**Describe the project or task Vigience helped with:**

Vigience provided their software Overcast to pull both batch and real-time data out of SAP to create a single, simple workflow within a non-SAP application.  Vigience also provided consulting services to help us implement the system and helped us get the integration officially certified by SAP.

**What do you like best about Vigience?**

1. No unsubstantiated hype.
2. Many Executives are former SAP employees who know what they are talking about.
3. Product worked as stated and when we had requirements that were not included, the company invested the time to build to our specifications without additional fees, and create new features.

**What do you dislike about Vigience?**

At the time, there was no support team in the US, although they were flexible in taking calls in the morning and night.

**Recommendations to others considering Vigience:**

Consider all long-term costs.  We had the skills internally to built a custom solution but, with SAP and other enterprise solutions continually evolving, the question was whether we wanted to maintain expertise about this integration forever.  Adding in risk factors such as team attrition, the preference among the team to work on new development rather than old support and the implication to mission-critical workflows, we chose Vigience.  Even the personal relationships that the Vigience team had with internal SAP employees helped in ways we couldn't have done ourselves.

**What problems is Vigience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Acquire batch and real-time SAP data for a sales and marketing use case with a non-SAP API product and user interface requiring a single, clean workflow across systems.

Used vigience as a marketing consultant alongside a coworker of mine some time ago and found the advice and suggestions of the company to be thought forward and appreciated.

**What do you like best about Vigience?**

vigience consultant was patient and willing to suggest several routes with different platforms, helped us put our vision onto paper

**What do you dislike about Vigience?**

there wasn't much that i disliked, maybe had found it sooner
