It takes the selection of a printer prior to printing out of it. **What do you dislike about uniFLOW?** I dislike how it depends on the email address for connection for our setup. We have it set up for a school which not all the students have an active email address, so it creates a little challenge for the lower grades. **What problems is uniFLOW solving and how is that benefiting you?** uniFLOW is helping us with our reduction of printing because of printing to the wrong copier, someone else picking up the print job, etc. It allows our users to just go to the copier of their choice and print on the spot. ### 5. Being able to tie in our existing RFID badges to login to hardware as also a huge benefit. **What do you dislike about uniFLOW?** The initial configuration wasn't the more user-friendly towards the beginning. The learning curve for employees was a bit steep, but that isn't entirely a downside of the software, more so our demographic. **What problems is uniFLOW solving and how is that benefiting you?** Uniflow allows us to: Accurate tracking and analytics of print costs and overall printing metrics, while ensuring that sensitive information is printed securely per user. This relieved the headaches of them not knowing which machine they were looking to print to or even trying to develop a standard machine naming convention. ### 9. Can integrate automatic Cost Centers with a database (I have a custom Client Matter database in SQL. I created a View and set up a scheduled update of uniFLOW). Easy. They have two interface options: Legacy and Modern. The Modern interface looks nice and is what you'd expect from a product developed in 2017. Except, **What do you dislike about uniFLOW?** Cost Center Selection Popup is from 2004. The one from 2014 is severely lacking in functionality. Cost Center Selection Popup can't be bypassed, or have auto-select for x minutes. Cost Center Selection Popup search functionality on the modern interface is terrible. Sometimes the MOM Client disconnects from the server and has to be restarted, which is difficult for end users to do and requires IT intervention. **Recommendations to others considering uniFLOW:** It’s complicated when there’s a problem but most of the time it is up and working and makes printing on a big campus work smoothly. **What problems is uniFLOW solving and how is that benefiting you?** Good admin interface. Powerful workflow options. Scan workflows are powerful. Built-in OCR, etc. Can use a desktop scanner with a copier-style interface (great for our front desk people who scan mail). ### 10. It helped us cut down on the mount people print. It took the guess work out of printing. Most users don’t print anywhere near as much as they did with out old print server.
