What company sizes and industries is WPS Office the best fit for?

What customer support options does WPS Office provide, and how do users find the overall support experience?

Support is available through direct channels such as chat and phone, alongside self-service resources like a knowledge base. The experience is mixed: users describe helpful support, while others report slow responses or difficulty getting timely assistance.

What is the experience like for teams switching to WPS Office from another tool?

Switching to WPS Office from Microsoft Office and other document, spreadsheet, or PDF tools is often driven by lower cost, a lighter setup, and the convenience of handling several file types in one place. Users describe the familiar office-suite workflow as making the change manageable, though some find that advanced features, complex spreadsheets, or formatting do not fully match their previous tools.

What features or capabilities could make WPS Office even more useful?

WPS Office could be more useful with improvements to navigation, performance, and handling of complex files. The most common opportunities are:
  • Make tools easier to find: Organize menus and controls more clearly so users can locate features without searching.
  • Strengthen spreadsheet capabilities: Expand support for advanced formulas, macros, and other complex spreadsheet work.
  • Improve PDF conversion: Preserve tables, text layout, and formatting more reliably when converting PDFs to editable documents.
  • Speed up demanding tasks: Reduce lag and improve stability when opening large files or working on mobile devices.
  • Make the free experience less disruptive: Reduce intrusive ads and upgrade prompts, and make premium features more accessible.

"Fast, All-in-One Office Suite with Excellent Microsoft Office Compatibility"
4.5/5
What do you like best about WPS Office?

The thing I like best about WPS is its all-in-one workspace that combines Writer, Spreadsheets, Presentations, and PDF tools in a single application. I regularly use the built-in PDF converter and editor to modify documents without installing additional software. The Microsoft Office compatibility is excellent, preserving formatting when opening Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files, while the lightweight interface keeps the application fast even on older laptops. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WPS Office?

While WPSOffice covers most everyday tasks, I’ve noticed that complex Microsoft Excel files containing advanced features such as formulas, macros, or PivotTables are not always rendered correctly. The free version also displays ads frequently, which can disrupt the workflow. Another limitation is that some PDF features, such as scanned documents and OCR, require a premium subscription. I’d also like to see better cloud synchronisation and faster loading when working with larger documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"WPS Office Keeps All My Client Docs, Comments, and Decks in One Place"
4.5/5
What do you like best about WPS Office?

Most of my day starts with review creative briefs, client requirements, project proposals and guidelines before I start designing. That's why having everything in a single app saves alot of time. WPS office makes it easier for me to review client documents, leave comments, prepare presentation decks, and share revisions without multiple apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WPS Office?

Sometimes, when I’m reviewing client presentations or brand guideline documents, custom fonts and images don’t always render exactly as intended if they aren’t installed, and that can throw off the layout. It does support multiple file types, but these kinds of rendering issues still pop up from time to time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use, Reliable WPS Office for Everyday Documents and Spreadsheets"
5/5
What do you like best about WPS Office?

I like WPS Office because it’s easy to use and works reliably for my day-to-day work. The Excel and spreadsheet features are especially helpful for creating, opening, and editing files. Editing documents is also straightforward, so I can make changes quickly without any hassle. I also appreciate being able to open and manage different types of files in one place, which saves me time and keeps everything organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WPS Office?

Some features can feel a bit confusing at first, especially the first time you try them. A few of the more advanced options also aren’t very easy to locate right away. Aside from that, I haven’t run into any major issues while using WPS Office. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Efficient, and Lightweight—WPS Office Gets the Job Done"
4.5/5
What do you like best about WPS Office?

What I like most about WPS Office is its simplicity and efficiency and it's easy to use user interface.. It gives you everything you need in one place without slowing you down or complicating things. The interface feels familiar, files work smoothly with Microsoft Office formats, and the built in PDF tools are genuinely useful.

Wps is practical, lightweight, and gets the job done at my convenience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WPS Office?

What I dislike about WPS Office is that if you are using a free version those adds popping and prompts to upgrade can frustrate anyone. It also breaks the workflow.

And, while it’s very capable, some advanced features still don’t match the depth and polish of Microsoft Office, especially for heavy or highly complex work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Free Tier and Smooth Performance, but Word-to-PDF Requires a Subscription"
3.5/5
What do you like best about WPS Office?

There’s a free tier, and you don’t need to buy templates because it already includes everything inside, similar to Microsoft. You can use it for Word, Excel, and other documents, including PDFs as well. And loading peformance is so smooth more than I can think, layout more beautiful include when visit web or software Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WPS Office?

Hmm, Word to PDF not available, it still available when you must subcribe and this doesn't include in free plan any way, sometime our user doesn't have credit for subcribe, any way to use online version for exchange PDF or use foxit to exchange is not carefull, our policy doesn't accept allow to upload more other software doesn't allow in our organize Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Affordable Office Alternative with Solid Cloud Storage"
4.5/5
What do you like best about WPS Office?

It has a cheaper, or even close-to-free, version that people within the organization can use, while still providing decent cloud storage and office functions. It also offers the same functions as traditional Microsoft Office. There are minimal glitches, and it can be used efficiently offline as well. It also have an Al function within it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WPS Office?

If you don’t have Premium, the functions feel a bit limited, and a Premium subscription pop-up keeps coming up repeatedly. It also lakes other complex programming function like Power query and opening such files does not allow you to refresh or edit the query steps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One File Editing on Mobile with WPS—Smooth Performance and Great Support"
5/5
What do you like best about WPS Office?

Earlier, we needed different websites or apps to open different types of files—for example, Adobe for PDFs and Microsoft spreadsheets for spreadsheets. But now, with the help of WPS, it’s possible to open different files in one place. It’s a user-friendly and helpful app. The file autosaver feature has helped to recover back the files even if my system crashes due to any reason. Spreadsheets also provide some good tools like formula suggestion, filters and quick table formatting even in free version. AI also help to search a particular slide and do work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WPS Office?

It can sometimes get slow when working with large files. It shows a lot of ads and popups in free version. Pdf to word conversion is not always accurate for tables and heavy formatted documents. Also when internet connection is unstable, cloud related popups and sync attempts slow down experience. Moreover it sometimes gives grammar mistakes but it is less Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
