of that because we can then plan our sprint meetings much better when we know exactly when everyone is in the building.

They were missing some HR planning tools that we had in our last software but they actually added them in the most recent update which was awesome!

I appreciate the redesign of Tactic's user interface, which has become more intuitive and facilitates a seamless user experience. The updated version has significantly improved the ease and efficiency of workspace management. 
Additionally, I greatly appreciate how it integrates with other software to accurately identify the individuals scheduled to be at work on a specific date.

At this time, I have not observed any issues or malfunctions with the software. I am quite satisfied with the overall improvements made.

I don't like the fact that is someone releases a reservation, and a desk becomes available the previous person that had the reservations phots stays in the desk, the desk is available however it looks like it is reserved.  I don't think the process of changing the times on the time picker is an intuitive one.

The opportunity for our team to specify a place to sit when they are coming into the office.  This allows for collaboration and community while still supporting a "hotel" approach to facilities management. Tactic allows people to understand who is going to be in and when, then allows them to co-locate into the same area. The incorporation of facility mapping as well as the ability to set permanent locations has really streamlined our management of seating for our hybrid workforce. I would also add that the Tactic team is very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

No downsides at all. It works well, and is very reasonably priced.

Tactic allows us to manage and plan station assignments for a different line of businesses and teams where employees are required to check in and reserve stations for monitoring purposes. Easier to find the people you need to see by just checking where they are logged in. Additionally, this will inform the management how many people are logged in in case of any emergencies. Very useful if for some reason, a technical issue arises in the equipment, we can easily track the people who used it. We use this daily to prevent station swapping and make it easier for us to look for an available one

Update for my previous feedback. 

"Kind of confusing sometimes and not responding. I had 12:00 AM schedule and "Check in" does not appear until 12:00AM. This could be perfect if the system would let me login atleast 5 minutes before 12:00AM. So far right now I'm not with 12:00AM time in and the system do allow me to login 5mins early."

The above feedback seems to have been fixed already. so far I don't see any issues with this app aside from the problem on the first login page with a button sign-in with google. This button is not working even though I am already logged in via my work email. As a work around, I needed select continue with password then select an option "Signin with google" from there. Having this fixed will save a few more minutes and effort.

What I like the most about Tactic is that you can book a station for a few days. This way, you no longer need to book your station daily. You can have it reserved for you ahead of time.

If there is one thing I don't like about Tactic, that would be that your reservation is removed if you fail to check in for an hour. With this, I will need to reserve my station again, which is a hassle. You should leave the reservation for at least 4 h hours.

**What do you like best about Tactic?**

Tactic is very helpful when it comes to checking the scheduled seats in our office since it's hard for us to check sometimes whether there's someone accommodating it. In addition, it serves as a great reference for some unforeseen accidents that may happen so each supervisor would know the headcount and where to locate each people inside the office by checking the seats.

**What do you dislike about Tactic?**

None so far. Everything is up to date with Tactic. :)

**What problems is Tactic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping our team designate and check for available meeting rooms and it's benefiting me well since I don't have to roam around just to check where I can locate it. Tactic was like a floor plan for me.
