"The real value? Fewer dependencies between teams"
What do you like best about Storyblok?

The component-based architecture, as it isn’t just a feature but it changes how teams think about content. Leading a 10-person dev team working on multiple mid to enterprise customers, the biggest lever I see is that Storyblok dissolves the boundary between development and content editing without either side compromising. Enabling efficiency improvements across the board. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storyblok?

The plugin marketplace still has room to grow and a couple of bulk actions need to be improved.

You have to go on the hunt for some real good community plugins. They exist, but its difficult to find them if you are not on discord and the community hubs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unrivalled flexibility, outstanding engagement"
What do you like best about Storyblok?

Storyblok gives the power over to you, the user, you are to modify it and add the feature and functionality that you need to the system, making it truly headless and fully customizable. Easy for editors to add new content. Great customer support and regular follow-ups according to your needs. We use it across many countries with 100+ users, every day. What do you dislike about Storyblok?

It could have more features out of the box, being a company that relies solely on consultants, building new stuff takes time. User management could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Content Management with Flexible Visual Editing"
What do you like best about Storyblok?

how easy it makes managing content for my clients. The visual editor is a huge time-saver, and I love that I can build flexible components without locking myself into a rigid structure. It fits perfectly with my Next.js workflow and just makes the whole process smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storyblok?

The only downside for me is that the UI can feel a bit slow at times, especially with larger projects. Nothing major just small delays here and there that break the flow a little. The learning curve was a little more than I thought. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust CMS with Visual Editing, Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about Storyblok?

I appreciate Storyblok's robust CMS capabilities that allow for visual-led content editing for websites without the need for extensive coding. I love its freedom in defining content blocks and the visual style of structuring content, which suits both my personal and work-related website projects efficiently. Furthermore, the simplicity of Storyblok's initial setup greatly impressed me, making it a straightforward process to get started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storyblok?

I feel that Storyblok could improve by incorporating insights from Sanity regarding schema-based workflows. Additionally, I find the visual interface of Payload and Sanity CMS to be cleaner and more robust in comparison to Storyblok. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Content Management with a Learning Curve"
What do you like best about Storyblok?

I find Storyblok great for projects across my company, including an eCommerce platform, a PLC site, and an educational site. I appreciate how it solves the reusability of components, making it easy and effective for content editors to use them. I like that it's like a sandbox, allowing flexibility to tailor it to my needs, such as deploying over 20+ domains using one space. The folder-level architecture and restrictions make this possible, and I find that very valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storyblok?

Copying and pasting the contents is easy if you are using one space per project, but we need to manually copy and paste contents in the folders as we cannot use the dimension app. Another thing is the commercetools app; it is not possible to add multiple markets to the same space, which causes problems. Also, the onboarding made us a little bit nervous since there is less walkthrough for developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best CMS"
What do you like best about Storyblok?

Having all projects managed from one place is so easy now with Storyblok. You can easily use Storyblok for all platforms that you need (web: vue, angular, react ... mobile) in a very easy way. Getting data is so easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storyblok?

Once when you start to use Storyblok it’s easy and fast. In my opinion, pricing is probably expensive for the start but in comparison to others, it's still cheaper. But once when you start using it you can check partner benefits and becoming a partner is probably the best option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Editing and Real-Time Updates"
What do you like best about Storyblok?

I love how user-friendly and easy to use Storyblok is. The updates are quick to reflect in real time, which is a huge plus. The thing I like most is how simple it makes everything; I can update content instantly, and the visual editor is super intuitive. It really removes a lot of the technical hassle, allowing me to see changes in real time and update pages without needing to dig into code. It reduces back and forth with developers. The overall simplicity of the visual editor really makes a difference for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storyblok?

The main thing that could improve is the learning curve at the beginning and how some components feel a bit rigid unless they're customized. Also, bigger content updates sometimes need developer help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Setup with Powerful Visual Editor"
What do you like best about Storyblok?

I really appreciate the ability to build our own boilerplate with Storyblok, which gives us a fast and easy start for different clients, and then we can hand off the project later on. The backend experience we've set up for editors using the visual editor helps them manage and maintain their websites much better than before. I also find its integrations very useful. The visual editor is key for us as it allows people to manage content rapidly for massive sites with multiple product SKUs. I love how easy it is to set up editorial content quickly with well-controlled frontend customization, and it's really quick to customize the layout across breakpoints. Storyblok is really easy out of the box, which I find very convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storyblok?

The pricing structures can be pretty hard on smaller companies. The leap from two users to five users being a $100 a month is quite hard on us. Smaller scale companies don't need all of the extra bandwidth and features that come with it. It's just the user seats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Non-Tech Teams with Ease"
What do you like best about Storyblok?

I use Storyblok for managing our website, and I really enjoy its ease of use and the intuitive UX/UI. It's very straightforward, making editing and creating super easy. I appreciate how anyone on the team can jump in, create landing pages for campaigns or content, and work on things together without needing technical knowledge. The ability to easily create content, duplicate website pages, and pause them as needed has made our team more efficient and saved us time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storyblok?

The asset limits are sometimes too low for the package it offers. Also, it can be a bit of a pain in the backend for the technical person to sometimes configure the elements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
