Capture 4K video with 48kHz audio for podcasts and interviews, solo or with guests, while you stream or on its own. → Fit every feed. Stream portrait and landscape at the same time, so your video looks right on YouTube and TikTok alike. → Stay live even when you're offline. ## Restream Reviews
 ### 1. Restream: Solid, Complete, Stable Multistreaming with Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claudio F. | Head of Streaming, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Restream?**

Restream is the most complete platform out there for both multi-streaming and live shows in general.
The integration with several platforms makes it perfect for syndicating for different destinations while the modular pricing system makes it fair.
The stability and absence of issues or glitches during the shows is notable!
The only thing that has ever happened to me was the initial screen once didn't come back to its orignal state, but it was resolved wuickly by support and since I was not live it was no issue at all - probably my mistake.
Interface is pretty intuitive so no comments are necessary here.
Clippings made by AI could be more a little more comprehensive but it is ok, I guess. I'm not heavy user of clippings.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

There is nothing really to dislike.
Probably the only feature that they could improve would be the Studio.
But dislike is a too strong word. I prefer to say that they could lead the market instead of being at same level with its competitors.
There are a few features that could be implement such as green room, polls and giveaway tool.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Well, I stream every single of the year - except sometimes for new year's eve and Christmas and it has never failed. What else could I expect?
It's an integral part of my job and part of my living.
Whenever I support they are avaialble.

 ### 2. User-Friendly Interface with a Seamless, Professional Broadcast-Style Stream

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob D. | Director of Photography, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Restream?**

The interface is extremely user friendly and simple to navigate. With a 50 year background in film and television I especially like that it provides a seamless, simple to use, broadcast style stream which comes across looking extremely professional.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

It would be extremely useful to allow more than 8 uploaded videos clips for a stream without having to upgrade. It seems this should be accessible as there seems to be no limit on clips in terms of length, which is a good thing. However I would prefer to see length limits rather than limits on number of clips.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The provisdion of Local Recording gives me an enormous content library from each stream. The local recordings have been oming through in superb quality and they allow me to drop them into the oevrall replay in post if the picture quality of the stream has dropped anywhere, likewise with audio. It also allows me to cut high quality clips to compliment the full replay. The benefit is my streams and post stream clips all have superb production quality esoecially after passing through DaVinci Resolve for editing and grading.

 ### 3. Easy-to-Use Streaming Platform with Helpful Support.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David S. | Customer Solutions Representative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Restream?**

The interface is easy to use and navigate. And the tech support is always helpful even if the answer isn't what I want. That being said even when the answer is not what I hoped for, they look into to adding features and often do.
The new features, for the most part, are improvements that help make my streaming easier. Some of them take time to adjust to, but once I get the hang of them I grow to like and depend on them.
I used to use Zoom to stream/podcast and Restream is so much better.
Internet-based software can be tricky when web service is spotty, but since I use an ethernet connection and a high speed service, it really is not an issue.
Pricing can be picky for some, but when compared to other services, I thin Restream offers the most bang for the buck. And when others are increasing their prices, Restream is keeping things affordable.
I use the top end subscription, right below the highest level and it does all it says it will do and more.
While I would like the connections to Apple and Spotify to be built in like other platforms, the ability to multiteam all at one time is pretty slick.
I really don't use other integrations since the ones Restream offers hits the ones I use. When they added Rumble I was very pleased.
The newest offering is the AI clips feature and I'm loving it so far. I wanted to get into the short reels market and now I'm doing it more and more. My channels are growing from it so my reach to more followers is a direct result of that service.
Restream seems to handle heavier loads well for the most part, although I haven't stress-tested it too much. I have contact with other streamers and I hear their issues with other services and I don't have those issues with Restream.
I started using Restream when I and they were growing and even though others want me to switch, I intend to grow with them. It's a been a good partnership so far, one I don't intend to end.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

Their tech team is small for the most part and that could be an issue down the road.
There are times when they are catering to streamers that don't match my needs, but I can hardly blame them for doing that.
I retired from customer service jobs over the last part of my work experience and I know what good service looks like. There were a few times when I had to work through experiences like that, however the vast majority of times are good ones.
It took longer to add some features I requested, but they added them eventually.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There were times when the scenes didn't retain the new input and that still happens from time to time.
I figured work arounds on my own.
The new clips service needs to add more platforms for multi-streams but I expect them to do that. I would love to have the option to post clips to Apple and Spotify.

