I have clients with an assortment of devices, including servers, workstations, PCs, and mobile devices, and each client has different backup needs. Some only want their server backed up, while others want a selection of devices protected. I can set up one scheduled backup per device or configure multiple scheduled backups. I can also choose to back up all folders or only specific folders. In addition to standard data backups, I have options for other services such as SQL, Oracle, and network drives. Every day, I receive an email report showing which devices backed up successfully and which did not. I also get a report listing any files that didn’t back up. From there, I can investigate what failed and, if needed, run a backup on the fly. Restores are quick and easy. I perform test restores for all clients on a monthly basis, which increases my billing hours while also ensuring my clients’ data is restorable and intact.
