Restream team is adding new features and updates regularly, they have added Restream Live (Stream Directly from the Webcam), Widgets for your sites and OBS, Facebook Live on Personal page on a free account, LinkedIn live. With everything is going live due to pandemic in 2020, Restream has launched "Restram Studio" with this you can directly broadcast to multiple channels directly from your browser. Not only limited to Gaming but, it is Useful for Online classes, webinars with overlay graphics and company logo. Another great feature I like is you can schedule your live stream with uploaded video, so you don't have to be on camera when online. There are some time and event slot limit, but it is useful feature. **What do you dislike about Restream?** In terms of technology Restream is definetly awesome tool, but when you host Facebook Live they will add link to the description like powered by Restream.io for paid users as well, this description need to be edited manually after going live. **Recommendations to others considering Restream:** You are are looking for strait forward tool with multiple integration and awesome support, go ahead with Restream. **What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was using OBS, but with the Restream I can also schedule the live stream when I am not available online. ### 3. It's also great for streaming to multiple platforms, such as Facebook Live and YouTube Live. The support we received while having an issue was also prompt and comprehensive (they have 24/7 chat support). Streaming from their servers, using Scheduler, is also a great solution if you have somewhat spotty internet reception (which we have). We used to get regular disconnects or would have to severely throttle back our quality, now it's just simple and straightforward and we don't have to worry about any of that. It's great! **What do you dislike about Restream?** There's a charge for the main service and then an additional charge for Scheduler. Scheduler is one of the main reasons why we went with this software, and will most likely be well worth the $49 extra per month. It just removes so much manpower from the streaming process when it's all automated. We just check in on the software as we're going live to double check everything is set where it needs to be, then we just sit back and let it go. We did have a random disconnect at one point, which may have had to do with our video bitrate. Their support team was helpful in diagnosing the problem. **Recommendations to others considering Restream:** In all, if you need to stream to multiple platforms simultaneously (like Facebook Live and YouTube Live) then Restream is a no-brainer. **What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used to stream directly from OBS several times a week, which required a lot more hands-on work. It also relied on our somewhat instable internet connection. ### 4. Facebook live, youtube live, twitch, mixer. That's huge. Not having to be selective is truly what the internet is about. I want to reach as many people as possible. This is the best option I have found. I haven't been able to test it's integration with SLOBS, but once I can do that, I have no doubt this is the best streaming/multistreaming option in the world. **What do you dislike about Restream?** The chat isn't perfect. I really feel it takes away from my streaming experience having to have so many other browsers open, just so I can see my chats. The live view is also sluggish. I like to say hello and usually the viewer is already gone. Changing titles is also hit or miss. I have to manually change some things, every time I want to stream. Maybe its a language barrier. **Recommendations to others considering Restream:** Do it, do it, do it. Even if you just want to broadcast to the big 4, do it. Throw in Mobcrush to stream to your gaming facebook page, and you hit all the nails on all the heads. **What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?** Multistreaming to newer audiences, all in one place. It really is quite amazing. I've been able to reach so many more people simultaneously, as opposed to just picking one platform. I started with nvidia's embedded "to facebook" streaming. But that wasn't enough. I couldn't get the interactions I wanted. I did try Mobcrush, and while it was cool, it didn't have near as many options as restream. It really is awesome. ### 6. The ability to have all the analytics from all your accounts in one spot is amazing. It makes it so easy to see how many viewers each platform had while you also can see which one made any revenue as well as which ones did not do as well. It has the ability to run a video at a set time, so a rerun before you go live directing everyone to a certain platform is always helpful as well. **What do you dislike about Restream?