 ### 4. Restream Simplifies Multistreaming With Unified Chat and Great Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vaughn F. | Content Creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Restream?**

Restream makes streaming to multiple platforms easy with an easy to read chat app combining all the platforms. This makes my workflow simple to setup, and I've rarely had any fuss with it.

It's priced well for what you get over the course of a year as a heavy user, really helping me to grow my audience on YouTube and Twitch.

When I have had questions the support staff was very quick and helpful.

Restream has really helped me to make my game streams stand out.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

I could use a few more options in the chat display as most offer a white font. With a little tinkering in CSS you can adjust this, but could be easier.

I'd also like to see some AI edited shorts integration included with the subscription instead of it being entirely separate.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Restream makes it easy to manage a live stream across multiple platforms without having to juggle them.

 ### 5. Restream: Reliable for Live Streaming, Needs Better Update Communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Delvin I. | Outreach Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Restream?**

I think using Restream is a great option for tracking and handling podcasts or live streams and shows. It was a wonderful thing to have the option to stream BIBLE teaching, and I'm able to stick comments or chat into the posts directly during live sessions. I enjoy that I can teach using it, like when discussing scriptures or teachings. Also, I love being able to send email links to my wife and other family members so they can join the live stream seamlessly. Restream allows us to broadcast live across multiple platforms, including my all channels and her Facebook & her YouTube, and I really like that feature.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

So one of the things that I think ReStream can do better at is emailing a lot of update options. I really wish they would send out an email to let you know something is new. Besides the fact I see it new when I get up on Sunday morning. That means they probably do these update changes on the weekend. Then I get up on Sunday morning, start getting everything together. Something is not where it used to be at. It's not really hard to find it. But I mean, you get used to a flow. Without, announcement something that's changed. Even though it might be a good or they might think it's great. Because its their idea, but it's not all the way fluent or flowing sometime.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Restream to stream my Ministry and live shows, making it easy to share teachings and scriptures while allowing interactive participation through comments and chat.

 ### 6. Restream Revolutionized Our Multi-Platform Broadcasting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jerry W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Restream?**

I use Restream to broadcast to all my social media pages, and it's very easy to use. Restream is perfect for this. It has solved bandwidth issues for me while traveling in a motorhome, as it allows me to stream to multiple platforms without losing signal quality. The recordings feature is a terrific fallback if any issues occur on my end. I also love the feature for making short clips; it's very exciting and makes a huge difference. Setting up Restream was very easy, and even when I had a question, customer support was amazing, answering quickly and clearly. Restream is one of the highest quality, solid, and fully functional systems I've ever used, and I rate it a very solid 10.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

Ha! Really? There is NOTHING to dislike!

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Restream to stream to all my social media pages easily, solving bandwidth issues while traveling in my motorhome. It lets me stream to multiple platforms and provides great fallback recordings if I have issues on my end.

