**What do you like best about Spendesk?**

I find Spendesk simple to use, which makes managing expenses easier for me. I appreciate the virtual card feature because it connects directly to the company account, saving me from dealing with personal accounts and reimbursement processes. The reminders are really helpful for ensuring I upload receipts on time, which keeps my accounting organized. The initial setup was very easy, as the company created an account for me, and I use Google to login seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Spendesk?**

As a normal user, it is fine, but I heard: "As a manager, it is not easy to oversee the company's spending".

**What problems is Spendesk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Spendesk's virtual card connected to the company account, so I avoid handling reimbursements for work expenses. It simplifies managing subscriptions, and I appreciate the reminders for timely receipt uploads, ensuring organized accounting.

It would be useful if it worked without issues or if issues were addressed timely.

**What do you dislike about Spendesk?**

My company has been using Spendesk for a few months. Recently, all cards stopped working hindering the work of a large part of the team that needs to buy various supplies several times a day to keep the business going. I chased daily with customer support. They took several days to identify the issue, initially asking me to top up the account with several £000s first (which I did and it didnt work) and now OVER TEN working days later, no sign of resolution. They are sitting on £15k of our funds and my team is not able to use the cards, having to spend their own money, which is exactly why we contracted Spendesk to avoid. My issue is not being treated with urgency and I at a loss as to what to do next. I want to move away from the platform but feel stuck and unassisted.

Spendesk is not solving any problems at the moment, it hasnt worked for days and I am not getting the support to have it fixed.

The ability to issue virtual credit cards makes it seamless to empower employees to manage their own department subscriptions. This along with department budget functionality makes it easy for them to track their own spend and take ownership of their own wallets.

**What do you dislike about Spendesk?**

The web-based browser version sometimes takes a long time to load and to reflect updates, especially when I’m using the bookkeeping feature.

Ease of including receipts with your own inbox and segmentation of charges. The application is very convenient as it allows you to take a photo of your receipt.

I don't like that you can't have cards in the Apple wallet.

It was nice back in 2020 but now it is far behind of the competition. Bad customer support and AMs.

The off boarding is very slow and non responsive. We are still waiting for our account to close, 4 months after our notice.

**What do you like best about Spendesk?**

At the beginning they were super helpful: During the setup phase I had a contact who was highly engaged and helped to get the onboarding down in a super short amount of time for multiple, global entities.

The users like the UI and the tool works rather well on a day to day business for our colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Spendesk?**

Our key account manager was not responsive, not helpful and didn´t solve ANY of our urgent issues:

They told us to use the NetSuite native integration which was nothing but horrible. Please do not make the mistake to use it. I took us several month to role back to our old manual way and clean up the mess that the integration created. When our CFO escalted this to Spendesk and made it clear that this is a very urgent matter, it took them over a week to even response. They were not able to provide a solution. We are terrible frustrated as a finance crew by the way we are not supported and how badly the integration is that is provided as "native" integration. The documentation and guidance in the integration process was pretty poor as well. 

If you are using NetSuite: Please do not use this product.

The product is just not scalable for us as a company because the integration is just not working.

When we closed our account, they didn't return the nearly £3,000 we had in our account. They stopped responding to us and sent us £100. They have stolen our money. Do not put money into Spendesk.

The tool is easy to use, expense receipts are usually recognized correctly by scanning and expense regulations were easily digitized.

I like that it simplifies the completion of expense report and makes it easier to schedule business travel in one place. Easy to apload receipts and and very convenient.

Very easy to create reports and track expenditures. I have no complaints about the software.

I love how easy it is to pay for things with Spendesk!
Single purchases - Straight forward and simple!
Subscriptions - All easily managed from one dashboard and you can attach receipts to emails or forward to a special address
Even claiming ad-hoc expenses is super convenient via the app and a photo - It takes care of filling in most details and you can submit the claim on the spot!

As a systems admin I also appreciate the ease at which we could integrate it with our SSO provider, making logins easy and secure for all our users.

**What do you dislike about Spendesk?**

If I had to pick one it'd probably be that all subscriptions are only based on monthly pricing - which can make annual subscriptions appear expensive as you need to put year pricing in for a month to create a valid request and mildly panic your approver :D

**What problems is Spendesk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been a big help in managing our subscription spending and ensuring that all charges are accompanied by a valid invoice or receipt.
It's also made ad-hoc purchasing a lot faster, with quicker approvals and alerts and instant access to the payment details so I don't need to rely on others to complete the purchases.

