&lt;p&gt;For a small contractor, I’d judge consolidation by duplicate entry eliminated. Follow one job from the first customer inquiry through estimate, scheduling, field updates, invoice, and payment, then count how often someone retypes information or moves it manually. Fewer apps only helps if the underlying handoffs disappear with them.&lt;/p&gt;
