What I like best about Budgyt is the platform's flexibility and accessibility. As Controller, I rely heavily on the Budget vs. Actual, Prior Year, By Plant, and By Year/Period reports to analyze financial performance and explain variances. The ability to view results at a high level or drill down into detailed account categories and individual GL accounts makes it valuable to both executive management and the finance team. The cloud-based platform lets our President and other executives access current financial information from anywhere without a VPN or being in the office, which is especially helpful during month-end close. I also appreciate how easy it is to update data by uploading a trial balance or ledger detail file so current information is available quickly. The ability to filter reports by specific plants and periods and to export results to Excel for further analysis adds even more flexibility to the reporting process.

It integrates very well with Quickbooks Online. It lets department managers view and manage their budgets, forecasts, and actual revenue and expenses, while still limiting access so they only see the data they need. The support is very good, and the price is reasonable.

It's very intuitive and simple to use while producing robust reports.
