**What do you like best about Wherewolf Waivers?**

I do not know of any upside.  I did not like anything about this. I looked at several online waiver systems and the salesperson presented it very well. It looked like it would really work for us. however this failed miserably .

**What do you dislike about Wherewolf Waivers?**

Everything. Had to buy new Ipads for this to work.  The Ipad version will only show ONE guest at a time . then the system locks up at the end of the first person signing in. Then the Ipad is returned to our staff. we have to restart it then pass to the next guest. this gets repeated until 12 guests are really angry and rolling their eyes.  People do NOT like this. If all the guests popped up it may work. but they don't.  There is no way to check if the next trip is populated and filled out until they arrive.  This only shows on the Desktop version.
Trying to get support is like pulling out hen's teeth . they keep saying email us the problem, when a simple phone call will work.  we are not the experts at these systems . 
They finally respond to your email 3 - 5 days later and don't understand why you are upset. they are in a different time zone and expect you to contact them during their normal business hours ( not yours ) .  
They make contradictory comments such as the system is fully customizable.  But it is NOT.  you cannot customize this at all.

NO BENEFITS were realized.  I have asked for a partial refund as they wanted a full annual payment up front for a discount. however upon startup we realized the problems and they cannot be resolved. they refuse to provide verbal support. they are not available during North American business hours.

**What do you like best about Wherewolf Waivers?**

It has reduced time for our staff as it integrates with our booking software Rezdy.  All booking automatically get our waiver and covid-19 questionnaire prior to arrival.  The best part is no more chasing and filling out paper forms, which is good for our business and great for environment.  The onboarding team at wherewolf are based in NZ, easy to understand and great to work. I have been in adventure tourism for 22 years and wherewolf has been a game changer for us. manually notifying Wherewolf of new products to add to the waiver platform is something that could be improved.

The staff and support are top tier. If we ever have any queries they're able to brainstorm with us about the best solution that works for our business. Everything is streamlined so that I don't have to think about sorting and filing my waivers, and easy access to the analytics is a game changer for us.

**What do you dislike about Wherewolf Waivers?**

Customers can be a little fussy about filling out the waivers when they visit, because it takes a couple of minutes (they act like it's taken them an hour), but it helps us work out where to spend our advertising dollars.  So I guess, this isn't a dislike about Wherewolf, it's more about customers needing to sign waivers to begin with.

We love it, it has streamlined our business and is easy to use!

**What problems is Wherewolf Waivers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to use paper waivers and ask our staff to find out how the customers found us through casual conversation. We found Wherewolf and have streamlined everything. We still chat with our customers about how they found us, but having them also fill this information in Wherewolf means we have that saved for access later on - we are also saving a tonne of trees and storage space!

The Wherewolf team is very responsive. They customized the application to our needs as a company. The application is also very easy to use for both our clients and our team.

There are some areas where additional customization would be beneficial. I am sure this will be possible as the application is developed further.

Communicate clearly with the team and give a few options regarding what end result you would like. The team works hard to help you out, but some things are not yet possible development wise.

We increased the efficiency and environmental sustainability of our waiver process for surf lessons and rentals. This has reduced our environmental impact as a company and also made us more organized overall.

**What do you like best about Wherewolf Waivers?**

We have been using Wherewolf in our Queensland-based tourism business since 2017 and I can truly say that Wherewolf has been one of the easiest and pain-free platforms to deal with. The Wherewolf waiver app is extremely user friendly and allows our business to collect an abundance of information from each customer.  The back office sections is helpful for recording information such as hire duration and security deposits and allows us to see real data, from country of origin to age ranges. The data trends have been used many times to justify our marketing expenses and assist our regional tourism body in determining visitation figures from year to year. The customer service that we receive is second-to-none. The team is extremely helpful and is happy to answer any questions and make changes as necessary. Natalie has been with us since day one and I can honestly say that she is a pleasure to deal with. With COVID this year, Wherewolf was beyond accommodating when our business was forced to shut down for a number of weeks. Wherewolf placed us in a hibernation plan and reduced our fees down to almost nothing (of course they are a business too, so they still need to be paid). This made things so much easier during such a tough time. 
100% recommend Wherewolf. It makes life so much easier!

Do it now! Wherewolf has been a real lifesaver for our business!

Since moving from a paper-based system, we have been able to capture accurate data from our consumers which has become helpful in assessing our marketing needs, justifying marketing expenses, and has also been used to assist our regional tourism body in determining local visitation figures. 
The system has allowed us to keep records more efficiently and assisted us in maintaining our Ecotourism certification by reducing the amount of paper and ink being used to print forms.

