For someone used to Windows-based print servers like Fiery, the navigation and logic of FreeFlow can feel counterintuitive and "old school." • The Impact: New staff or casual users may struggle to perform even basic tasks without significant training, making it harder to "delegate" print duties in a busy school or office environment. **What problems is Xerox FreeFlow Print Server solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem is having to manually set up booklets, business cards, or calendars for every single order. The benefit is that Programmable Queues and Hot Folders let you automate those repetitive tasks. In a school environment, for example, you can create a “Final Exams” queue that automatically applies imposition, duplexing, and specific tray calls the moment a file is dropped in. It turns what used to be a 20-minute manual setup into a 2-second “drag and drop” process. ### 2. My company has had to call a technician at least 10 times this year. **What do you dislike about Xerox FreeFlow Print Server?** This is a slow device. It is always taking more than 5 min to process the order. Then, another 10 minutes to actually print. Color is not that vibrant even with bright white paper. The printer gets jammed and also decides what is best for you. If I program it to print back and front sometimes it prints two pages. I can go on and on about what I don't like but this might give you a small idea of all the problems I have with it. **Recommendations to others considering Xerox FreeFlow Print Server:** Do not purchase this.
