What do you like best about VEDAMO Virtual Classroom?

The platform is easy to use, stable, and includes all major functions. The virtual classroom allows users to upload content and to interact on virtual a whiteboard with writing/editing tools that are accessible to all users. The pricing system is excellent -- it lets us choose our solution based on how many classrooms and users we need. The Vedamo staff is quick to respond and always tries their best to solve all issues. What do you dislike about VEDAMO Virtual Classroom?

It would be great if the virtual classroom can be improved upon for mobile use on tablets and smartphones. As of now, it is not very practical to use on these devices, especially for younger students. There is no option to see all users and the whiteboard at the same time when the platform goes into mobile mode and this is very limiting for our students. More and more students are using mobile devices for their lessons so it would be very important to improve on this aspect.

Also, there is no telephone number to call to speak to the Vedamo staff when there is an emergency. There is only the chat box. On a few occasions we have found ourselves needing immediate assistance but having to wait for someone to answer our messages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best online platform for teaching children online"

What do you like best about VEDAMO Virtual Classroom?

The white board and the tools that students and teachers can use in the lessons are great.

The program allows teachers to save their lesson plans, then share them with other teachers! A huge benefit and help to the staff.

I am the principal of our school, so being able to see all the classes running and manage the teachers (as well as being able to join any lesson at any time or see recordings of lessons) is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent experience of using Vedamo over the last 12 months, for us, our mentors and our pupils."

What do you like best about VEDAMO Virtual Classroom?

There are lots of features that support interactive learning and make it easy for our mentors to deliver engaging maths sessions - whiteboard, annotation and chat all interact with our PPT content better than Zoom was previously. Also, the recording of breakout rooms and chats make it more secure from a safeguarding perspective. Finally, Vedamo have shown excellent customer service, providing support and making changes to the platform to help us and our partners. After using it for a year, we are now making it mandatory for all our partners to use it for their sessions because the quality of the sessions is so much higher than Zoom/Teams. What do you dislike about VEDAMO Virtual Classroom?

It has the look and feel of a new platform - not as smooth as Zoom and Teams from a user's perspective. However, this is far outweighed by the benefits of the functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is VEDAMO Virtual Classroom solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is making the sessions more accessible, interactive and engaging for our pupils, through the extensive functions available that work well with our platforms. With Teams and Zoom, we had to use an external whiteboard tool and screenshare (because the native tools weren't good enough) and we could not use breakout rooms at all (for safeguarding reasons as they weren't recorded). This made our previous sessions more cumbersome, less engaging and gave pupils fewer opportunities to interact with their peers - Vedamo has resolved those! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about VEDAMO Virtual Classroom?

It's just so easy not only for the teacher but also for the students. We use all the facilities daily and have classes from morning to evening and have never experienced a problem. At the begining had great support from their customer service advisor who helped a lot, Very easy to implement and the inegration of platform, teacher and students works very well. What do you like best about VEDAMO Virtual Classroom?

We have used Vedamo in our organisation for 4 years now and we are have been very happy with the product and the support we have received from the team throughout. Vedamo is intuitive to use - the pupils we work with understand how to use Vedamo right away and our tutors enjoy to use it as well. The Vedamo team is another big plus. Their support is exceptional. If you run into a rare bug, they respond within seconds to get you back on track. Even better, they actively seek feedback and use it to constantly improve the product. In the past four years, Vedamo has grown considerably thanks to this commitment to user experience.

What do you like best about VEDAMO Virtual Classroom?

As an online tutoring service, we find the virtual classroom caters to most of our needs. Some of the best points are:

- the ability to hold a class with quite a high volume of students

- lots of flexibility with how much access students have during class, e.g., younger students have restricted access to avoid distractions

- the permanent link feature is excellent for repeated classes with the teacher

- the permanent link also makes substituting classes very easy

What do you dislike about VEDAMO Virtual Classroom?

There are a few things that could make online classes more attractive and attention-grabbing for students:

- a reward system

- additional tools to facilitate gameplay with students such as "roll the dice"

- locking the whiteboard to avoid students accidentally scrolling and losing view of the lesson presentation. (Although there is a solution for this, the "center canvas" button)