** Only dislike is that there are some other channels i would love to have added. **Recommendations to others considering Restream:** When you are looking for a software or a website to make streaming to multiple services easy, look no further. The software that is used on this website with Restream is simply amazing. They make adding new channels super easy as clicking a simply button then find your account you want to add and then log in. After you have all your accounts the main page is the greatest, it shows you the live view of what is being broadcast-ed. It lets you easily toggle between which channels you have and which ones you want to be live. While on the next tab you can easily update all the tittles as well as the game instead of having to go to each platform and having to update it there. It makes going live and letting your followers know easy, they have a built in social tab, so you connect your Twitter, Facebook as well as a discord channel to have it auto message with a predefined messaged. So that way that step is already taken care of when you start your stream, lord knows there is already a ton of steps and work involved to a good stream so one less thing to worry about is always a blessing. **What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?** This platform has made it so simple to stream to my different outlets. I think the ability to add the channels then all you have to do is simply click a toggle to change what channels get the stream. Then it has the ability when streaming to Mixer to use the FTL service which is awesome and most of the time Restream is faster then most other streaming platforms alone. ### 7. One stream key for multiple platforms. The chat service also provided by Restream pulls all your chat into one clean, customizable window, yet indicates which platform the viewer is chatting from. It is also nice that so many platforms are included among the options. Twitch, YouTube, Mixer, DLive, etc. Stream to one or stream to all. The service does what it does simply and reliably. Streaming software has also begun integrating Restream. I use the StreamElements streaming software and the Restream chat client integrates seamlessly. **What do you dislike about Restream?** The only issue I have had with the service is the slightly longer chat delay, however Restream Chat seems to have fixed that. There have been instances of loss of quality on occasion. I am nitpicking here, because there really isn't anything that I dislike with the Restream service. **Recommendations to others considering Restream:** Do it! You won't be sorry. It just works. Easy to set up in your favorite streaming software. Thanks to Restream, when I decided to move to Twitch I didn't have to abandon my YouTube audience. I just added Twitch to the list and carried on. It helped bring together the audiences from the various platforms together into a community. The Twitch folks and the YouTube folks could talk to one another via the Restream Chat client with no delay. It also allowed me to test out other platforms without having to sacrifice all the time spent growing an audience. Support is quite excellent, they respond quickly & are very helpful. **What do you dislike about Restream?** They seem to take quite a while to add chat support for new services. When DLive started getting more popular, it took about an extra month or so for chat to be supported. I really dislike that you have to pay extra to stream to a public Facebook page (not personal) & it's annoying to have to pay for a single custom RTMP, but at least that one makes more sense. They seem to be trying to drop support for Windows 7, since Microsoft themselves are. **Recommendations to others considering Restream:** If you want or need to live stream to more than just one platform to reach or accommodate more people, then Restream is your best choice. The Dashboard is very simple and the onboarding process was very easy. Especially now that Restream has this new Restream GoLive feature, I am going to come back to this service once I need to multistream. This feature enables me and my clients to go live right from the webcam. It is easier than installing an encoder. Restream support team is amazing. Whenever I had a question, I just asked it in their website live chat and got a quick response from their 24/7 live chat support team. **What do you dislike about Restream?** I am not a heavy user so all the features I am using, are quite satisfactory for me. There is nothing I don’t like about what I have with this multistreaming service. When I was using an encoder, the setup process was not easy for me. This is because I am not a tech person. Streaming to 30+ platforms with a touch of a button! Simple setup for an incredibly customizable, innovative and powerful program! I don’t know why I haven’t used it earlier. What I like about Restream 1. The ability to stream to more than 30 platforms 2. The Restream Chat feature 3. The Analytics 4. Real-time channel toggling 5. Restream Monitor I used to stream to Mixer, Twitch and YouTube at the same time and Restream was the best service for doing so. Due to it, I don’t have to choose only one platform for streaming my content. Restream is easy to use and they are constantly updating the features, making improvements. As I stream to three platforms at once, I have lots of viewers and commenters from all these three platforms. To keep the communication going, I am using Restream Chat to monitor and reply to comments from Mixer, Twitch and YouTube. OBS integration and social media announcement post setup are two easy integrations I would like to point out. Restream makes using the services and features really easy, with minimal effort or issues. I used Restream for almost two years and will be using it again in the future, when I come back to creating live video content. **What do you dislike about Restream?** Initially, when I wanted to stream to Facebook, too, the Live Event setup rarely worked with any issue.