 ### 7. Intuitive Livestream Platform with Outstanding Customer Service Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krasi B. | Founder & Strategy Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Restream?**

The product is incredibly intuitive and easy to use - setting scenes or customizing the design, integrating with multiple live stream platforms without hassle, and generating instant AI-powered short videos to capture the best moments. The customer service is outstanding. Responsive, helpful, and committed to providing support until the issue is fully resolved.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

I would recommend providing timely communications to users if there are major changes to the interface.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Restream helps me go live on multiple social media platforms seamlessly, expanding my reach and audience. I can also create engaging short videos instantly, without needing to buy expensive editing software. ### 8. Effortless LinkedIn Streaming with Restream

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James P. | Leadership Development ❤️ B2B Selling Skills Training 📌 Sales Management Skills Training, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Restream?**

I use Restream specifically for LinkedIn Live presentations, and it helps me connect to LinkedIn without needing complicated tools like OBS. I find it very simple and efficient. It also allows me to view the chats while I'm doing a live stream, which is helpful. On one screen, I can see my chat and present at the same time, enabling me to monitor both and see how things are moving along. The initial setup was very easy because linking LinkedIn to Restream is a straightforward process, nothing complicated.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

The cost. To make the annual subscription worth it, doing presentations more than once a month would be better.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Restream to connect to LinkedIn simply and efficiently, avoiding complicated tools like OBS. It allows me to view chats and present on one screen, making live stream management easier.

 ### 9. Excellent platform, fast support, excellent resources, connect with friends

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Restream?**

Excellent platform, quick and efficient support, very objective,

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

Currently, I am very satisfied with the features. I made a suggestion about the addition of a "timer" and it was implemented. I am very grateful and satisfied. I am an active 73-year-old senior and a weekly user of this platform, as it offers me contact with friends and allows me to share my professional life experiences.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

as I mentioned earlier, my suggestion was a timer for time control, which was very well included, increasing the control of the participants in the live sessions

 ### 10. Easy Interface, Flexible Customization, and Straightforward Pricing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris W. | Field CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Restream?**

Easy to understand interface. Good customization options to tailor the screen to look the way you want it to. Easy to understand pricing model that doesn't bait & switch you after you've onboarded. Easy to integrate with your existing streaming channels.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

Text for the names/labels can be hard to read. It needs font size customization. The "AI clip generator" isn't that good.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can quickly set up a new streaming event on multiple channels without needed to go to each one individually. Saves me a ton of time and it's a great value for what you get.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Restream?**

Pretty much everything from the live stream itself to connecting to all the social media channels we're streaming to. To deal with all the chat messages we get on the multiple channels, because Restream aggregates everything into the same chats and we can see all the messages and reply to them live. To also just make the whole stream very professional looking, because we can set up custom scenes, use our own branding, use countdowns, and so on. And it's really awesome that after the stream we just get automatic clips that we can share on social media and point people towards the stream, but also get additional content just generated on autopilot.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

Just the price but I'm ok with it, it's worth it

I find Restream highly valuable for my podcast and video content management. The platform's user-friendly interface is incredibly appreciated, which makes recording interviews with guests ahead of time a breeze. It seamlessly integrates with platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook, allowing me to easily livestream the prerecorded content. I appreciate how straightforward it is to extract audio and video files for repurposing content, enhancing the usability for creating diverse multimedia outputs. The $19 per month plan struck me as cost-effective, meeting all my basic functional needs without breaking the bank. Setting up Restream was a delight, as it was extraordinarily simple to connect to my social channels without any hassle. Restream efficiently addresses the need to record audio and video interviews and allows for livestreaming them later, adding convenience to my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

I'm frustrated with Restream because they don't allow me to store my recordings for more than fifteen days. This limitation forces me to export and then reupload the files to schedule a live event at a later date, which is time-consuming and annoying. Additionally, the video files are too large to reupload within the platform's limits, requiring me to find another program to condense the files. This process is not only cumbersome but also frustrating enough that I decided to cancel my Restream account. I asked them multiple times if they could do anything to help me but their only recommendations was that I upgrade from my $19/month plan to their $199/month plan so that I could store videos for 30 days instead of only 15. This is not feasible for a small business owner like me who doesn't need all the other functionality that comes with that large of a plan.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Restream to efficiently record and livestream audio and video interviews, then repurpose the content. Its user-friendly setup simplifies the process of live streaming and extracting files for further use on platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook.

+ Saves Streams: Streams are automatically saved, making them easy to download!

