My favorite feature is the Form link broken alert: when a previously selected AE is deleted, the system immediately warns that the link is broken—an early warning that is absolutely critical for every DM Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are two areas I believe could be improved:

1. Lab form auto-mapping

Since each lab test already includes its unit and normal range, the evaluation column should auto-populate based on the site-entered value, rather than requiring manual selection. This would significantly improve data quality.

2. Nested log-lines

The log-line should support an additional level of nesting. For example, in the tumor “Target Lesion” form, the form itself is a repeatable log-line (I can add multiple lesions). After adding one, I need to enter data for baseline and cycles C1–C20 (as repeating log-lines). These data should be nested under “Target Lesion #1”. The ease of use of Viedoc. Everything runs smoothly and is streamlined. Designing eCRF's are a breeze using the drop and drag function and the reuse library. The ease of implementing edit checks and visibility rules mean I can design the exact form I need to get accurate data. The study workflow can be set up exactly as is needed and everything can be tested in training before going to production. We use Viedoc every single day, it is the center point of my day. This EDC integrates the data management and medical coding that I do on a daily basis. Raising queries, exporting data, pulling any kind of report can be done with the click of a button and saves me so much time. The entire Viedoc team are amazing! I have noticed that Viedoc can occasionally be slow, especially when loading large datasets or working with complex forms. The initial setup and configuration process can also seem somewhat complicated. The Only EDC I'll Ever Recommend- Viedoc is That Good! Since 2018, I’ve worked with Viedoc and watched them consistently raise the bar for what an EDC platform can be. Their design team doesn’t just listen—they collaborate, offering smart, intuitive suggestions that make study setup smoother and smarter. Research sites love the user-friendly interface, and the feedback from coordinators and investigators has been overwhelmingly positive. I recently completed their designer build course with zero coding background, and thanks to their expert guidance, I built two complex multi-center studies—fast. If there’s a downside to using Viedoc, it’s that they’ve ruined other EDCs for me. The platform is so intuitive and the support so responsive, I’ve become completely spoiled. Sure, the idea of taking on designing our study platform sounded intimidating at first—especially for someone who doesn’t speak fluent JavaScript—but their training you do not need to know coding and being able to design the study felt like unlocking superpowers. Viedoc is user friendly, and the clean UI makes navigation easy and minimizes errors during data entry and analysis. Consistent updates in viedoc features to fix the anticipating bugs and quick resolution of errors in cutomer and user support (eg: recently faced an issue to publish the design, which got resolved in a few hours). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I appreciate most about Viedoc is that it offers a complete package. From CRF design to randomization, patient reporting, and output in CDISC format, everything is available in one place, which is what I find most appealing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One aspect I dislike is that when I want to make significant modifications to my CRF design, the available options for customization are not very extensive or in-depth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Viedoc makes building a study easy and fun. It doesn't require extensive coding knowledge; it's quick to get in and start working. It has a modern look and feel that's really nice, the tools and interface are intuitive to use, and the built-in features like customized report dashboards are great. From an end-user perspective, I love that queries and calculated fields update in real time and don't require a form save, and the system is fast and responsive. In the last year, they've made updates to make the Designer experience even better, like ensuring the "Add a field" tools section is always accessible as you scroll down the page designing long forms. They also added functionality to compare database versions to review changes, and a report that gives a better look at what the database impacts will be when publishing changes. The Support team is responsive and helpful, as well. I've worked on studies in several databases, and Viedoc is genuinely my favorite one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There could be more field customization, like options to change the height of items or indent, but there are ways to work around these missing features. The ability to have site and/or study-level documents would be useful for many studies, as well. Overall, any complaints I may have are small - there's nothing I outright dislike about using Viedoc!
