I mostly use WPS Office for college-related documents, especially when I need to work with Word files, PDFs, or documents I have recently opened. I usually start from the Recent section because it shows the files I have worked on recently, which is convenient when I am moving between notes, assignments, and other study material.I also use the PDF tools when I need to read or make small changes to PDF documents. Having options such as PDF editing and PDF conversion available from the same application is useful when a document is not in the format I originally received. For example, if I have a PDF that needs some changes or needs to be converted before I can work with it, I can handle that from WPS instead of immediately looking for another application. Another feature I use is the cloud storage integration, particularly when I need to access a document stored on Google Drive or another connected service. It is useful for college work because I don't always keep the same files on my computer. I can open the document from the storage service and continue working with it. I also like the search bar for documents on the home screen. When I have several files with similar names, searching for the document is more practical than manually going through different folders. I sometimes have to look past these sections to get to the file or feature I actually need. This became inconvenient when I had several notes, assignments, and PDFs saved in different locations. now, I use WPS Office as my regular place for opening documents and working with PDFs. The Recent section helps me return to files I have already opened, while the PDF editing and conversion tools are useful when I receive study material in PDF format. I can also access documents from Google Drive and other cloud services when the file is not stored directly on my computer. As a result, I spend less time switching between different document applications for basic college work. Earlier, we needed different websites or apps to open different types of files—for example, Adobe for PDFs and Microsoft spreadsheets for spreadsheets. But now, with the help of WPS, it’s possible to open different files in one place. It’s a user-friendly and helpful app. The file autosaver feature has helped to recover back the files even if my system crashes due to any reason. Spreadsheets also provide some good tools like formula suggestion, filters and quick table formatting even in free version. AI also help to search a particular slide and do work. Pdf to word conversion is not always accurate for tables and heavy formatted documents. Also when internet connection is unstable, cloud related popups and sync attempts slow down experience.
