What I appreciate most about Restream is how it allows me to expand my message across multiple platforms at once without losing focus on what truly matters. The main issue I have with Restream is the high price. While it provides excellent foundations for broadcasting my live sessions and classes, the subscription cost is quite steep. As an independent mentor managing multiple front, like my educational platforms, podcasts, and mentoring programs, allocating a large portion of the budget to these digital structures can be heavy. A more accessible pricing model would make a huge difference for those of us who are focused on expanding our message and reaching more people without having to worry so much about the constant overhead costs. For the most part, I have not experienced pain points with Restream during the time we've used the service. Any problems have been due to technical issues that were outside of either of our control. But if I had to pick something, I would say that it can be a little hard to find certain features in the dashboard. Restream is the most complete platform out there for both multi-streaming and live shows in general.

The integration with several platforms makes it perfect for syndicating for different destinations while the modular pricing system makes it fair.

The stability and absence of issues or glitches during the shows is notable!

The only thing that has ever happened to me was the initial screen once didn't come back to its orignal state, but it was resolved wuickly by support and since I was not live it was no issue at all - probably my mistake.

There is nothing really to dislike.

Probably the only feature that they could improve would be the Studio.

But dislike is a too strong word. I prefer to say that they could lead the market instead of being at same level with its competitors.

The interface is extremely user friendly and simple to navigate. With a 50 year background in film and television I especially like that it provides a seamless, simple to use, broadcast style stream which comes across looking extremely professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It would be extremely useful to allow more than 8 uploaded videos clips for a stream without having to upgrade. It seems this should be accessible as there seems to be no limit on clips in terms of length, which is a good thing. However I would prefer to see length limits rather than limits on number of clips. The interface is easy to use and navigate. And the tech support is always helpful even if the answer isn't what I want. That being said even when the answer is not what I hoped for, they look into to adding features and often do.

The new features, for the most part, are improvements that help make my streaming easier. Some of them take time to adjust to, but once I get the hang of them I grow to like and depend on them.

I used to use Zoom to stream/podcast and Restream is so much better.

Internet-based software can be tricky when web service is spotty, but since I use an ethernet connection and a high speed service, it really is not an issue.

Pricing can be picky for some, but when compared to other services, I thin Restream offers the most bang for the buck. And when others are increasing their prices, Restream is keeping things affordable.

I use the top end subscription, right below the highest level and it does all it says it will do and more.

While I would like the connections to Apple and Spotify to be built in like other platforms, the ability to multiteam all at one time is pretty slick.

I really don't use other integrations since the ones Restream offers hits the ones I use. When they added Rumble I was very pleased.

The newest offering is the AI clips feature and I'm loving it so far. I wanted to get into the short reels market and now I'm doing it more and more. My channels are growing from it so my reach to more followers is a direct result of that service.

Restream seems to handle heavier loads well for the most part, although I haven't stress-tested it too much. I have contact with other streamers and I hear their issues with other services and I don't have those issues with Restream.

Their tech team is small for the most part and that could be an issue down the road.

There are times when they are catering to streamers that don't match my needs, but I can hardly blame them for doing that.

I retired from customer service jobs over the last part of my work experience and I know what good service looks like. There were a few times when I had to work through experiences like that, however the vast majority of times are good ones.

Restream makes streaming to multiple platforms easy with an easy to read chat app combining all the platforms. This makes my workflow simple to setup, and I've rarely had any fuss with it.

It's priced well for what you get over the course of a year as a heavy user, really helping me to grow my audience on YouTube and Twitch.

When I have had questions the support staff was very quick and helpful.

I could use a few more options in the chat display as most offer a white font. With a little tinkering in CSS you can adjust this, but could be easier.

I think using Restream is a great option for tracking and handling podcasts or live streams and shows. It was a wonderful thing to have the option to stream BIBLE teaching, and I'm able to stick comments or chat into the posts directly during live sessions. I enjoy that I can teach using it, like when discussing scriptures or teachings. Also, I love being able to send email links to my wife and other family members so they can join the live stream seamlessly. So one of the things that I think ReStream can do better at is emailing a lot of update options. I really wish they would send out an email to let you know something is new. Besides the fact I see it new when I get up on Sunday morning. That means they probably do these update changes on the weekend. Then I get up on Sunday morning, start getting everything together. Something is not where it used to be at. It's not really hard to find it. But I mean, you get used to a flow. Without, announcement something that's changed. I love that Restream makes connecting easy with different platforms, allowing me to stream to Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube simultaneously, and I look forward to doing it with TikTok too. The multistream feature is fantastic, as is the layout—it’s really easy. The quality of the video is superb, with options for high resolution. I appreciate the ability to make small clips from long videos, which really helps me save time. Having everything on a web platform is a huge plus because it doesn't use my computer's power or capacity since it’s in the cloud. I find the connection with Instagram a hassle because you have to get a key and set up the video first, which makes it cumbersome. Also, sometimes the clips get stuck, which has happened to me twice. Restream is one of the cost-efficient private stream hosts for embedding a white-label stream on your website. I also find Restream quite simple to use and integrate with different platforms. It allows my client to log in and stream to their accounts even without providing their direct credentials, which makes it really convenient. The lack of stream analytics or live chat in the embedded streams makes it difficult to use in a professional environment. It would be really helpful to have the ability to start pushing an RTMP stream to Restream without it automatically going live. I wish there was a 'go live' button much like YouTube and other platforms have by default. Additionally, I had trouble initially because I was trying to connect an account that had manager access to a YouTube channel but wasn't the dedicated channel itself, and Restream wasn't able to detect the managed account. I use Restream to broadcast to all my social media pages, and it's very easy to use. Restream is perfect for this. It has solved bandwidth issues for me while traveling in a motorhome, as it allows me to stream to multiple platforms without losing signal quality. The recordings feature is a terrific fallback if any issues occur on my end. I also love the feature for making short clips; it's very exciting and makes a huge difference.