+ Customer Support: Had a question about their features and their support responded extremely fast in live chat and was extremely detailed. Great support!

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

Restream gave me an easy way to stream on YouTube and Twitch, and save my streams

 ### 32. Restream has been an exception tool for my streaming ,recording ,connecting to multiple sites , apps

**Reviewed by:** Dr Aman K. | General Manager Digital HealthCare, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Restream?**

Restream is very user-friendly and easy to use. It has connected to all my streaming sites including, LinkedIn , and Twitter in addition to youtube, and Facebook. It can connect to multiple accounts and pages simultaneously even on the same platform ( Viz YT/ FB ).

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

I sometimes find these plans not accepting Indian Card Payment system rules set up by the RBI ( though a workaround has been given it is a cumbersome process)

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multi-platform streaming, studio software, recording without going live, ability to add lower thirds, tickers etc. lots of customisations. Ease of use has made my life a lot lot easier

 ### 33. Unreliable and inaccurate features

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael M. | Digital Media Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Restream?**

Restream offers a simple ingest solution and a fast creation of channels. If you have a YouTube channel or a Twitch channel, then restream might be a good choice for you.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

The restream dashboard offers "stream health" analytics which are inaccurate and sometimes downright wrong. For example, the dashboard can tell you that you are "streaming" when in fact you are not. So, if you use restream to stream to multiple platforms, you better open your stream on every one of those platforms to make sure you are streaming because restream will always say "streaming" but when you look at your Facebook, YouTube and custom RTMP stream, it will be dead.

To me, that is unacceptable, but it is not the worst part. When you reach out to their support, they will (every single time) tell you that it must be something you did wrong. As someone who does over three streams daily for multiple companies, this is just not the case. I use vMix Pro and do not mix up settings. I have a team of technicians at my side, and we broadcast from big studios. We are not just some person using a webcam in their bedroom or some amateur who might mix up a frame rate or video codec here and there.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Restream is supposed to solve the problem of "RESTREAMING" my one single RTMP source to multiple RTMP sources across the web. In my specific case, I was on their top-tier plan and streaming to YouTube, Facebook and a custom Website with an RTMP ingest.

 ### 34. Awful customer support. Laggy platform to stream on Linkedin.

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Restream?**

Back-end with good UX design so you can easily create an event.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

Customer support is the worst I ever talked to. They made our Linkedin Webinar a total disaster.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Didn't solve any problem. It created me a lot.

 ### 35. Couldn't get Restream to work...

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wes H. | CEO, Lead Pastor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Restream?**

I like the User Interface. It was simple enough to navigate. Restream has a simple way to connect each platform from which to stream. I liked how I can record live or upload a video for later publishing.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

With all of its benefits and abilities, I could not get Restream to connect to my computer/system in order to actually stream anything. When I chatted and ultimately called Restream, they were unable to fix my connection. Further, I had paid for the annual subscription, and even though we were working on my issue with connectivity for weeks, they would not refund my subscription without a lot of hassle.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Restream is one of the few platforms I tried to use for my Church's Online Streaming needs. I ultimately went with Restream for its ease of use and cost. I'm sure that if I could have gotten it to work properly, our streaming ability for the Church would have been amazing.

 ### 36. Enjoying the opportunity to tell my Life and Business stories

**What do you like best about Restream?**

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

Not being able to pause the discussion and restart

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to reach possible business contacts

 ### 37. A solid and stable option to do multiple streams directly from your browser

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David D. | Artistic Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Restream?**

The well-established and solid functionality of the tool, started out when multistreaming was devoted to the gaming industry and one could figure out what the need was to be able to stream to multiple Facebook pages and then youtube! They have continuously improved the platform and made it more easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

I personally don't agree with their pricing policy, its become prohibitive to scale up in their improvements and new features, while they have kept the casual and trendy appearance it feels as if they have moved towards a more corporate/solid business strategy without keeping in mind the smaller creator

**Recommendations to others considering Restream:**

if budget is not an issue for you and yo like the ease of use, go straight to Restream! It is a well established and incredibly stable platform.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the time I was using it presented the unique solution for small-time content producers and influencers to stream one piece of content into multiple platforms at a time without having to worry about "hurting" each platform's natural algorithm.

