What I like best about Pencil Spaces is how it makes student thinking visible. Instead of just seeing a final answer, I can see how students are reasoning, where they’re getting stuck, and how their ideas are developing. That changes how I support them as a tutor and leads to much more meaningful learning.

I love how interactive it is for our tutors and students! I taught remotely during the pandemic and it was really challenging to keep my 5 year old students engaged through Zoom. Pencil Spaces would have been a game changer for participation and engagement. I also love that we have been able to customize it to display our curriculum so we can stay consistent as an organization for in person and remote tutors.

There are additional teaching and learning tools like wolfram alpha, PhET simulations, LMS (Google classroom canvas) that you can bring straight into Pencil. Low latency for writing and calls, good learner engagement analytics out of the box!