It is so user-friendly. Especially when I upload a receipt, or invoice. Now we use it also to manage expenses, invoices, accounting... Everything is so easy to track

Maybe the VTA part can be tricky. I uploaded a few invoices from the same provider (Edenred) and I don’t know why, but only half of the invoice is taking into account. It's as if the platform can only read half of the page, and it's always with this provider. There is something problematic with the VTA part

It saves me TIME ! No more expenses report to fill, no need to use my personal card and wait for the refund from accountants. Now that I'am also using Spendesk for my invoice management, I have noticed that everything is easy to track : Purchase orders, invoices uploaded, payments...

**What do you like best about Spendesk?**

Spendesk eliminated a very manual process of submitting expenses and invoices with docs and emails. Their platform is intuitive and interactive and actually kind of fun to use too. I can search for submitted expenses and request virtual credit cards for online payments. The process is transparent and secure too.

**What do you dislike about Spendesk?**

I've found that the cost centers that have been set up don't correspond with how I actually track my team's budget but that's hopefully something we can modify for the next fiscal year. Sometimes the virtual credit cards don't work for certain suppliers-it's not really a big nuisance though.

**What problems is Spendesk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spendesk makes tracking payments very fluid and centralized, eliminating manual work and back-and-forths with finance. We don't have to use word files and emails to submit expenses or ask finance if a specific payment has been made, we can just check Spendesk.

Seamless workflows and intuitive mobile app. Great invoice process and fast customer support.
With Spendesk we are getting all our online payments in no time and all invoices to our controlling colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Spendesk?**

Sometimes declined charges are very scanty described. On the other hand: The great customer support has always an answer :-)
And credit cards with company information instead of personal names would be a help.

**Recommendations to others considering Spendesk:**

Super easy tool for virtual credit cards. Works with different company sizes and it is self-explaining for all users. Approving new requests via the mobile app is easy and fast.

**What problems is Spendesk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paying online recurring charges (AdSpends, Licenses) and one-time payments (online shops). Also generating credit cards for local hotel bookings. 
Biggest benefit might be the fast process and easy invoice workflow.

**What do you like best about Spendesk?**

The ability for our different teams to track their budgets in real time. It's honestly been a game changer for us.

**What do you dislike about Spendesk?**

The virtual cards seem glitchy. We often receive the confirmation that a transaction has gone through and second later the merchant will reject it. We usually then get an email from Spendesk saying the card was already use. We are also having issues with merchant such as our grocery supplier, Ocado. They pre-authorise the transaction, which the owner of the card authorises using their Spendesk app. However, the actual payment is only processed on the day of the delivery and the owner of the card doesn't receive a push notification to authorise or reject, but the transaction doesn't go through and the order gets cancelled. We've been using subscription card for this merchant, which has worked for some of our location, but not all of them, despite doing the exact same thing.

**What problems is Spendesk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I mentioned it gives our teams real time insights into their spending habits and budget tracking. As a BCorp, the Spendesk reports have also enabled us to track our suppliers as well as which team(s) uses them and create a benchmark and KPIs to track our progess.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding your experience with virtual cards. We have reached out to our product team to better understand why you experienced this behaviour.

Our cards are set up to be operational with all merchants. However, some merchants have an unusual way of managing transactions, which can interfere with our card processes. We have taken this point into account and we are going to refine our card process to ensure that payments can be made correctly across all merchants. We will be in contact with the merchants and their banks to resolve this type of problem whenever possible.

Our support team also assured me that they are always available to assist with any queries that may arise (via chat or via email). Thank you again for taking the opportunity to raise this issue!

I have not found a feature that I dislike. Easy to  keep and track receipts. Saves alot of time.

It is easy to use the UI is excellent I can navigate easily. Drag and drop of reciepts works well. It is clear what has to be filled in for our company. It is clear for logging reciepts.

**What do you dislike about Spendesk?**

The spendesk email reciept bot is not great it has not work properly yet for me. There is a bug sometimes where my request will be aproved by admin but stays in finance review for a long time. I would ask my admin a month after and we would find out that it was automatically put back. Lately there has been bugs on the bank end at Spendesk

**What problems is Spendesk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Safety when it comes to one time purchace, I feel safe and secure when I can generate multiple cards for one time usage. Espescially on big expenditures the approval system works as a communication between my boss and I if what I am buying is approved that reduces the stress on my end.

