It's easy to apply for the jobs I find. I can add filters to adjust where I want to apply, how much to make annually, and if I want to be on-site or remote. I find the performance to be fairly smooth. It's not perfect, but it does match my resume to a fair degree. Thankfully, it's free to use, so I don't feel it's necessary to pay for a subscription. I haven't needed to use any support, as I have not needed to. The speed of ZipRecruiter is fantastic; I can apply to 20 jobs in the time it takes me to apply to 3 on other platforms. I appreciate not having to continuously reenter my work history or reupload my resume, unlike on other platforms. It allows to add pre-screening questions for vetting out candidate profiles in initial stage by the AI which is helpful as this is great in reducing the turnaround time for hiring process. **What do you dislike about ZipRecruiter?** The AI capability needs fine-tuning as it seems to produce same results for candidate profiles & repetition of profiles &/or jobs. The Recommended Jobs notification that it sends out also seems to be repetitive without much relevant options to consider & most of it seems like spam. That was the only reason I paid for it. Instead, in the first week, I received only four candidates—none of whom met even the basic requirement of having prior experience, which was clearly stated in the job ad. When I called to address the issue, their team backpedaled and told me I was supposed to call the applicants to check their qualifications—despite their earlier assurance that pre-screening was included. I did call every candidate, and all of them admitted they had no experience at all. I tried to cancel the ad immediately, but customer service was incredibly rude and dismissive. They simply said, “It is what it is,” and refused to issue a refund. Absolutely terrible experience.