 ### 38. Perfect platform for online events

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Restream?**

Restream is great for streaming to multiple channels at the same time. The live studio is great as well, and the scheduling of videos is awesome, the event can go live without the audience knowing it's pre-recorded.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

Some channel integrations are a bit complicated, for example YouTube and Twitter - you have to create an "Event" on twitter for the stream to happen, it fails a lot of the time. The schedule event/video has been updated to better the LinkedIn integration but for our purposes and needs it actually made it worse. If you want to schedule a video you have to create an event and add the video at the same time without the possibility of changing the video later.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Restream allows us to stream our event to multiple social platforms with only a few clicks. We also benefit greatly from using the Studio when we host live panel discussions or fireside chats.

 ### 39. It Just Keeps Getting Better

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brad H. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Restream?**

I originally purchased a lifetime subscription to Restream to stream to multiple platforms simultaneously and to live stream pre-recorded videos. Both features are rock solid. In addition, Restream continued its Live Studio development, which has been a huge bonus! They continue adding features that make live streaming easy and professional to this day.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

I consistently have issues with my live video streams freezing for a few seconds at a time. I can't say for sure whether the bottleneck is on my end or theirs. I have plenty of bandwidth, and I rarely have this issue when using other live video services such as Skype or Facetime video Messenger.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to repurpose video content by live streaming previously recorded videos greatly benefits our organization. We have a global audience, and having the ability to schedule a stream for different time zones is enormous. Restream also makes it very easy to bring in multiple guests via browser, which minimizes technical complications.

 ### 40. Restream is a hassle free way to Livestream on multiple platforms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neel K. | Deputy Food Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Restream?**

The interface of Restream is user friendly and all the options to go live is right there on the dash board. It is easy to add destinations and from within the Restream dashboard all the Titles can be updated.Restream allows easy livestreaming to multiple platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook Group, FB Page or Individual account, Twitter, and RTMP destinations. It also aalows Chat overlay to highlight chat during streaming. I can also use my custom logo and banner.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

The pricing can be a little low for starters. A companion mobile app would be an added bonus. The website even though works on mobile does to seem to be too mobile friendly.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Restream allows me to go live on YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and other platforms at once. The chat features allow to reply to chats from within Livestream studio. The integration with OBS is also a plus for me.

 ### 41. Great Solution for multi platform livestreaming

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirk E. | Creative lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Restream?**

Restream makes it very easy to stream one broadcast to multiple live streaming platforms. I originally started using restream as they were one of only a few options for the beta of LinkedIn live. I found it easy to connect my LinkedIn profile as well as other platforms such as Twitch, YouTube, and Twitter. Connecting accounts is easy and quick. Support has been very helpful the times I've needed to contact them.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

The integration with LinkedIn often disconnects, and I get no indication of this until after we have gone live. I wish there was some kind of verify accounts function I could run before we start streaming. Some platforms don't allow you to connect the broadcast midstream. I wish they would better support Instagram and TikTok. The only ways I've found to stream to these platforms are hacky and unreliable for regular broadcasting.

**Recommendations to others considering Restream:**

Restream has great sales a few times a year. You can save a bit and get more features.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can connect to new live-streaming platforms like LinkedIn and can also broadcast to multiple platforms at once. Restream has some nice features that unify chat and title changes across all your broadcast locations.

 ### 42. Outstanding broadcasting tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen M. | Director of Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Restream?**

Restream was the perfect (and free!) solution to my recent need for a broadcasting tool for an upcoming live webinar. Love the seamless integration with LinkedIn and other platforms.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

I've run into a little technical snafu that prevents me from adding the Restream tool onto a LinkedIn event I already scheduled on the LI platform. Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but I've spent a lot of time researching it and haven't yet found a solution.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love how easy it is to broadcast on the fly with this tool. No expensive accounts required, setup is quick and painless, and sharing is super easy. Love how much time this tool has saved me!

