I find Restream highly valuable for my podcast and video content management. The platform's user-friendly interface is incredibly appreciated, which makes recording interviews with guests ahead of time a breeze. It seamlessly integrates with platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook, allowing me to easily livestream the prerecorded content. I appreciate how straightforward it is to extract audio and video files for repurposing content, enhancing the usability for creating diverse multimedia outputs. The $19 per month plan struck me as cost-effective, meeting all my basic functional needs without breaking the bank. Setting up Restream was a delight, as it was extraordinarily simple to connect to my social channels without any hassle. Restream efficiently addresses the need to record audio and video interviews and allows for livestreaming them later, adding convenience to my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm frustrated with Restream because they don't allow me to store my recordings for more than fifteen days. This limitation forces me to export and then reupload the files to schedule a live event at a later date, which is time-consuming and annoying. Additionally, the video files are too large to reupload within the platform's limits, requiring me to find another program to condense the files. This process is not only cumbersome but also frustrating enough that I decided to cancel my Restream account. I asked them multiple times if they could do anything to help me but their only recommendations was that I upgrade from my $19/month plan to their $199/month plan so that I could store videos for 30 days instead of only 15. This is not feasible for a small business owner like me who doesn't need all the other functionality that comes with that large of a plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
