The ability to self-host (which we do for security reasons) is a big plus for us.
We can also completely customize the system to fit our needs. The UI recently received an update, and it looks great.
We’re able to integrate with our PSA, HaloPSA, which is important for our workflow.
Performance has been excellent, everything works as expected.
Pricing is another strong point, since it doesn’t impose any minimum user requirements and doesn’t lock you into a contract.
In terms of support, we haven’t run into any issues or had any needs so far. We also self-onboarded, since we’re self-hosting our instance.
There’s an AI element called Hudini, but we haven’t used it yet.
What I like is that everything is really designed to facilitate the organization of documentation. I particularly like the ability to create custom object types, which allows you to choose the fields and attributes you can give them. It's much better than having "default" objects because Hudu really adapts to our use case. Another feature that works very well is the system of links between objects. This allows you to link objects to each other, like a server linked to the application it hosts, the password used, and the installed certificate, which makes it easier to navigate between information and find it easily. The initial deployment of Hudu was extremely easy, no friction, the instance was provisioned very quickly, and the configuration was intuitive. In a few days, I was able to customize and create the objects.
Hudu is the modern documentation tool for managing IT, enabling companies to streamline IT operations, improve the efficiency of staff, and drive growth for the company.