 ### 43. A decent software to livestream on multiple platforms!

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Restream?**

Restream is a good enough tool to live stream events on multiple platforms at once. It's easy to use, has a great user interface because of which it is very easy to get around this software. The support team is also quick to respond and that is a very helpful service from their end. My favorite feature, however, of this tool, that sets it apart from its competitors is the streaming monitor. It's great how you can monitor if the live stream is good even without entering the studio. This feature really makes things easy for the whole team.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

While it's a good software, this isn't perfect. For its features, I find it a bit expensive and that too with limited options. The second best variant only offers 10 custom destinations at a time which honestly isn't a lot, even for a small-medium scale organization. Even the top-most variant offers only 20 custom destinations, which makes it quite a task to organize simultaneous events. Hence, in terms of its pricing and the features that it offers, I would definitely go ahead with similar tools instead of this one.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We switched from streamyard to restream for conducting our annual event this year. While I personally enjoyed scheduling events in the beginning (the interface made it easier for me to figure my way around this software and quickly get the work done) but when we came to connecting it to our event platform stage, it was a hassle. We could only add 10 custom destinations at a time which made my work repetitive on a daily basis as we had many webinars on a single day. While that wasn't a lot of trouble but I had a better experience with streamyard in this aspect - I was able to create the desired number of custom destinations without any maximum cap limit.

 ### 44. Restream, its great for what it us, but not for what its not.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary A. | Director of Digital Media and Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Restream?**

Great service with a ton of flexibility when producing video

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

Its made for streamers not really business who want to stream content or events

**Recommendations to others considering Restream:**

Its a great service for what its made to do, was very reliable and had some cool features for streamers.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted something that could stream a prepackaged video, restream could do that (ie schedule it in advance). Its made more for someone who is live streaming content or conversations, which is great, just not what we where using it for.

 ### 45. Amazing tool for streaming content to multiple platforms simultaneously

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carolyn G. | COO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Restream?**

It's super user-friendly, making it VERY easy to link multiple social media platforms. You can also feed live meetings/webinars from zoom and push that feed to your linked platforms in real-time. Restream studio also has a LOT of added features, graphic/text overlay options, etc. for anyone that doesn't want to use Zoom.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to link Instagram for restreaming, currently.

**Recommendations to others considering Restream:**

Get your feet wet with the free version, learn how easy it is to use... then I'm sure you'll decide it's worth upgrading to a paid plan, if you want to be able to stream to many platforms at one time.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can now livestream content to our social media accounts, allowing more people to see, share, and engage with our content.

 ### 46. Great for beginners in live-streaming

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan T. | $mart $tart Wage Negotiation Workshop Facilitator & Ambassador, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Restream?**

I used this as a Technology Coordinator for a church congregation's Sunday service live-streaming. I liked that Restream allows you to stream simultaneously to multiple social media platforms from one user interface

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

It was a bit difficult in the beginning learning the user interface, and it seemed like every time we logged in, there was some delay or issue with the password.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem Restream helped to solve was live streaming a weekly production online to Facebook and YouTube simultaneously. This allows church members who are unable to attend due to the pandemic, access to still experience church community, and stay up to date on the liturgy.

 ### 47. Makes it an easy broadcast but hate Branding

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jean Bertin C. | Analyst MLU - Area Growth & Performance Indicators Team Leader , MSR, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Restream?**

I can't say enough good things about restream.io! After using xSplit for a long while, I was having some problems with bandwidth so I was looking around for something that would allow me to multi-stream my streams more effectively. Since I was already using OBS, I knew it would be an easy transition to use Restream. It's so easy to set up and only takes a few minutes to get going. I was able to immediately get 0-lag and was also able to try out a lot of different bandwidth settings to make sure I was getting the most effective one for my situation. Since the views of our broadcasts have increased and donations have increased significantly and I don't have to worry about whether or not I should be streaming on one platform or another. I highly recommend checking out restream.io, you're going to love it!

