WPS Office does the job in a nice, modern way. It has a sleek design and is easy to use. I like how each document is separated into tabs, making it easy to navigate through different documents. The tabs also make it easy to open up multiple documents at once. I have had no issues with the platform so far and would recommend it to anyone. This platform offers a single-window that brings together a word processing editor, excel worksheet, presentation, and PDF editor. As I mentioned earlier, this is all wrapped up in a lightweight, standalone program. That is awesome. I've personally subscribed to WPS for years now, and for personal business ventures, although my employer's official office suite is from Microsoft. I can't emphasize enough the value of this service over time. There are so many great features that come with this product and the price is unbeatable. I am happy with my purchase. **What do you dislike about WPS Office?** It may be a bit biased to say that, but I cannot help but only breathe out the merits of WPS. I have to say that I am very impressed with the app. It is designed so well and has always met my expectations. They support a wide range of document formats, including PDF, Docx, Excel, PPT, and others. They provide a WPS cloud so that all documents are in the same place and can be accessed and modified at your time and location with only a few clicks. I can use alternate tabs to work on Excel and PDF documents simultaneously. They provide a pre-defined template for reports, resumes, and a lot more. **What do you dislike about WPS Office?** The smartphone version is overloaded with adverts and is difficult to use due to the constant display of ads. We can read any type of documents like doc, PDF, Word, etc. Instead of just reading, we can easily edit as well; this feature is the best. This application provides an option to convert one document format to another, which is the best feature I have ever seen in any application. It also provides a feature to transfer files to PCs or share files with friends using mobile. It offers a cloud storage option, and in tools, we can find plenty of options for each doc type. If you have an older android version on your phone or the phone maker did not include necessary apps for you to open different types of document formats on your phone. The app works great and I did not come by any type of document I couldn't open. There are a few details that I personally dislike which will be in the "cons" section but the software does its job and in that it works as intended. **What do you dislike about WPS Office?** The worst thing about this software is the free version bombards you with ads nearly all of the time. Once you get in, once you try and open a document, once you exit the document. Ads are everywhere and it can be very annoying, so much that it made me lower the grade of a great designed and well functioning software to something that is maybe not worth the hassle or just makes you want to buy a laptop instead of using it on your phone. **What problems is WPS Office solving and how is that benefiting you?** WPS Office gives you the ability to open nearly any format of documents on your android phone (at least for my type of use, it was very able to open and view all kinds of documents on more than two different phones) but at a large cost of most of your nerves and a great deal of time that goes into canceling ads and trying to find the x button. ### 46. I like how different documents of Writer, Spreadsheets, and Presentations can be placed in one window as separate tabs. These tabs can also be pulled out to be individual windows. This makes maneuvering through different documents very easy and improves the UX. There is also a WPS pdf option, I mostly just use it for viewing documents although there are a range of plugins that include PDF to Word conversion. WPS is easy to install and setup when starting off with it and it runs ok depending on the work you are doing. Its user interface is great and on top of its considerable pros, it is free with a premium option. **What do you dislike about WPS Office?** I like the user interface and its layout but it tends to be a bit clattered, the various commands under a given tab within a document tend to get hidden. There are left and right arrows that pop up on the toolbar to show hidden commands which is cool, but it's always an adventure when you can’t find a command that you readily need. **Recommendations to others considering WPS Office:** I recommend WPS office especially if you are looking for a cost effective solution. It is a great alternative to Microsoft Office and Libra Office, and even out-competes both of these in some areas. **What problems is WPS Office solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use WPS office for basic work such as typing reports and simple spreadsheet calculations. I have also used it for heavy data analysis. Its a great solution given that its free, with occasional ads. ### 47.
