I use YunoJuno every day as a client, and I am also hired through the platform as a freelancer, so I have seen it from every angle.

It is a straightforward and user-friendly platform, very easy to navigate. Plenty of helpful articles and explanations on the various processes of working as a freelancer, and the requirements you need.

The staff are usually quick to respond and will try to resolve any issues I have. The marketplace offers lots of freelancers, very helpful when needing extra resource, and the brief creating section of the platform is easy to use. I have to onboard new freelancers regularly and it is a simple process, although you may have to wait a little while for the security checks to complete.

Two-weekly payments are quick and easy, and timesheeting is very simple. Logging invoices sent through from YunoJuno to our finance team is a simple process thanks to the format they use.

The IR35 checks are very straightforward - compared to other tools I have used over the years, this is absolutely the most straightforward and user-friendly tool to conduct assessments through. I am confident in our complience with IR35 laws whilst using YunoJuno.

Some aspects are not entirely clear, such as how to add overtime for weekend work - a lot of the freelancers I hire seem to struggle with this. However, for the most part, it is quite self-explanatory.

Occaisonally when I reach out on the live chat to ask questions, I am given strange answers that aren't relevant to my query. I'm not sure if these are generated by templates or some kind of AI bots, but at times they do not make sense and I end up having to clarify what I mean multiple times.

Regarding the marketplace, I sometimes post briefs with very specific requirements but recieve applications from freelancers who don't meet those brief requirements. It would be helpful if there were some sort of screening process before freelancers could apply to a brief, as I often have to spend extra time reviewing and removing those unsuitable from the list. The ease of tracking contractors, as a business we have had hundreds of FL engagements per year and being able to look up contact details, contract information, days worked etc from multiple years passed has proved invaluable and a huge time saver. The only thing of note is inconsistency of UI across different sections of the platform ie in Timesheet approval the first drop down is 'freelancer' but in the contracts tab it's 'state' Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using YunoJuno for over 6 years now and has a senior freelancer testing several market places and job platforms, YunoJuno are by far 1st place for me. I've met incredible clients, had the chance to work on some really great brand projects over the years that have gone world-wide and find the whole platform a breeze to get to see briefs > accept a project > get paid. YunoJuno is the best in the business when it comes to creative freelancing. It is an easy-to-use platform that offers a variety of briefs from world-class brands and allows creatives to collaborate with great clients. The platform is fantastic for both the user and the client because it ensures that clients get the work they want and freelancers get paid for it (gone are the days of nagging for payments) - it's a win-win all around. They make working with contracts, timesheets, invoicing and payments easy, convenient and seamless. YunoJuno is a fantastic platform for freelancers to find work. You create a profile, where a wide range of top-level clients can view your portfolio and get in touch. On your profile you tag specific skills which helps you appear in client-side searches. This is great because it means you have clients contacting you rather than the other way around. However if you see a brief you want to apply for your CV/portfolio is already there so you don’t need to spend time filling in forms. Your day rate is set on your profile so there is no awkward quoting process to go through, which makes things much easier.

It’s also great that they take care of all the tax/ compliances issues which opens up the opportunity to work for clients abroad.

The timesheet and invoicing process is super simple and they send helpful reminders so you never forget to fill it in. There is the added functionality of being able to add extra time incase you need to add on a couple of hours instead of a full or half day. With YunoJuno I know that I am guaranteed to be paid on time, so it really takes the stress out of invoicing.

On the extremely rare occasions I have had an incorrect invoice, the (not a chat-bot) messaging function lets me talk to one of their super friendly customer support team, who respond with lighting speed to fix the issue.

Once the work is complete the client can give you a review which appears on your profile and enhances your work/experience section, which in turn helps you win more work.

Their new AI talent match feature means I have been getting more matches with clients who require specialised skills in my field - which is fantastic - anything that helps visibility is a win! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

YunoJuno is the easiest and simplest platform we've used to find high quality freelancers to date. The talent pool is high, the brief and booking process is quick, and getting timesheets and invoices sorted is a quick weekly task. On top of that, the team at YunoJuno are incredibly proactive and responsive - jumping on new briefs to help shortlist candidates and answering any other questions we've had in the years we've been using them. The new UI is very much cleaner & interactive which makes it easy to track projects & actions

Also they have now updated & streamlined the onboarding and compliance process so now its easy to upload docs, manage contracts & renewals.

As mentioned earlier it should tap more global regions so that more freelancers can have its access.

Yuno Juno has consistently delivered excellent service. The team is incredibly attentive, responsive, and proactive, always quick to assist whenever we need support.