Spendesk changes life for all company expenses, it allows for a considerable time saving and security that is much more practical than physical cards. It is a huge time saver for accounting.

It sometimes happens that Spendesk has trouble on certain sites, but it's really very rare! Thank you Spendesk for designing and imagining such a well-made site!

**What do you like best about Spendesk?**

I can centralize all the receipts of my expenses during business trips, and my managers can easily approve it. Additionally, it saves time as the system is almost always right when automatically reading PDFs and images.

**What do you dislike about Spendesk?**

Honestly, there is not a negative point in the use I give to it, however I have heard that from the administrative side is sometimes not the best.

**What problems is Spendesk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have many trips related to my job, it helps me centralize all my expenses so my managers can approve it, and I can follow their approval status and the total quantity that is going to be given back to me.

**What do you like best about Spendesk?**

It's quick and easy to use, both when I'm expensing something and when I'm approving expenses for my team. Everything is laid out really clearly, both on the app and on desktop.

**What do you dislike about Spendesk?**

At the moment, you need to log into your account to see that you're missing a receipt. It would be helpful if you also received notifications via phone or email.

**What problems is Spendesk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us to centralise all of our spending, allowing us to see how we're tracking month to month / quarter to quarter. It also helps us to keep track of how each department is spending their budget.

**What do you like best about Spendesk?**

The invoicing feature saves a lot of time. When the bot works, it's set-up-and-forget, when it cannot use it (for example with software that don't allow sending invoices by mail automatically), the manual upload is very quick too.

**What do you dislike about Spendesk?**

Sometimes having hard limits on cards can be a blessing and a curse. I don't know if it's feasible, but allowing to update the max budget on card + retry the payment after a failed payment because of card budget would be a huge time saver.

**What problems is Spendesk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating card for each Software we use + easily associating my softwares to the right cost center for accounting + managing my team's budget and spend + helping my team get reimbursed during events like offsites etc.

Very user friendly and easy to set up. 
Customer's service is very reactive and has proven to be helpful in the past.

**What do you dislike about Spendesk?**

Some basic features are not included in the basic option where they should have been (i.e memorizing accounting patterns for vendors).
Pricing is rather expensive, starts at 100/month so for small businesses this might be an obstacle.

No more physical debit cards. Easy to use for companies with a lot of people off-site.

Nothing so far, i would not use this platform again cause iam disappointed!

Spendesk has really bad customer Support policy. We have being emailing them for more than 3 months and when they reply back they keep on not serving us and not sending our funds back.

None so far, it only created more

The app is relly simple to use, and using the one off cards is great. I also really like that has your physical card details in the app as well. Very simple to increase your card limit as well.

So far, the only thing that has ever been an issue, is that it isn't a credit card, so sometimes doesn't work at hotels.

that is very easy and intuitive, I can issue as many cards as i need and set up approval flows by cost center and by amount. I like that it sends reminders when you forget to upload the invoice as well.

**What do you dislike about Spendesk?**

Recently we experienced issues with their validation processs. They withheld our funds and we spent more than a week without any money because they couldn't keep track of their processes properly. Not a very good customer service experience. I would also say that they need to work with a big bank so their customer feel safer about having money out there

**What problems is Spendesk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we are using this solution to pay for invoices with small amounts but big volume. The platform is good also to keep track of approvals and the use that they are giving it.

I use spendesk every day and  i'm very happy because, it's simple and easy to use, i'm noticed on the phone'app when my request is accepted, so i recommend it for that.

Maybe, the possibility to change background color or theme ? But i can't find anything to dislike on spendesk, so i just can recommend it to all people who want simply and easy to use app for your fees.

I can ask quickly a budget to buy materials for the studios, my manager accept the demand and i generate a card to buy it. And i use for my fees, easy to send invoices.

I dislike that card's timeout. It can make it tricky when booking hotels in advance, and payment not being taken till the day (had many issues).

I love how easy it is to use and the interface is really intuitive and user friendly. The drag and drop receipt fuctionality is really handy too, as well as the app.

**What do you dislike about Spendesk?**

The reminders can seem slightly passive aggressive which can be stressful. A reminder before the final reminder could be useful. It just means that the team could be a little less anxious.

It helps me solve the problem of expenses tracking, especially when I am on the go and dealing with lots of different clients as an agency. This helps speed up expenses.

Automatic supplier recognition could be a bit more effective, but only a small issue for me.
