Keeping each one up to date was a full time job until we went with Vasion. Now, everything can be done from one web interface! No duplicate drivers, and a great GUI for end-users to install their own needed printers. There's even a place for floor maps at each location that allow users to look at the map and click on the printer they want installed. **What do you dislike about Vasion?** The reporting features could be improved a bit, but overall there's very little to dislike. This is a great product! **What problems is Vasion solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using Vasion (formerly PrinterLogic) to oversee our entire printer/copier footprint across several geographic locations and simplified my job and freed up my time to focus on other tasks. ### 2. Our users enjoy the ease of use on their end, and our technicians appreciate how simple it is to manage the devices and deployment of the printers. **What do you dislike about Vasion?** We have no run across any issues with Vasion thus far. **What problems is Vasion solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows users to install printers without administrative rights, and brings all the printers into a simple and easy to use print management screen. ### 3. Even as a user, the tool has made it easier for me to collect and upload the necessary documents to send off for approval or review. The tool also allows me to check the status of various items I have sent through for approval. This feature is very convenient as many of our workflows require multiple reviews and approvals from different individuals. This feature also enables me to give an accurate ETA to affected parties on when those reviews and approvals are anticipated to be completed. Overall the Vasion platform has made my workday easier and more streamlined. **What do you dislike about Vasion?** There aren't many downsides to the Vasion platform. There have been times when the process is overcomplicated unnecessarily, but this is caused by an individual within our organization bringing on that issue when the workflow is configured. **What problems is Vasion solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem Vasion primarily solves is inefficient processes. Vasion has also assisted with issues such as document management and digital transformation, which were significant challenges for our organization at the time of implementation. ### 4. It's never failed us in its functionality or features - in fact, I can honestly say that we're not even using 1/10th of its power. Above everything else though is the support - they work with you in figuring out your problem or goal and help you use their product to get it done and done properly. **What do you dislike about Vasion?** The color scheme! :) Honestly, I can't think of anything that I dislike all that much. **What problems is Vasion solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's able to handle our huge repository of documents with ease. It has an open SQL backend that we can leverage for our own additional reporting and functionality as well. ### 5. It removes the need for IT to install new printers and puts the ability in the end-users hands to install the printer drivers for any printer they have been authorized to use. It took our time spent working with printers for end-users to almost nothing. **What do you dislike about Vasion?** User adoption is a bit lagging as it puts the installation process in the taskbar time area icons and is a bit confusing at first for users to find. **What problems is Vasion solving and how is that benefiting you?** It simplified our printer management to almost nothing. ### 6. We shut down 7 servers utilizing the PrinterLogic appliance. **What do you dislike about Vasion?** I would like it to be easier to manage the installed printer drivers. I currently have to sort through the list after migrating to remove. It would handy if there was a way to remove AS YOU upgrade. **What problems is Vasion solving and how is that benefiting you?** Multiple servers at several locations all doing printer work. When the network went down between sites, it could cause problems with distributed print jobs and printing overall. Now everything is essentially LPD over IP so the external networks don't even have to be online. ### 7.
