**What do you like best about 4D?**

4D is a highly customizable SQL-based solution that can house datasets in a variety of ways. There's the potential of expansion as long as you stay inside their  platform.

**What do you dislike about 4D?**

Siloed data. Whatever information you choose to store in the 4D Server will stay in the 4D Server. Be very careful with the contract you sign when dealing with the third-party administrator - you may learn that your data is no longer yours.

**Recommendations to others considering 4D:**

Look into who your third-party support provider is and see if you can find independent recommendations for them. Our experience has been where our support provider will make major changes to the platform with little or no notice; when their update "breaks" the platform's functionality, you have to pay for them to troubleshoot and repair or roll back. 
Do not recommend unless you have an in-house team that's savvy in maintaining and managing SQL-based relational databases.

**What problems is 4D solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The company initially reached out to develop a student records database, a customer database, and a class management tool. 4D was able to provide this functionality and was instrumental in moving the company away from inefficient recordkeeping.

**What do you like best about 4D?**

this software is able to treat and save a huge amount of sales informations

**What do you dislike about 4D?**

its still a bit "old"  and could be implement to be easier to use

futur user need to understand whats important for them, between the ease of use or the capacity of the software

get a strong sales database to share informations being sales and custumer departmant
