I like how easy it is to collaborate with teams in real time using boards, sticky notes, diagrams, and templates. The infinite canvas is very useful for brainstorming, planning workflows, and organizing ideas visually. Many users also praise its intuitive interface and collaboration features.

The performance is amazing. It automatically saves my work (including what I did yesterday or in previous sessions), so I can resume my training right where I left off.

The big screen (infinite) for me has been what I have enjoyed the most. I can put anything on it; wireframes, flowcharts, sticky notes, mood boards etc. There is some noise today, however, I am able to create a full flow chart of my new product in one sitting -- that is something. I find the template library to be really good as well. As far as collaboration goes, it allows us to collaborate on the same board at the same time, which is great because we can all see who is working on the board and avoid working in someone else’s space. As soon as you have too much stuff on the board it slows down. And when you have multiple screens open within Miro it takes forever. If you try to prototype using Miro’s built-in features it won’t allow you to create a true prototype. One minor gripe but serious none-the-less is when you have more than 4 users on at the same time the labels showing who made changes to the board become very cluttered and difficult to read/see. I love Miro for its easy-to-use and beautiful interface that truly lives up to its artful name, making it enjoyable to engage clients on the deepest level possible, beyond what is achievable in person. The platform enables seamless collaboration with people across multiple countries and time zones, allowing us to work together simultaneously as well as asynchronously when necessary. The initial setup of Miro is perfectly easy, akin to breathing. This ease of use and beautiful design is important to me and enhances the experience for my customers as well. I find the AI in Miro limited and a little clunky. It doesn't feel like a natural part of the platform yet improving rapidly. The features, such as clustering ideas, do not provide options for a smaller number of clusters, often presenting too many. I really like the stickies in Miro because they are simple yet great. Stickies are easy to use, and you can write down a lot of things pretty fast. I enjoy collaborating with my colleagues in Miro. It's also handy that our customers use Miro with us and share boards. The fact that the stickies have different colors and labels helps a lot. A customer shared a board with me, but the board is nowhere to be found in my personal collection and I can also not search for it, which is very annoying. It would be nice to simply have a page for shared boards or being able to find them via the search even when they are from an external party like in my case. I like that Miro provides a space where we can collaborate seamlessly and share all kinds of media all in one space. It's much better than a written shared document, where the information is only linear. The ability to share images, videos, clips, documents, text excerpts, and websites all in one place allows us to get more work done in less time, which is essential for our fully remote team. I appreciate how Miro's 3-dimensional and visual setup is perfect for video storyboarding, unlike Google Docs, which didn't suit our needs as it's just linear. Sometimes the application gets laggy when the board gets too big. Usually it is at around 5000 items when the boards stop being useful, and we have to move our ideas to a new board. As a graduating UX designer, Miro’s collaboration features make it almost unthinkable for me to work without it. It’s become an essential part of how I collaborate with peers.

I regularly do workshops at the company I'm doing an internship at. Having people join in and placing sticky notes with their thoughts really helps me create a low barrier for people to work with me.

The AI template builder didn't really work for me, the output wasnt usable.

I’ve been using Miro with my teams for years, and I genuinely love it. It’s one of those tools that makes work feel easier and a bit more fun. There’s a lot you can do with it, and it stays flexible depending on what your team needs.

Where it really stands out for me is team building and retros. Miro retros are my favorite, they feel more engaging and more visual, and people actually participate instead of just going through the motions. You can start with templates and use them as inspiration, or build your own from scratch.

Easy to use, consistently updated with new features, and backed by a great UX. With the new MCP integration, it’s straightforward to build agents and improve my work performance even further.

With the AI features, its easy to make the work done and get proper insights, specially with the Miro Flows and Sidekicks.

We have proper documentation not only for the product but also for the AI and MCP features as well which makes the product useful and very reliable for quick onboarding.

Abou the performance it's very stable with a few outages, which is very good for a SaaS product.

The pricing model could be better, especially around the AI features. I subscribed to the first tier because I wanted to use more Flows, but then I realized that “unlimited” Flows are only available on the Business tier, which is far above my budget for a single user.

What I like least about Miro is where it can slow things down instead of speeding them up:

Harder to track execution – great for ideation, but not ideal for managing tasks or accountability end-to-end

The free tier is quite limited, restricting users to only 3 editable boards, which pushes teams to paid plans quickly.