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

Restream provides a very useful service for people who want to stream but they need to make some improvements on their branding. The branding on the site is too much and it makes it seem too corporate and not personal. Also, the website isn't very interactive and the colors are not as vibrant as they could be. However, It is a very useful tool and it is very easy to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Restream:**

I highly recommend Restream to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable way to expand their streaming platforms. The software is easy to set-up using OBS and Streamlabs for both desktop and mobile device, the prices are extremely reasonable, and my streaming quality has been much improved. I had previously been using Restream for my mobile broadcasting, but now I use it for my desktop as well. This has freed up my internet bandwidth so that my mobile is no longer fighting for bandwidth. I also had a problem with high ping but Restream customer support was perfect in handling my issue. This is a great product and is well worth the price. Give it a try! I'm glad I did.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you stream live events, you'll know what a hassle maintaining an audience is. Not only do you have a high channel capacity in place, what with multiple computers pumping content across the web, but you also have to handle the viewers coming in through your stream. This is a very difficult task, especially if you want to have an interactive audience. This is the first of the main benefits the Restream add-on for OBS grants the user. Not only does it help broadcast your live stream to a much larger audience, but it also manages the stream for you. This means you'll never have to worry about stopping, starting or stopping your stream for your viewers again. Not to mention that it's also incredibly easy to set up. You can sit back and relax while your audience rises.

 ### 48. Great Low Budget Streaming Platform - Pain to Setup Streams

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eirik S. | Product Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Restream?**

- You can quickly enter the streaming room after a Stream is created.
- Restream made connecting to LinkedIn and YouTube reasonably easy.
- Restream seems to have an excellent Discord integration, but it's not something we used.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

- While we were using the product, it was a pain to set up the stream. You would have to go to YouTube and schedule a live streaming event. Then come back to Restream to connect the scheduled event to a Restream based streaming event. The process was relatively unintuitive.
- To my knowledge, after using the service for four months. There is no way to invite multiple people onto your stream. It's just you.
- Very limited customizability on the display of YouTube comments during a stream. This feature is something Streamyard does VERY well (we switched to them because of this).

**Recommendations to others considering Restream:**

I would make sure that you list out the features you are looking to get out of a streaming service. Restream wasn't the best fit for us due to the limited customizability of the display of comments during streaming and not quickly adding other co-hosts to the stream.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking to stream live Q&A sessions to our YouTube and LinkedIn communities

**Official Response from Victor Bous:**

 ### 49. Restream is a brilliant way to Livestream on multiple platforms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachael W. | Founder/ CEO/ Owner/ Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Restream?**

Restream is easy to navigate and connect to my social media platforms. Multiple platforms can be linked, including Facebook pages, Facebook groups, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube. Their studio allows me to add graphic/text overlays.

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

Unfortunately, there is no option to Livestream on Instagram at the moment.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Livestream to multiple social media platforms and YouTube simultaneously saves a lot of hassle and time.

 ### 50. Need to 'live' stream on multiple platforms? Restream is what you need

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alistair W. | Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Restream?**

Restream gives us the ability to multi-stream 'live' to both YouTube and Facebook simultaneously without needing to use any OBS software installed on a local computer

**What do you dislike about Restream?**

The one thing I dislike about Restream's Scheduler is that it needs any pre-recorded videos over 2GB to be uploaded and scheduled at least 2 hours before streaming is scheduled to start.

**What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Due to the global Coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic, the church needed to be able to 'live' stream services. However, the internet connection in the church is terrible and was not up to the job, and Restream gives us the ability to record our services and then stream them as if they were live. The streaming service they provide has meant that we have been able to continue to have our services throughout the pandemic and even increased the number of people who have been able to participate in them.
