DAM allows an organization to tag and organize images, videos, and other digital assets for quick retrieval. The solution goes beyond just folders, and allows users to export assets in commonly used formats and sizes to help cut down on editing and formatting work.

Digital Asset Management is better than an S3 bucket or an FTP folder.

Whether you're using a dedicated tool like Amplience or Scene7, or digital asset management tools built into products like commercetools Frontend, it's important for any one who's managing content across multiple channels to have a tool that increases efficiency and reduces friction when building out customer experiences.
