The use of API is very simple, which explains why I can define intents and entities, which are the foundation of natural language processing. **What do you dislike about Wit.ai?** There is one more disadvantage of Wit.ai – it does not have good context preservation features. This limited context awareness results into confusing interactions which otherwise detracts user experiences. **What problems is Wit.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** Some of the benefits I can derive using Wit.ai include: It cuts across all my applications to provide NLU capabilities. The API with the logical easy to understand and the fact that the entities are already built, makes the development cycle short. ### 2. Also, the impossibility to manage context on the Wit side. **What problems is Wit.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** I solved the problem of messages that people send out of the chatbot workflow. In this way, I was able to collect contact data whether it was sent in the middle of a sentence. ### 3. Awesome off the self NLP solution **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Md_Zubair A. | Mechanical Design Engineer, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2018 **What do you like best about Wit.ai?** - Awesome GUI for configuring your bot - Awesome and helpful documentation along with walk throughs, We were able to get to speed within few weeks. - Really easy to set up and get started - Can also be configured by a non technical person with ease and without much understanding of whats going on underneath. - Instead of giving millions of sample data, just with few hunderds of data, bot performs magnificently. **What do you dislike about Wit.ai?** Its mostly focused on text bases interactions whereas the bot have evolved so much more than just text based is what i feel. Support for this have been discontinued with is a major blow to us. Our needs have arised more from just text base for eg. image processing, so this is not a complete AI solution, It solves one problem and that it does correctly. Since our backend was JAVA, there isnt an official library for java yet, We had to wrap http around the api to integrate with out backend, **Recommendations to others considering Wit.ai:** Its really is a simple solution for your NLP needs, Really quick to start and integrates very well with out existing app without much changes. **What problems is Wit.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have used Wit.ai to integrate it with our facebook page, along with a facebook messenger. Where users could ask question about the product, FAQs, ask for more support.