We have been working with wherewolf for the past 2 years to and I have continued to stream line the arrival process and waiver signing for our bike hire and tour business.. We also use the data collected to target our email campaigns

I have not come across any dislikes in the 2 years I have been using this software/app. Definitely recommend it to future users if you are in a business that needs waivers signed by customers

We are now trying to do contactless pick up of our hire bikes and the new function to be able to send a link to our waiver prior to arrival and have customers fill out the info pre arrival is hopefully going to increase efficiency and reduce contact for staff and customers

Captures information that you can access from  your computer and devices, reduces paper waste and quick an easy recall of past customers info when needed.

So far everything has worked smoothly so no downside.

Was using paper waivers that we had to store and never look at again.. not anymore!! Now capturing information that we weren't beforehand from bookings before customer arrives that streamlines our decision processes.

**What do you like best about Wherewolf Waivers?**

I was attracted by the friendly sales pitch and a nice looking custom build out for the front end, but the software was ultimately unusable.

**What do you dislike about Wherewolf Waivers?**

After weeks trying to implement we still didn't have a product that we could use. Nothing worked as advertised and the process of trying to fix it became so time consuming that we had to put it on hold. 

We requested that Wherewolf suspend the billing until the slow season when we would have more time to work with them toward creating a compatible product. They ignored that request, insisted that they delivered what was promised and continued to charge us. I was forced to contest the charges and subsequently threatened with additional fees.

**Recommendations to others considering Wherewolf Waivers:**

Look elsewhere. Wherewolf is not a viable solution for a tours and activities business. Smartwaiver offers a much better solution without an expensive initial build-out fee and a painful implementation process.

We attempted to use Wherewolf as a waiver system and were ultimately unable to implement it. It was a massive waste of money, time and energy and we've realized no benefits.

**What do you like best about Wherewolf Waivers?**

Nothing- they'll lie to you during your demo, then play you for your sign-up money, then change what they promise- leaving you with nothing but lost money and time.

**What do you dislike about Wherewolf Waivers?**

Be wary. They promised SO munch more than they could actually do. I discovered this right after paying them $1,500 and since then, their "management" has been too busy to reply to me despite 10 or so emails. An employee will respond saying they'll look into it, but know that they'll suggest savings of hundreds of dollars a month if you use their product (such as Constant Contact), when in fact, they do not. Feel free to reach out to me personally for details. I own 5 escape rooms and have owned haunted houses for 20 years. Trust me, working with someone that lies to you then takes your money and will "look into it" for a month is not what they seem. james@castleofchaos.com

Do your research- you'll see more customers stating that this company is a scam than there are customers stating that their software actually does what their salespeople will claim. Save your time and money and look elsewhere.

No benefits. We spent the money we set aside for improving our Escape Room software with them, and are now left with nothing to show for it. It'll end up costing us thousands.

The initial idea of the app was great but we did not get what was demonstrated to us.

The app that was demonstrated was not what we ended up with and we had to pay extra

The app that was demonstrated to us was not what we ended up with and we had to pay another $500 to get a custom design like the app at the sales pitch. We did not realise there would be on-going monthly expenses as well. We tried it for two weeks and customers did not like it so we wasted over $3500 for nothing.

none. I do not recommend this product at all

1.  The concept was good but when it was not compatible there was no refund
2.  We did not use the app and after countless emails asking to stop they keep charging for the one year subscription.
3. Was told they would try another option had no reply.

Paying close to NZD$4000 and having nothing to show.... RIP OFF DO NOT USE THEM

While we haven't finished our process with Wherewolf yet, they have been very helpful every step of the way in getting things set up.

**What do you dislike about Wherewolf Waivers?**

There wasn't clear enough communication around who our new account manager was going to be once Alex left. Also, it would be great if you could make the app android friendly rather than only available on Apple.

We are trying to gain more information from our customers and once we have implemented it, I'm sure that it will help us do just that.

Wherewolf check in app is really easy to use once we go through the tutorial. Our customers have no issues with it and most are impressed of how efficient and easy it is. 

**What do you dislike about Wherewolf Waivers?**

The app is not very stable, it can crash at any time even after we did a lot of troubleshooting.

We are still trying to figure out why it's crashing so much. We use 5 ipads to use this app and out of 5, 4 of them crash all the time.
