I use Manifestly Checklists for a wide range of recurring tasks, which helps prevent missing steps by automatically generating lists at the right time. It provides due dates for entire projects, with notifications that serve as reminders for staff to complete tasks. Their customer service is also reliable, responding quickly with helpful answers. The initial setup was easy, and once people know how it works, they like it. I find Manifestly less tedious for checklists than Basecamp, so I try to move as much as possible from Basecamp to Manifestly.

Assignments ensure the correct person receives email notifications and knows it's their responsibility to complete the task. Comments provide space for additional information. The templates make it easy to set up new projects with not much setup required. I found the setup pretty simple, and even though I wasn't the original person who made the checklists, it looks easy to insert variables.

I especially appreciate how easy it is to update workflows, assign users, and control access by workflow and department. The API integrations are straightforward and intuitive, customizable notifications are simple to configure, and access levels are easy to manage. Most importantly, it helps us close the loop on long approval processes by keeping everyone aligned with live updates, timestamps, and comments that ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
