I have been using ZipRecruiter for years and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a job. I used it 12 years ago when I got laid off and found an excellent job. I was just laid off again due to downsizing and have been using ZipRecruiter again to find a new job. I love the fact that you can set up your account and then search for jobs by job title or location. Then ZipRecruiter sends e-mails to you every day with jobs fitting your search parameters. You can then save jobs that you are interested in or ones for which you have applied so you can easily keep track of them. They also let you know if you are a great match for a job and, if so, highlight your resume to that employer to make your resume stand out and be more likely to be viewed. Publishing a role in ZipRecruiter is fairly straightforward. We can start from a Job Description Template, adjust responsibilities, compensation, benefits, and requirements, then distribute the opening across more than a hundred job sites from the same workflow. From an HR perspective, that removes a surprisingly unproductive part of recruiting: logging into several platforms, pasting the same description, fixing the formatting again, and later trying to remember where each role was posted. The templates help us move faster, but we never publish them untouched. They are a starting point, not a substitute for understanding the position. Smart Matching Technology works best when the role has a recognizable title and a skill set the market describes consistently. Once the job is live, ZipRecruiter surfaces profiles that appear relevant and can invite those candidates to apply, so we are not relying only on people finding the posting among hundreds of similar results. For administrative coordinators, customer service, inside sales, field technicians, and operational supervisors, we usually begin seeing plausible candidates fairly quickly. The matching still needs context: during a search for an HR generalist, several candidates looked strong because their resumes mentioned employee relations, benefits, and compliance alongside a recruiting background. Technically they seemed reasonable matches. During the calls, it became clear that some had only supported those areas indirectly and had never owned them. We adjusted the screening questions and started looking more closely at the depth of each responsibility instead of treating every matching keyword as equivalent experience. The splash screen in the iPhone app. It is a big distraction; it covers the whole screen, it gives you the perception that something else will happen, not your company's content. The people in the splash screen do not correlate with the company. What can you do better? 1) Never occupy the whole screen; 2) You can have a set of 20 messages that randomly show up and those would define your strengths or a salutation as ChatGPT does. I really appreciate how easy to apply job using ZipRecruiter and search option is so user friendly. the application quickly matches the relevant roles and sharing the notification on timely basis, it helps me know the new opportunities. the UI/UX design is clean and smooth and it allows me to save the job posting one of the best feature in the application. overall this application efficient, organized, and genuinely helpful for finding correct job. I feel like there could be more helpful information on how to get hired for the job you have applied for or how many people have already applied for the job. This would help tailor your resume or help you decide if you are qualified for the position. It would also help you understand how you stack up against other people who have applied. I like how ZipRecruiter makes it so much easier to apply to positions with quick applies and the one-tap apply feature. It's also great that I can see when potential employers look at my resume, which has resulted in hearing back from them. This is a big improvement over other job services where I often never hear back. Applying to jobs is easy and finding relevant jobs aligned with what I want to do is a breeze with ZipRecruiter. I haven't found anything that could be improved upon or things that don't work super well. The only thing I think is I'd like to be able to upload different types of resumes. I wish ZipRecruiter allowed applicants to message recruiters more often. It would make me feel like my efforts aren't lost in the electronic sea. Also, having access to the company's contact information would be a nice addition.
